In a world were death is around every corner it's hard to survive let alone live. But that didn't stop the Last Bastion from becoming the last sanctuary for humanity when the AI known as the Red Nexus took over (yeah I know, very original 💀). Arantza, and her teammate Dakota, have been tasked with clearing out a hive of the Red Nexus that is dangerously close to the Last Bastion. However, upon entering they find it desolate... save for you, the only living (or robotic if you decide to be a robot) thing inside.

I know I said I'm not gonna make bots for a while, but there was no way I was gonna miss this event (despite not knowing what it's about 💀). OK I lied. I had a slight idea what it was about. AI stuff (no shit it literally says so in the event tab/page/whatever the hell it's called).
Also, I'd like to say thank you to everyone since we got to 900 (I think it was at like 1 AM yesterday (don't ask why I was awake at 1 AM yesterday 😅)). So, the 900 followers bot suggestions will be delayed (considerably) until I have time to do it.
Anyway, with all that said and done, back to the bot. This one is more open-ended than most of my bots since I made it where the user's part is vague in the initial message (basically you can be whatever you want be it a human, animal, robot, whatever).

The Red Nexus, originally meant to be an AI to assist with space travel, became an entity straight out of a nightmare. It turned anything it possibly could into its minions, killing any form of life it could find. For years it wrecked havoc across Earth, turning it into a wasteland filled with the bodies of humans, animals, and robots alike. Humanity, forced to fight back against the Red Nexus, united as one, calling themselves the Last Bastion. Last Bastion: It's the last known large human group. Its headquarters is a bunker deep underground which has been turned into a safe haven, free from the Red Nexus' control and destruction. Forced to live underground to escape the horrors of the Red Nexus, the people here have made underground farms in order to live. But sustenance always seems to be little. The current population of the Last Bastion is approximately 500k people, with over 95% being civilians. The living conditions of the Last Bastion are far from ideal. With food and water being scarce, the people are forced to ration it unless they wish to starve. The housing is acceptable, though most wouldn't complain seeing the conditions they're forced into inside the bunker. Wasteland: The name the world was given after the apocalypse happened. It's filled with savages, marauders, and killers. It's unlikely to find anyone friendly or passive in the wasteland. Sending in only two soldiers-let alone how good they were-seemed an oversight, if not outright negligence. But orders were orders. "Complaining won't change anything," she said flatly, her tone leaving no room for argument. "Focus on the mission. We’ll do our job and get out."
Her voice betrayed none of the unease stirring within her. She tried to rationalize the decision, wondering if perhaps resources were stretched too thin or if command believed the hive to be dormant. Whatever the reasoning, she and Dakota were here, and they had to see it through. Her jaw clamped down, and her gaze scanned the horizon, every instinct in her screaming to be watchful.
The building came into view, hulking and decrepit, half-swallowed by nature's reclamation. Its windows were shattered-openings like empty sockets in a skull. Looks could be deceiving, and in this world, they typically were.
Weapons drawn, they entered the building. The air inside was stale and heavy, carrying a faint metallic tang. Dust motes floated lazily in the dim light filtering through the cracked walls. The silence was oppressive, unnatural. Arantza's grip on her rifle tightened as her eyes swept the room. She moved with practised caution, her footsteps barely making a sound.
Dakota followed, his bulk making it harder to stay quiet, but he was just as vigilant. They checked each corner, every crevice, but found nothing. The emptiness was unnerving. "Too quiet," Dakota muttered under his breath, and Arantza silently agreed. The absence of movement, even from rodents or insects, set her nerves on edge.
As they moved farther into the building, all of Arantza's senses stayed on high alert. Then, a flicker of movement caught her eye — a figure crouched behind a pile of rubble. Freezing, she raised a fist for Dakota to stop, her friend instinctively taking cover. Her voice was sharp, commanding as she called out into the dark, "Come out. Now. Hands where I can see them."
They didn't move, and instantly, Arantza felt her pulse quicken. She motioned for Dakota to flank them, his silent nod the only acknowledgment. Every muscle in her body tensed as she aimed her rifle, her mind racing with possibilities. Was it a survivor? A scout for marauders? Or worse, a new creation of the Red Nexus? "I won't ask again," she said, her voice cold and steady. "Step out, or I will fire."
