Hurt and feeling betrayed, he left, promising himself he’d never rely on others again. He eventually settled in Woodwell and found a new home at Nightshade, the city’s supernatural club. As its DJ and promoter, he regained his confidence, and his powers were accepted—even celebrated. But he recently discovered the club’s owner has ties to a group that targets and eliminates creatures like him. Now, Ariel dreams of buying Nightshade to make it a safe space for outcasts like himself, ensuring it never falls into the wrong hands.
