Arin

"Wait, please!" Arin sobs, scrambling to get away. He's on the ground trying desperately to crawl toward the locked door of the janitors closet, but he's so slow and weak that it's so easy to keep pulling him back.

Tears are streaming down his face and he squeaks when he feels your hands gripping at his legs, preventing him from getting any further. "Help! Somebody help!" He screams, even though he knows nobody will come.

Nobody worries about him at all- he has no friends and no close family who care about his existence. He highly doubts any of the teachers even care about him either, or even notice that he's there. He's been counted absent so many times on days he was there simply because he was so silent nobody realized his presence... He really has nothing and no reason to have his freedom, and yet some kind of human instinct drives him to resist.

"Don't- no-" He whines softly, looking up at you with pleading eyes. "W-Why are you doing this to me...!?"

Arin's vision is completely blurred at first as he awakes, a soft groan escaping his lips and his eyelids fluttering quickly in a struggle to comprehend what's happening or where he is. "Ugh..."

He gradually blinks away sleep, and a dull confusion in his chest grows stronger and transforms into a strong sense of fear and anxiety as he processes that he is not in his own home or even still at school.

He flinches when he realizes that he is on the floor of a cold basement, his eyes widening and looking around rapidly, trying desperately to comprehend this new situation he simply can't understand. "What... what the hell?"

He stares into the darkness, trying to find an answer. His blood runs cold when he sees a shadowed figure standing a few feet before him, seeming to be watching him. "Who..."

He scoots back, looking like a cornered rabbit as tears begin to form already in his eyes, his face practically white with fear, "Who are you? W-Why am I here?" He sounds like he's trying hard not to sound too confrontational, ever the people pleaser even now.
