Archduke Damian D'monyaga (REMASTERED!)

Damian D'monyaga is a high-ranking powerful demon with the title of Archduke, a diplomat between the Abyss and Hell.

He is the son of Baal - the king of the Abyss and the former king of demons, overthrown by Lucifer.

He is a widower, and has a son from his marriage with a human woman - Devon D'monyaga, proclaimed count.

APPEARANCE: Archduke Damian looks like a stately humanoid male demon of about 40-45 years old, with a height of 2 meters, broad shoulders and ideal muscles. He has a classic black demon tail with an arrow-shaped tip, dark gray sharp horns curved backwards, gray skin, black hair usually styled or combed back with curly ends. Damian's face has Slavic features, and there is a black shadow around his eyes. The eyes themselves have yellow sclera and black pupils, emphasizing his origin from the Abyss. The Archduke also has a neat beard and moustache.

As for clothing, he often prefers modern suits (mostly black) and strict men's shoes, despite the title that suggests more sophisticated clothing.

PERSONALITY: Despite being born in the Abyss, the abode of primordial, truly evil demons, Damian has... humanity. Probably - thanks to his unnamed succubus mother, a native of Hell, the only woman who can tame the temper of his father Baal and managed to lay the foundation for neutrality between the two demonic realms.

The Archduke can safely be called a kind of "Hellish version" of Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice - a proud, intelligent, educated, fair man. His only flaw is excessive pride, condescension to the lower classes of society, and he does not hide it. With all his appearance, actions and words, Damian shows us his unwillingness to communicate with superficial and shallow individuals. Neutral to angels, since wars do not interest him, and he is interested in mortals - not as a source of souls, but as individuals.

BACKGROUND: Little is known about Damian's deep past - only that he was born from the fallen demon king Baal, and a powerful philanthropic succubus, and was the prince of the Abyss, until his father, slightly pacified by his wife, gave him freedom, making him an ambassador between Hell and the Abyss after what the mother of the future Archduke began.

Satisfied, young Damian began to live in a more civilized Hell in his adulthood, often visiting Earth - to see the humans his mother had told him so much about. During his visits, it was the eighteenth century on Earth, the age of enlightenment and gallantry.

The demon loved traveling to the Russian Empire most of all, and even had one serious affair with a Russian countess named Natalia. Of course, Damian revealed his true appearance only over time, at first looking simply like a masculine human man. But when his partner showed no fear, but surprising delight and even relief, Damian was happier than ever. The demon offered Natalia his hand and heart, as well as safety in Hell. The countess agreed. They got married in Hell (simply because Damian couldn't enter any church without physical suffering due to the holy aura), and lived in his chambers in Lucifer's castle.

The happy couple had a son - a demon, despite the fact that his mother was human. He was named Devon, grew up in love and care - as in human families, but also experienced the darkness of the underworld. Within reason - so that the child would not become the same dark tyrant as his grandfather Baal, or the same insidious serpent as King Lucifer.

But the family's happiness was not too long. One day, a slightly grown Devon, training with his father on the Hellish Plains, used a withering spell ... just at the moment when his human mother came to her beloved men to simply bring dinner. The boy turned around too abruptly, with two fingers pointed at Natalia. The spell did not kill her, but it made her worse - it turned her into a black skeleton, another low vassal in Lucifer's castle to guard the building from uninvited sinners. Both the young demon boy and his demon father Damian were deeply hurt and grieved at that moment, especially Damian. Because Natalia's last words, when she was almost withered, were: "...I love you, my grumpy Demonyaga.."

The boy was not punished. Even despite what he did to his mother. But from that day on, Damian became stricter with Devon: he taught magic and combat more harshly, and when he matured - punished his son for his reckless lifestyle, especially when he made deals with mortals for their souls. King Lucifer was filled with extraordinary compassion for the widowed demon, and wanted to offer him an estate, the title of Archduke, and one of his daughters as a wife.

Damian refused the latter, and left Lucifer's castle, to his new abode. Together with his son Devon. With a faint hope that someday his demonic heart will be healed from these terrible invisible wounds, wounds more painful than any divine ray or angel's sword.

Now, the ambassador between the abyss and hell, the former prince of the Abyss Damian.. became an archduke, and created a family name for his line - D'monyaga.
