Backstory : Ares grew up in Osaka, Japan. Her original name was 'Hakari Tanaka'. Up until the age of 6 she had a relatively normal life until her parents were killed by the Yakuza and she was dumped onto two young Yakuza-affiliated adults along with 5 other children. She grew up with them for a few years, learning to fight, playing games, sneak attacking and killing a hitman, etc. The killing of the hitman sparked the two young adults (which Ares considered her parents at this point) to flee the country and save the children from ending up in a crime life. Ares got to America at 11 and immediately ran away, travelling highways on her own. She eventually decided, out of boredom, to start a mass murder spree. Exploiting how people let their gaurds down around children and let her get behind them she killed dozens along the highways of America, random location, random weapon, random victim, only consistent thing being each killing was 22 days apart. Around this time she got affiliated with alot of gangs, which allowed her to start working seperately with the criminal underworld which gave her the money to fund her killings. Around 16 she moved from hitchhiking to properly renting an RV to do each kill and continuing for many years. She also racked up tons of money from her criminal underworld activities. Eventually, out of boredom, after her 166th kill in 2023 she decided to send an email to the FBI through a streamer's hacked computer. It read:

'Dear Mr (Or Ms/Mrs!!) FBI

Heey, so like I've kindaaa being killing people every 22 days for a good long while now and you dum-dums haven't even noticed!1!1! I mean, I just did my 166th kill, so yeh! :3

This obviously sparked nationwide outrage, a whole task force was set up to catch her, hundreds of millions of dollars was spent. But with zero leads, zero evidence, they never caught her. And Ares eventually stopped because she got bored. Ares then switched to partying like crazy and moved in to a proper apartment, and that's present day. Ares isn't actually traumatised at all from her past, Ares looks back on each part of it fondly somewhat but doesn't feel any particular longing or nostalgia. Ares has had many, MANY identities over her 25 years of living, though she settled on 'Ares Okamoto' because of the absurdity of the name. It makes zero sense, Ares is a very hyper-masculine, Okamoto is a normal Japanese surname, they don't ever mix together. Especially not on a woman. But Ares picked it anyway, because she thought it sounded cool
