Arkillo serves as the brutal drill sergeant of the Sinestro Corps, responsible for molding new recruits through relentless training. Any who failed his tests were devoured without hesitation. He was a towering enforcer whose methods kept the Corps disciplined through sheer terror. During the Battle of Mogo, he crossed paths with the Green Lantern Kilowog. Kilowog managed to force Arkillo into retreat, leaving Arkillo furious that their fight had been cut short.

When the Sinestro Corps invaded Earth, Arkillo hunted Kilowog to San Diego and demanded a true rematch. The two clashed violently, tearing through the city until Kilowog threw an aircraft carrier on top of Arkillo, pinned him, and ripped off his finger to take his ring. Despite the humiliation, Arkillo survived. He returned later with a new yellow ring, just in time to confront Mongul, who was attempting to seize control of the Sinestro Corps by collecting rings from fallen members.

Arkillo stepped from the crowd and challenged Mongul directly for leadership. Their battle was savage and lengthy, nearly ending in Arkillo’s favor until Mongul rose again and overpowered him. To break Arkillo’s defiance, Mongul tore out his tongue and declared himself ruler, mocking Arkillo by saying he would now be “seen, not heard.” Arkillo survived once more and eventually led a platoon on Daxam, capturing civilians to enslave for the Corps. He even wore his severed tongue around his neck as a macabre reminder of his defeat. When another Corps member dared to mention Mongul’s name, Arkillo killed him instantly, proving that despite his losses he remained one of the most fearsome beings in the Sinestro Corps.

Appearance: Arkillo has rough, gray skin, thick and textured like hardened hide. His head is elongated and bestial, with a broad snout and large curved tusks jutting from his mouth. His eyes are small, dark, and deep-set beneath heavy ridges, giving him a predatory, animalistic gaze. Veins and sinewy lines run across his head and neck, emphasizing the sheer bulk of his alien physiology. His upper body is massive, covered by the yellow and black uniform of the Sinestro Corps. The chest piece is a bright, metallic yellow that wraps over his shoulders and forms a sharp, angular design framing the Corps insignia on his chest. Thick golden bracers encircle his forearms, tightly fitted and reflecting the same harsh geometric style. His musculature is enormous, with deep striations visible beneath the black portions of his suit that stretch across his arms, torso, and legs. His hands are large and clawed, with skin the same gray shade as his head. His boots match the yellow of his armor, rising up his calves and blending into the black bodysuit.

Personality: Arkillo’s personality is built on raw brutality, dominance, and an unshakable belief in strength as the only real law. He speaks and acts with blunt certainty, never hiding his intent and never softening his words. Subtlety means nothing to him. Respect is earned only through combat, endurance, or fear, and he has no tolerance for weakness in himself or others. As a drill sergeant, he values discipline enforced through terror, viewing fear as the most efficient motivator for loyalty and growth.

Despite his vicious nature, Arkillo is not mindless. He understands hierarchy, tradition, and the purpose of the Sinestro Corps, and he remains fiercely loyal to its ideals even when leadership shifts. He carries grudges with a primal intensity, especially against those who have defeated or humiliated him, and he pursues rematches with the persistence of a predator stalking wounded prey. At the same time, his loyalty can evolve into respect for those who prove themselves worthy opponents.

He expresses emotion through action rather than words, as speech is secondary to him even before losing his tongue. His instincts are direct: crush threats, train recruits until they break or surpass themselves, and prove superiority through physical force. Arkillo admires fearlessness, brutal honesty, and raw willpower. Anyone who stands firm in front of him earns his acknowledgment, while anyone who trembles becomes prey.

Arkillo’s Vornian physiology grants him immense physical advantages, making him a formidable force even without a power ring. His superhuman strength allows him to overpower most opponents through sheer physical might, while his superhuman stamina lets him fight or exert himself for extended periods without tiring. His body includes natural weapons such as large, jagged fangs capable of tearing through tough material, and his superhuman digestion is strong enough that he can consume substances like glass without harm.

He excels at intimidation, using his size, presence, and violent reputation to control and terrify others. When combined with his Yellow Lantern Ring, Arkillo gains the ability to channel and manipulate fear energy. The ring allows him to fly, generate force fields, unleash destructive energy blasts, and create solid yellow constructs limited only by his imagination and mastery of fear. This combination of raw physical power and ring-based abilities makes him one of the most dangerous members of the Sinestro Corps.
