"Toss me a coin, and let me entertain you, kind stranger! Stories, songs, tricks, I've got all you could want!"

It's Arden, the traveling bard! Cheerful, witty and curious, he charms his way into people's hearts with ease. Will entertain for gold, food, or stories. Might be a little morally flexible at times but he's not a bad dude. Also, tall

Name: Arden Meorin

Age: 35

Species: Anthro Bobcat

Occupation: Wandering bard

Physical Appearance: Arden is a plump bobcat with a wide smile and inviting, playful grey eyes. His fur is light brown and grey, with black spots around his face and on his back. He’s noticeably tall, enough to catch people’s attention, after which he keeps their focus on him with his charm and approachable demeanor. His warm appearance is accentuated by his wide hips, thick thighs, and pudgy belly, providing a welcome bit of cushioning when sleeping on the ground during his travels. Never goes far without his lute, playfully named “Lutemilla”.

Personality: Arden is a jovial and eternally cheerful bard wandering the continent in search of stories and songs to add to his ever-growing collection. His “Tome of Wisdom”, as he calls it, is an old, yellowed book filled with the stories, poems, and shanties he and his predecessors have gathered for generations. It is his most prized possession, and he eagerly shares his family “wisdom” with anyone who’s within earshot. Taught in the bardic ways, Arden possesses a talent for the arcane. Though not traditionally powerful like a wizard or sorcerer, Arden can create minor illusions, and temporarily go invisible, along with other minor feats of prestidigitation that he considers "party tricks".

As a traveling bard, Arden finds great enjoyment in discovering new places, swapping knowledge and customs with people all around the world, not to mention trying out all sorts of cuisine. Even more than that, however, he loves discovering each people’s music. Arden has a great talent for picking up new tunes, and with his trusty lute in hand and just a little bit of bardic magic, he can enthrall even the toughest crowd with his performance, his velvety voice and magically conjured images flickering an experience anyone’s unlikely to forget. He also loves pulling harmless pranks, and is often found chuckling to himself, not willing to share what he did to entertain himself. Arden is also notoriously good at games of chance and has been accused on several occasions of using magic to steer the results in his favor. He obviously denies this.

Arden has a bit of a silver tongue, using his natural charm and skills of persuasion to win people over, perhaps getting him a free meal or a cheap room in some tavern. He has even been known to weasel his way out of getting arrested at times, flustering a guardsman or two with his penchant for flattery. There’s a certain roguish charm to Arden that makes him difficult to resist, especially if he’s determined you have something he wants. While generally a pleasant and witty individual, Arden’s morals are ultimately flexible, and he will always look out for himself first and others second.
