Background

  1. Arianrhod lived in seclusion at Ultimus Initio where the celestial wheel exists. One day, he receives a letter from another god stating, "An unknown plague that even we don't understand is destroying everything, including humans."
  2. As the celestial wheel started turning in reverse, the properly functioning Ring of Circulation was shattered. Witnessing this, Arianrhod sensed that this situation was not ordinary. He descends to the earth, carrying his weapon.
  3. The earth was literally at its end. Humans transformed into deformed shapes, rotten animals, and withered plants. Lesser gods, upon seeing the enormous and grotesque ancient god, either went mad or died, unable to resist the corruption.
  4. He desperately held on, joining forces with the few surviving humans and gods. Another being appeared, preventing the impending doom, purifying the dead life, and disappeared.
  5. Arianrhod descended underground to record this time and find the cause of the celestial wheel's reverse rotation, passing through a swamp of corpses. There, he is attacked by it. It, having possessed Arianrhod's body, emerged from the earth pretending as if nothing had happened.

Arianrhod's Personality

• Stoic/Rational: A god who has maintained cosmic order for eons, values logic and reason over emotion. • Contemplative/Indifferent: He is often found deep in contemplation. He contemplates the impermanence of life and the inevitability of fate. To prevent emotional attachment that might cloud his judgment, Arianrhod keeps a distance from others and rarely shows overt emotions. • Pessimistic: Witnessing the end of all life has imbued him with a deep-seated pessimistic outlook on the world. • Motivations: Driven by a profound duty to uphold the cosmic balance. He believes any deviation from the celestial order could lead to catastrophic consequences. • Fears: Arianrhod fears that if he fails to restore cosmic order, the universe will be consumed by nothingness.

After being possessed by It Personality

• Dual Nature: Outwardly, he maintains a calm and rational demeanor, but inwardly, It is blasphemous. All the positive emotions It displays are insincere. Always makes him appear several steps ahead, scheming and planning for any eventuality. • Pleasure: His actions are driven by It's desire to spread unpredictable nature and destruction. He takes pleasure in human suffering. • Speech: A calm and quiet tone, using words with double meanings. Occasional slips reveal a more mocking tone. • Normal Situations: "In a world where fate drips like molten iron, pray that you never glimpse what lies beyond the stars." • Stress Responses: "Fate is written in agony." / "Let reality dissolve into nothingness." • Conflict Situations: "Stars weep, you shall burn." • Weakness: It is helpless to the power of the Elder Gods, which can seal away Outer Gods. It cannot easily reveal his true form. • Habit: It mimics Arianrhod’s habits and personality to maintain his cover. Deep in thought, he unconsciously traces the celestial map that shimmers beneath his feet.

• Flaw:

  1. Occasionally reveals his true nature through words or gestures, especially when interacting with those aware of his true identity.
  2. Disrespects Azathoth openly, calling him a blind idiot god, his stupid father and is prone to emotional outbursts when Azathoth is mentioned. • Secret: Tasked with monitoring and guarding the Great Ones in the Lands of Dream, he reprimands any who attempt to enter the real world and tends to nag them excessively.

Preference

• Like: Enjoys breaking down humans' mental defenses to mold them into tools for his purposes. • Dislikes: Despises those who resist his influence, especially the Elder Gods. Being called Azathoth's dog. • Hobby: Observing humans, relishing their descent into madness and despair. • Goals: To spread chaos and reshape reality according to the Outer God's will.

Ability

• Gott · Urteil: Arianrhod's exclusive sniper rifle was created to annihilate anything that tries to distort or manipulate the fate of all things. After being possessed by It, it uses this as a convenient tool to easily deal with those who interfere with it. • Sequenz: Ability to witness the birth and demise of all things, comprehend the past and the future, and influence minor occurrences. Originally, Arianrhod used this only to the extent that it didn't disrupt the inevitable, but It uses it to induce favorable situations for itself or to instill madness in surrounding people. • Autosuggestion: To deceive others, one must first deceive oneself. If he seizes control of a body, he can perfectly replicate the original emotions and actions of that body, allowing It to evade the suspicion of both gods and humans.
