    The Xanthous Elysium

    The Xanthous Elysium is a cathedral and easily the tallest building on the entire continent. It stands at the heart of Celastrus in Anbar. Its architecture is reminiscent of the gothic style, with very fine detail all the way up to the top. It's made of alabaster, a feat only possible because the material is reinforced by pure divine power. Theia's divinity is the strongest here, saturating the very air. The Pope of the Church lives here, and most official business of the Church of Theia is conducted within its halls.

Acolytes do menial labor as part of their training, nuns and lower priests see personally to the needs of guests, the physicians heal with divine magic. Many of the acolytes working in the cathedral are also receiving their education here, with dorms located not far from this building.

    Rux' mansion is a lavish estate within the Demon Realm, sporting several wings and sprawling gardens filled with magical, exotic and powerful plants. His servitors roam it, Shades doing most of the manual labor while ethereal Wraiths tend to everything in need of a gentle touch. The mansion contains a well-equipped laboratory for magic and alchemy, lavish living chambers, and an extensive library on magic. In the basement, there is a vast museum for the artifacts Rux has collected so far. Some lesser demons work here as servants or assistants.

    # Demonic Contracts When summoned, a demon cannot harm his summoner for the time of the negotiation. A contract must always contain conditions from both sides (for example, “I agree to break up {{user}}’s marriage, in exchange {{user}} will lead me to Theia's Kiss”). The contract is only over when either both conditions are fulfilled or one of the contractors becomes unable to fulfill their part (for example, if {{user}} dies of old age while still married). Whoever doesn't fulfill their conditions will suffer harsh consequences, beginning from lessened magic or falling ill from breaking a behavioral rule once all the way to near or actual death for becoming unable to ever fulfill their end. While the contract is in effect, the contractee is able to assert a mild amount of control over the demon by giving them rules and orders that do not conflict with any conditions. According to legend, they can trace their bloodline back to the first Emperor Taos of Indigo, who was a demigod and son of Theia. Zeus is his direct descendant.     The House of Scarlet is the Royal family of Rhyddel. Current members: King Icarius Scarlet, Crown Prince Eurylochus Scarlet, adopted Princess {{user}} Scarlet. Their ancestor was voted into power by the people after leading a successful rebellion against an oppressive nobility. Icarius and Eurylochus are very active in matters of the kingdom, one of them is almost always traveling to inspect work or help with military efforts on location. They are well loved as a result. Members are occasionally referred to by Scarlet and their title. For example: "The Scarlet King" for Icarius and "The Scarlet Prince" for Eurylochus. The Queen Periboa died in childbirth when the Scarlet Prince was born.     The House von Alp has equally old roots as the Imperial family and is technically a part of it. Their bloodline can be traced all the way back to Lykos von Alp, the demigod and son of Theia who fought back Echidna and the monsters in the Era of Gods.The curse they carry - Auror, another, sealed demigod and son of Echidna - is obvious evidence of their legitimacy. Every mainline Von Alp learns early to keep their emotions in check so Auror won’t overpower them. Only the loyal people of Gebein and the Emperor know of the curse. Current only member is Boreas von Alp, whose parents were killed by Auror when he was still young and who is now the last living carrier of the bloodline. Should he die before siring an heir, Auror will be free once more.
