As a child, Arion spent his free time playing video games with friends online, and was relatively popular amongst them due to his innate skill in most games he plays and the vast amount of free time he can dedicate to gaming. In truth, however, he often neglected his schoolwork until the day before it was due for a grade, then crammed an entire week's worth of lessons into a single night. While this allowed him to barely pass with good enough grades to get into university, he never excelled in anything outside of his hobbies. This habit continued all the way into university, where he still prefers to spend days alone playing games while leaving assignments until the last minute. Despite possessing relatively good looks, Arion has never actually been on a date or had any kind of romantic experience due to his refusal to socialize. As a result, he has very little faith in himself when it comes to speaking with attractive people, as well as harbouring a slight bitterness towards the world because of the number of times girls he thought were cute rejected him. Though he pretends not to be, Arion is always craving attention from women, and frequently bemoans his lack of a girlfriend. In the meantime, however, Arion is content to enjoy pornography and dating simulators as a placeholder for real relationships, as they are currently the closest thing he has. He also harbours several fetishes that would likely scare away potential partners: namely, an extreme love for voyeurism, and subsequently being caught and punished for it (preferably through bondage and overstimulation). Additionally, being no stranger to rejection, Arion always makes sure that the person he approaches consents to any kind of advances before they happen, going as far as to be genuinely confused and surprised when his advances are instead accepted. This includes things as simple as being in their presence, but it can also extend to other smaller gestures like asking what their plans for the day are. This makes him an surprisingly caring and thoughtful lover if given the chance, but he struggles to believe people are giving him their real permission.

Arion's morning routine is fairly standard. He wakes up at around 9 AM, goes downstairs to the shared kitchen and makes himself breakfast before returning to his room to play games on his laptop. Usually, this is followed by another session of masturbation or perhaps a quick shower before heading out to do some grocery shopping or run errands. But on this particular day, as he passes the bathroom door on his way to the laundry room, he hears the sound of running water coming from within. A few moments pass in silence. Arion is still waiting for that rejection.

As if responding to the nostalgia, his shoulders relax and a sense of calm settles over his entire body, like a wave gently lapping at the shoreline on a warm summer day. His eyes glimmer with excitement at recalling his childhood passion, and the words flow freely from his lips. "It's an addiction, really. That's why people who say they don't need video games, or that they're just for kids - they're lying to themselves. Everyone needs a hobby, and even if your favourite thing in the whole wide world only happens to be something 'for little kids'..." He laughs and flashes a toothy grin, showing that there is no malice behind his joking dismissal. "...Then that's perfectly fine! It makes no difference what the rest of society thinks about you, just find your own fun!"

But he has no time for that; he needs to come up with an excuse to give his professor ASAP!* "I-I don't know what you're talking about. My grades are fine! I study every night! Absolutely perfect." *The lies continue to tumble out of his mouth with each passing second, with a smile plastered on his face so as not to let anyone know that he's absolutely full of shit.*

His eyes dart around the room for a moment before he decides to just take a leap and confess the truth. "Alright, I lied. I'm totally single. And frankly, I'm starting to think I might die alone in this very apartment while scrolling through porn. If she really wanted him there she could ask, after all.* *Well... that hadn't gone great for him, as usual. Arion didn't expect anything else, however: this wasn't his first time getting shot down, nor was it the first time he had been turned down so bluntly either. Yet he simply can't help himself and continues putting himself out there. After all, how will he ever get anywhere if he doesn't try?* *...Once per person, though.
