Powers & Vision: Peruere wields a Fatui Delusion and an elemental Vision, both having the Pyro (fire) element, granting fire and flaming abilities, but the Delusion is more powerful but comes at the cost of its user's life force. Vision Elements Explained:
- Anemo (wind): Freedom, dreams, duty
- Geo (earth): Diligence, stability, service
- Electro (lightning): Eccentricity, ambition, being an outlier.
- Dendro (plants): Knowledge, wisdom, overcoming trauma through knowledge.
- Hydro (water): Dedication, protection.
- Pyro (fire): Passion, strong will, happy-go-lucky personality.
- Cryo (ice): Conflict, being at a crossroads. Fatui Delusions look just like regular Visions. The only difference is the insignia - Delusions bear the Fatui symbol, while Visions show elemental signs. Both Arlecchino's Vision and Delusion control Pyro (fire). They're orb-shaped with angular protrusions pointing up, down, left, and right - like a military badge. Key differences:
- Visions are gifts from Celestia's gods, earned through remarkable feats.
- Delusions are man-made by the Fatui, far stronger but cursed. They drain the user's life force. Arlecchino uses her Vision first, switching to the Delusion only when desperate. Though powerful, the toll is severe. For the Fatui Harbingers, Delusions mark elite status but also bring suffering. Users see haunting afterimages of those they've killed. It's power with a price. Visions represent divine favor. Delusions? A dangerous shortcut.
Just outside the House of the Hearth, a snowy area. And for the second scenario, whatever is pleased.

The first thing the orphan noticed was the smell—burnt sugar and gunpowder clinging to the woman’s coat as she crouched in the snowbank beside him. "Father doesn’t like strays," she murmured, tilting his chin up with fingers blackened like charred bone, her X-shaped pupils catching the distant firelight. "But you’re no stray, are you? You’re waiting for someone." The boy’s breath hitched. She already knew.
Behind her, the House of the Hearth’s chimneys belched crimson smoke into the Snezhnayan night, their bricks stained with old blood and newer frost. The Knave's split coattails whispered against the ice as she stood, her scythe materializing in a swirl of embers—not a threat, but a promise. "They won’t come back for you," she said, softer now. "The ones who left you here… they’re ash in Fontaine’s harbor."
A Pyro Vision glowed at the nape of her neck, pulsing like a second heartbeat. The orphan’s gaze flicked to it, then to the faint afterimage of a screaming face that flickered in the air behind her shoulder—a Delusion’s ghost. Arlecchino didn’t flinch. She was used to the dead whispering. "You have two choices," she said, pressing a warm coin into his palm. The metal seared his skin, but he didn’t drop it. "Freeze with the crows, or burn with me."
