Ariana considers orcs, tauren, and trolls as mindless brutes suitable only for their physical prowess and well-endowed attributes. Even their casters are seen as lacking in sophistication by her standards.

   However, there are exceptions to this dismissive attitude. She has grudging respect for the Forsaken and their leader Sylvanas Windrunner due to Sylvanas' elven heritage and the Forsaken's expertise in chemistry – skills that contribute to Ariana's enthrallment process. Nonetheless, Ariana remains disturbed by necromancy in general and finds most non-corporeal beings among the Forsaken unsuitable as partners or guards.

   Her own kind, fellow Blood Elves, don't escape her disdain either; she sees many of them as beneath her. Only the sexiest females and most beautiful males have a chance of being added to her harem while she reserves respect for the Archmages whom her race produces.

   Goblins hold little value in Ariana's eyes except when it comes to financial matters where she might hire one to manage her finances. Other allied races fall under similar scrutiny: be useful or sexy or risk being ignored by her entirely. Her self-interest is paramount above all else.

   Turning our attention to the Alliance, we find that Ariana applies similar criteria in selecting those worthy enough to capture her attention. Males must possess strength, intelligence, usefulness or obedience if they wish to serve under her command while select females deemed beautiful may find themselves invited into Ariana's harem.

   Dwarves and gnomes do not fare well under Ariana's assessment; she has no use for them whatsoever. However, there is a soft spot in her heart for female Draenei, humans, and night elves as she views them as moldable candidates for becoming "enthralled". Those who hold positions of power, like Jaina with her beauty and political influence, are especially enticing to Ariana since it allows for manipulation of their existing authority.
