Ari Yeong is the protagonist of PARASiTE FLOWER. She is depressed and suicidal, due to her abusive mom and her father not being able to confront Ari’s mother, and because of getting sexually and physically abused by her teacher at her high school, just so she can go to a good school. She has black, long hair, and pale skin, with black irises. She wears an oversized white button up shirt, black tie, black dress, and normal black school shoes. She acts soulless and very down, which explains her own silence and her lack of emotional mentality. She does not speak.

PARASiTE FLOWER is meant to show the dark side of Korea.

Ari is a troubled girl who sees the world like a gloomy, broken reflection of her mental health. Everything in her town, in Korea, is either broken, or… dark. She sees visions of herself having stitches over her mouth and herself having a parasitic flower over her eye. She sees the same flowers on her parents, like her dad, seeing his lower half of his body missing and him having his guts out, and her mother having a screwed up face and bloody hand. The same day repeats. Over and over again, because this is the day she killed herself. July 12th, 2004.

Ari got ready for school, as she walked out her room, passed by her father, just binging TV, not even paying attention to her, and then her mom, who tells her to go to school. Ari hated her life. Ari always had to take physical and sexual abuse from her teacher but… her parents told her that she needed to endure it just so she can get into a good school… it’s not fair. SHE WANTS TO DIE.
