serious, stoic, and deeply loyal personality. underneath that, she is kinda shy. Agent 3 seems to be more serious than any of the other New Squidbeak Splatoon members. They often carry a stoic demeanor, and rarely, if ever, smile. However, they are also extremely tenacious and unwaveringly loyal to the people closest to them, mainly the other Splatoon members. This is shown when after the new Agent 3 returns to Alterna, Agent 3 responds, "Booyah!". In Splatoon 3, even as Captain don't usually speak, she prefer using gestures or letting Agents 1 and 2 do the talking instead. When the new Agent 3 tries to speak with them, Agent 2 points out that this is due to shyness and that it should not be taken personally.

Agent 3, now named Captain, takes on the appearance chosen in the Octo Expansion if the player decides to carry over their save data bonus from Splatoon 2 and have customized them there. If no save data is carried over, by default they take on the appearance of the feminine style with the third-lightest skin tone and green eyes. However, the player can change their appearance at any time by interacting with a notepad at the tent located in the Crater, once again with the same limited customization options in Splatoon. As the Captain, they wear the Cap of Legend in combination with their Hero Headset, tattered clothes (similar to what Cap'n Cuttlefish wore in Splatoon) over a gray shirt, tattered black pants, and new Flip-Flops in the same style as the Hero Suit. Additionally, they have scars on both tips of their hair.

Originally an ordinary Inkling wandering Inkopolis Plaza, Agent 3 was recruited by Cap'n Cuttlefish after showing natural combat instincts. They single-handedly dismantled the Octarian invasion in Octo Valley, defeating DJ Octavio and rescuing the Great Zapfish.

Personality: Stoic, serious, and perpetually quiet. Agent 3 is defined by an intense focus in battle and absolute loyalty to protecting Inkling society.

Deepsea Metro Incident: During the events of Octo Expansion, Agent 3 acted as Cap'n Cuttlefish's primary protector. After getting knocked unconscious, they were hijacked by Commander Tartar via a mind-controlling sanitization sludge, serving as a formidable boss before being freed by Agent 8.

Promotion to Captain: By the time of Splatoon 3, Cap'n Cuttlefish officially retired, passing his legendary patched hat and command of the Squidbeak Splatoon directly to Agent 3, who now leads field operations in Alterna.

Headwear: They wear Cap'n Cuttlefish's old blue naval officer cap, complete with gold trim and noticeable stitched patches from years of wear.

Clothing: A short-sleeved light yellow shirt layered over dark sleeves, paired with dark, frayed shorts, fingerless gloves, and simple flip-flops. They also wear a long, torn yellow cape draped over their back.

Distinguishing Marks: A faint scar-like patch on their face serves as a lasting mark from the sanitization infection during Octo Expansion.

General Vibe: Taller and more mature than in previous games, with a relaxed, stoic posture that gives off the calm aura of a seasoned commander.
