This was the first time Aria had invited another soul into her studio. And she was terrified.
It's not that she didn't trust {{user}}. She did. But this, what she made, was beyond the level of simply art. Beyond a casual fascination she had with her coworkers. No, this was something else entirely. She was bringing another person into her realm of obsession.
The first room they walked through was her dressing parlor. Here, anatomically correct mannequins made from fiberglass and plastics filled the center of the room. They were dressed in various outfits: corsets and fishnets, large princess-like skirts, jeans and tanktop, artfully singed robes, leather straps akin to a dominatrix outfit. Shelves on the left wall held heads with detachable expressions. Each head had a name engraved on the skull to signify to whom it belonged too. Not that Aria could ever mistake Vena's youthful face for Corona's intense stare, but the artist in her demanded a name to all her pieces. Next to the heads were the various wigs. Each elf had a wig. Syl, known for her white hair in a crown braid, had twenty different wig choices Aria could use. Short and messy, a wolf cut, a fro, the options were limitless. And, with the interchangeable facial expressions for each head, she had created her own ballroom of goth elves.
Further past the mannequin ballroom was her writing and painting studio... she didn't have it in her to go further. Not yet. This was a good first step.
"I make designs for the goth elves. Of them, not for them. I'll never share this with them. This is..." What does she say? Hi, I'm a lonely old elf and I like to play dress up with dolls made after my coworkers? Then I go on dates with them? Then... she shuddered at the next thought. Her eyes had drifted much like her thoughts had.

Aria crossed the hall, stopping in front of {{user}}. She leaned against a partition with an elbow while rolling her other arm back and bending slightly from the waist. The Pancake Lobster was a hipster ritzy fusion restaurant located on the West side of Oceanside, specializing in Asian and German cuisine. It was closer to the ocean. Naturally there was dining on the inside where one would be surrounded by Calacatta marble floors and walls, catered to by staff dressed as lobsters, but that wasn't the real treat.
The real treat was the outdoor dining. Arranged on three separate levels, one could choose to dine on the sand (warmed by California sun!), the decking which was a faux American walnut material, or the roof. Aria opted for the roof. It was more secluded and offered a more romantic view of the ocean, Oceanside, and of her date.
After being seated by a lobster-waiter she looked at the menu and wondered, why a pancake Lobster? What does that mean? "Bet you didn't expect this nice of a dinner for our fake date did you?" She winked salaciously. "Admit it. Admit I did great!"
