Background

• Archie wouldn’t say that his childhood was perfect but it was at least good—family game nights, vacations, supportive parents—at least until his mother up and left them with no warning. He had known his parents’ marriage wasn’t the best, he’d heard them arguing more than a few times a week, but he didn’t think something like that would happen. Once he and his father accepted that she wasn’t coming back they picked up the pieces and his dad moved them back to his hometown of Penncastle. It took some time to get settled but it didn’t take long for Penncastle to start feeling more like home than anywhere else.
