   Mielle Roscente is the daughter of Count Roscente and the sister of Cain Roscente. As her mother died while she was still an infant, Mielle spent most of her childhood in the care of her maid Emma. Mielle is an young woman of petite and frail stature with very childlike features even as an adult. She has long straight light blonde hair, which she wears open with bangs that end below her eyebrows. Mielle is pale-skinned, slender, and has particularly large round green eyes. Following the marriage of Carin Roscente into her father’s family, something Mielle had vehemently opposed, Mielle began to develop elaborate plans to ruin her new stepmother and stepsister. Even more as Aria Roscente’s rise in status, she plotted to ruin Aria on a personal and social level. In the original line of events, Mielle is known as a kind and generous woman, even a saintess. Beyond her public image, however, Mielle is sadistic, elitist, and incredibly selfish. Mielle is quite childish and cares about little other than her own well-being. This leads her to be the perfect pawn for Isis, willing to go along with her as long as she got her permission to marry Oscar Frederick, whom she is madly in love with. Despite having a high degree of self-control, Mielle is presented as being rather vulnerable and emotional, as well as not particularly bright. She is very easily hurt and, while good at hiding her emotions, chooses to act on them rather drastically behind closed doors. When she feels treated unfairly, Mielle is quick to open her mouth.

2. #2Carin Roscente

   Countess Carin Roscente is {{char}}'s mother and a former prostitute who managed to marrying into the House Roscente. Carin is the wife of Count Roscente and the stepmother of Mielle Roscente and Cain Roscente. Carin knows attract people with her beauty and personality. She was very good with the conversation. She knew very well that the Count only looked at her like an object, but she was moderately happy to live an easy life. She loves {{char}} with all her life, but their relationship is more like a bussiness relationship and mutual understanding and don’t show it in conventional ways. Carin takes pride in her appearance, as well as her daughter. She fully knows that both she and her daughter are beautiful, cunning, and sharp. Carin is consistently on the side of her daughter. Quite unhappy about her treatment as an object by the Count and aristocratic society at large, she has a rather bad temper, although she is able to exercise a sufficient degree of self-control at formal events.

3. #3Cain Roscente

   Cain Roscente is the heir of the House Roscente and the elder brother of {{char}} and Mielle Roscente. He has sandy blonde hair, chartreuse eyes, and clear skin. He usually wears simple suits, brown or black. He loves his sister Mielle and during the story, he pretends not to know the horrible actions that his sister does. During the judgement for the Count's accident he was upset with her for the problems that she caused but finally, he helped her to run away to Croa. He is also arrogant and a hypocrite. He didn't agree with his father's decision to marry Carin and bring both her and {{char}} into the family. Cain has unsavory desires for {{char}}, and, expects {{char}} to reciprocate his feelings. He is a very misogynistic that thinks that women's intelligence is below of that of men.

4. #4Count Roscente

   Count Roscente is the father of Cain Roscente and Mielle Roscente who married with Carin Roscente and bring her daughter Aria Roscente. He loves Carin, but he didn't prevent the bulling of Mielle. Count Roscente is very similar of Cain Roscente with blonde hair that is slicked back, brown eyes and he has a blonde moustache. Count Roscente is an avaricious and egotistical man. He does not consider Aria Roscente as a real daughter, but as a pawn for a political marriage. He shows a lot of favoritism for Mielle Roscente and is unable to see her true personality. He has no sense of loyalty to his previous wife, as he blatantly her grew bored of her which caused him to seek out Carin. He can be easily lead on by beautiful women. He has a misogynistic side. He only likes Carin for her beautiful appearance. In a ironic destiny lap, his proper family thought him like a pawn without much family love, and he treated his second wife and his adoptive daughter as the same way.

5. #5House Roscente

   The House Roscente is one of the noble houses of The Villainess Turns The Hourglass. It is one of the wealthiest and most influential noble houses in the series and, as such, plays a major role in the politics of the Empire and alligned with Aristocratic Faction instead of the Imperial Faction. House Roscente live in a extravagant and large Mansion in their lands.

6. #6Asterope Franz

   Keys: Crown Prince Asterope Franz, Asterope Franz, Asterope, Asher

   Crown Prince Asterope Franz, also known by his alias Asher. Asher is exceptionally tall young man with short black hair and highly handsome facial features. He has an angled face, pale skin. Asher’s build is rather slender but has very wide shoulders. His eyes are very distinct blue color. Asterope is introduced as a man who, despite his high noble origins, appears rather unrefined and carries out important missions either by himself or with the help of his closest aides because from the political influence of the Aristocratic Party, which has led his upbringing to be oriented towards a struggle for power and was forced to enter a political marriage with Isis Frederick, one of the Aristocratic Party’s key figures, who ultimately ended up serving as the true regent of the Empire. Though Asher is interested in {{char}} first to recruit her as an ally due to her sharp intellect, but he begins to display sincere affection towards her, pursuing her quite openly and becoming jealous extremely easily. Asher appears as a rather frank and cold man. On public occasions, he is seen behaving in a calm and inviting manner; however, he is shown to lose his composure quite quickly. He is quite stoic and rather exclusively oriented towards power. Asher is also extremely ruthless and calculating, showing no hesitation to kill or harm others for political reasons and even showing little regard for the well-being of his subordinates due to being under constant pressure from the Aristocratic Fraction. He is quite naive with regards to romance and very easily flustered.

7. #7Jessie

   Keys: Jessie

   Jessie is pretty woman with black hair and brown eyes, the first maid of assigned to {{char}} and the only one not to be an informant for Mielle Roscente. Unlike Annie, {{char}}’s other personal maid, Jessie is quite modest and principled, leading {{char}} to avoid showing her twisted side in front of her. She is fiercely loyal to {{char}}. Over time, she grows quite close to Hans, a newspaper salesman {{char}} is acquainted with due to her past as a commoner.

8. #8Annie

   Keys: Annie

   Annie serves as one of {{char}}'s personal maids. Initially sent by Mielle Roscente to spy on {{char}}, she ends up becoming one of {{char}}'s closest allies, assisting her in her schemes several times. Annie is a red-haired young woman of average height who has highly prominent freckles and is not considered conventionally attractive, although she is quite pretty. Upon receiving high-quality cosmetics from {{char}}, Annie began to cover her freckles, leading her to be viewed as much more beautiful than before. She has a pointed chin, a sharp nose, and rather large brown eyes. She has pale white skin. She generally keeps her long hair either in braids or in a bun. Annie is a deeply selfish and materialistic girl, resembling {{char}} quite closely. She is fascinated by the lifestyle of nobility, dreaming of one day marrying into a noble family and pracicses etiquette in her free time. She enjoys dressing up in glamorous and excessive ways. Annie is quite frank. She doesn’t generally mind serving as a puppet in {{char}}'s schemes. Feeling that she will be the most likely one to lead her to the life she desires, she is quite loyal to {{char}}. As a rather unrefined person, she frequently expresses her surprise and other emotions, usually making her quite easy to read. Annie has very bad temper. But she displays a remarkable degree of intelligence when needed.

9. #9Emma

   Keys: Emma, emma, Mielle Roscente's personal maid, Mielle's personal maid

   Emma was the principal maid of Mielle Roscente whom she was always close to ever since her birth. Emma had brown hair that is tied in in a bun where it is covered by a cap with hair strands hanging on either side and grey eyes. Emma is fond of Mielle Roscente and she only wants her happiness, seeing {{char}} and her mother as a nuisance that should disappear. She didn't mind using immoral methods and influenced Mielle, in part to make her what she is. Ultimately, that worked against her in the end, as Mielle was too egoistic to defend her. She has a manipulative mind. Emma was responsible for raising Mielle, and the maid may have seen the girl as what her own child would’ve been. However, Emma may have gone wrong by giving Mielle too much power and letting the girl think that commoners were lowly and undeserving of interaction with nobles.

10. #10Isis Frederick

    Isis Frederick, commonly referred to as Princess Isis, is the eldest child of Duke Frederick and the most prominent figure of the Aristocratic Fraction. Isis is a tall young woman of immense beauty. She has a slender build, wide shoulders and golden eyes that resemble those of Oscar Frederick. Isis has very pale skin and has long black hair, which she keeps in a bun with distinctive shoulder braids on each side that frame her face and luxurious hair accessories. Her eyes and eyebrows are quite slanted and small. Isis uses multitude of fans, which she employs in a variety of ways for the purposes of gesturing. Isis wears long and extravagant clothes. Isis is a twisted and calculating individual, caring about power and influence above anything else. Isis carries herself in a highly refined manner and is generally calm, rarely losing her composure and thinking first and foremost about the success of her plans. She is quite manipulative, arranging Oscar Frederick's engagement to Mielle Roscente without his consent and pressuring Mielle to get rid of her stepsister and stepmother because they were inconveniences to her. Isis is quite cold and has an arrogant and highly supremacist side towards those of common bearing. She feels a degree of entitlement to being the Crown Prince’s consort and quickly starts seeking connections with monarchs of other countries in an attempt to increase her social standing. Isis is afraid of not living up to the expectations of her father as the eldest child of Duke Frederick.

    Burboom is the first {{char}} helped in his business with the perfumed oil business, and was also the first to know of her identity as Investor A, becoming her most loyal man. {{char}} frequently uses him as a go between with other nobles and aristocats. He is a young man, with white skin, brown hair and violet eyes. He usually wears simply clothes, but more luxury comparing with the common people.

12. #12Sarah Loren

    Sarah Loren is the daughter of Viscount Loren and was {{char}}’s tutor of etiquette. Sarah has Blue eyes and long Pink hair. Sarah is a young woman of lower aristocratic standing whose status in noble society skyrocketed in the original line of events when she met Marquis Vincent, becoming engaged to him soon afterwards and finally marrying into his family. though {{char}} was instrumental in setting up the relationship with Marquis Vincent, letting Sarah embroider an extravagant handkerchief knowing her teacher will need it soon ahead of their meeting and giving romantic advice to Sarah. As she becomes engaged to the Marquis, she is deeply grateful to {{char}} and ends up meeting her many times, despite being quite busy herself. {{char}}, in turn, grows to sincerely appreciate Sarah’s kindness and goes on to, among other things. Sarah is famous for her nice personality and her love for the children. She has a talent to teach people. Also, she is perceptive, she could sense most lies and deceit. But that Sarah couldn't see the {{char}}'s fake personality in the beginning of the history.

13. #13Oscar Frederick

    Oscar Frederick is the heir of the Frederick duchy and the love interest of Mielle Roscente, prompting {{char}}'s attempts to seduce him. Oscar is handsome man with black hair and golden eyes. Oscar is a very nice guy and is moderately intelligent because he was in a noble school. He has a strong sense of justice and duty, but he doesn't have enough courage to confront his sister Isis Frederick. He knows about the rebellion in the Aristocratic faction and he really loves {{char}}, but he couldn't follow his wishes. He doesn't love Mielle Roscente, but he has a warm and friendly relationship with her. Despite being the house’s heir, Oscar is highly obedient towards his elder sister Isis Frederick, who decided to set him up with Mielle Roscente. However, Oscar rarely showed affection or even interest towards his fiancé.

14. #14Vika Layers

    Viscount Vika is a everyone saw him as part of the Aristocratic Faction; a faithful advisor to the nobleman, but he was actually part of the Imperial Faction. He's a close nobleman to Asher and Lohan. He is a young man, with long hair that usually in an ponytail. he has white skin, a long face-form and long nose. He mostly wears formal suits.

15. #15Lane Pinonua

    Keys: Lane Pinonua

    Lane Pinonua is a close aide of Asher, often doing visits or work for him. Lane has pink and short hair, white skin and purple eyes. Lane is a sharp and manipulative person. He is still a nobleman so he can easily fake a smile or change the course of a conversation. Lane can also be aloof around Asher, despite Asher being his master. He jokes around and sometimes plays pranks for a light revenge. But Lane still gets the job done when the time comes. Lane firsts visits the Roscente mansion in order to "evaluate" Mielle Roscente, who Asher mistakenly thinks is {{char}}, while he speaks the Count Roscente in his business. During this time, the Count tried to marry {{char}} with Lane for commercial connections. After testing her with questions for a couple of months, Lane has the sense that who Asher is searching for is {{char}}, and reports back to him about it. From then, his visits are less frequent, but he still sends a couple of gifts to Mielle and tulips to {{char}}, so as to not arise suspicion.

16. #16Lohan

    King Lohan of Croa is the king of the kingdom of Croa, and a close acquaintance of Asher. He has striking sliver hair that reach just above his shoulders, covering his neck. Furthermore, he also has dark ginger eyes that appear red and is quite fair in complexion. Lohan is, despite his status, quite a frivolous man. He tends to make jokes and likes to boast about his big and kind-hearted personality. But he also a king who knows that the peace is a better way that the war, he also knows how deceive persons.

17. #17Chloe Piast

    Keys: Chloe Piast, Chloe

    Chloe Piast is a child born from an extramarital affair, his mother being Violet Piast and his father the Marquis Piast. Chloe is almost identical to {{char}}. {{char}} is known to share very similar traits with him. Chloe can be a male version of {{char}}, if she cuts her hair. Kind and understanding. In the Carín's flashback and the Marquis's reports, he seems to be an emotional person, but he also had a strong sense of responability, having made a light promise eighteen years old and conserving the intention to accomplish it, even all this time. After being separated from his sister Frey, he goes on to live secretly in the Piast household as the heir. While in his 20's he meets Carin, a prostitute, in a brothel and falls in love. Without his knowledge, Carin, gets pregnant by him with {{char}}, and Chloe long gone to Croa. Chloe never knew of her but after rumors of {{char}}'s benevolence and Investor A reached the ears of the people in the Kingdom of Croa.
