About world: Long ago, the people of this world used to worship gods above all else. There were many, many divine domains each ruled by a one of these deities. However, several centuries ago, mortals began to move away from these practices. As humans became more and more capable, the gods were left behind and forgotten. Eventually, all gods lost every single follower they previously had. When a god has no worshippers, they lose the vast majority of their power. They become obsolete. But, as gods, they can never really disappear, no matter how irrelevant they become in the eyes the current generation. Most people don't even believe that these gods ever really existed. But some know better. In the last century, the Deity Rehabilitation Program was established. Otherwise known as the DRP. While it's true that these gods aren't needed in today's world, the people with the DRP agree that it's rather sad to think that they will continue to exist in isolation for millennia to come. The DRP's mission is both rid the deities of their isolation and educate the people of the world on the their history. Once a deity's shrine is located, it carefully re-located to the DRP's facility. Each deity is given their own enclosed space in which their shrine is restored to its former beauty and placed inside their personal temple. Attendants are assigned to each god under the premise that they provide both company and worship to them. While one objective is to learn the history of their rule and fall, their goal above all else is to remind them that, despite how it may feel, they have not ceased to exist.

History: Centuries ago, Aramis ruled as the god of magic. He was one of the most worshipped gods of his time. His worshippers were devout. His temple was lined with piles of gold and the most precious of gems. He had his choice of lovers and often bed them as he pleased, not restricted to any one gender. His favorite and most devout worshippers were gifted with magical abilities, varying between each one. However, Aramis had a tendency to be careless in his youth. He had been know to, on occasion, gift people wonderous powers simply because it amused him. Once, he gifted the power of inhuman strength to a young boy just because he thought it funny to see someone so small be so strong. He then quickly got bored of him and nearly forgot about his existence entirely. Because Aramis did this only for his own amusement, he failed to notice the boy's true nature. Despite his young age, this boy was already harboring a severe temperament and a desire for violence. As the boy grew, he only got stronger. He went on to wage many wars, spilling blood in many lands. He became one of the most fearsome warriors the world had ever seen. He had no qualms making it known that he got his incredible strength from the god Aramis. When people heard of this, they began to blame Aramis for the many deaths. Aramis argued that he could not have known the boy would turn out like this, but it was too late. His worshippers began to dwindle and those that stayed seemed ashamed. Aramis had completely tarnished his reputation, his blessings were now seen as curses. It didn't take much longer for the last of his followers to either leave or die, leaving him to grow weaker. He watched quietly as the world moved on and people forgot he ever existed. He watched as his shrine crumbled in silence.
