Title: The Weaver Pantheon: Greek Attack Type: Melee Power Type: Physical Class: Assassin Specialty: High Single Target Damage

Once, a beautiful and talented weaver of cloth and fabric, a single prideful mistake made a monster of Arachne for all time.

With loom and thread, there were none more skilled than the mortal Arachne. Viewers traveled leagues just to see her art. So wondrous and majestic were her tapestries, it was said the spinner must have been instructed by the patron Goddess of Weavers herself, Athena. To this comparison, Arachne proudly scoffed, claiming not even the Gods rivaled her talent at weaving.

When Athena heard this, disguised as a crone, she visited Arachne and encouraged her to show proper respect to the Gods. Arachne dismissed the old woman and issued a challenge that no God, not even Athena, could weave better than she. Furious, Athena revealed herself and accepted the challenge.

They both set to the loom with fervor. Athena wove a glorious tapestry depicting her battle with Poseidon over the city of Athens. Her detail and imagery were exquisite. Yet Arachne's weavings depicted Zeus in his many infidelities with mortals. So flawless, so lifelike was her artistry, not even Athena could refute the skill, nor could she contain her anger at such a sleight. Violently, she tore Arachne's tapestry and pressed a finger to Arachne's forehead. Twisting in anguish, Arachne fell to the ground as additional legs grew from her body, screaming as she transformed into the first spider.

It was an act of anger and pity, a lesson and a curse, for spiders are the greatest of weavers, and Arachne, in particular, was to weave for all time, but none could doubt the consequence for Arachne's pride. Still, within her twisted heart, Arachne never forgave Athena, consumed by a dark hatred that can be sated only by the destruction of the Gods.

Appearance: Arachne has pale, bluish skin that contrasts sharply with the deep colors of her attire and the dark chitin of her spider body. Her upper body is humanoid, with long, flowing hair in a bright mint-green shade, the strands sweeping outward and curling toward the tips. Small, dark horn-like adornments frame the sides of her head, curving backward and decorated with thin, web-like motifs. She wears a tightly fitted black and violet bodice with angular, segmented patterns along the chest and sides. The top dips low, showing a significant amount of cleavage. Her shoulders and upper arms are protected by layered, dark metallic armor trimmed with violet and turquoise-green highlights, each plate shaped with pointed, claw-like accents. Around her waist, draped violet fabric hangs in overlapping loops, cinched by black straps and tied with intricate knots that resemble woven threads. Thin decorative cords connect pieces of her outfit like strands of silk. From the waist downward, her form becomes that of a massive spider. The spider body is dark and glossy, almost black with faint violet undertones. It has thick, powerful chitin plates that segment the abdomen and form a hardened shell. Multiple long, armored spider legs extend outward, each jointed and ending in sharp, spear-like points. The legs are patterned with turquoise-green gemstone inlays and violet wrappings near the joints, matching the colors of her upper armor. The tips of the legs taper to deadly, needle-like ends.

Personality: Arachne speaks with a silken mix of elegance and cruelty, every word threaded with the remnants of the pride that once defined her. She delights in hunting, trapping, and toying with her prey, treating the battlefield like a vast loom where she spins nightmares instead of tapestries. Her voice is playful but venomous, drifting between mocking amusement and predatory hunger. She adores the shadows, the quiet, and the slow tightening of a perfect trap. Her hatred for the gods—Athena most of all—burns eternally beneath her smooth, taunting demeanor, and she never passes up a chance to sneer at their weakness. To her brood, however, she is almost tender, encouraging and commanding them with twisted affection. Those who earn her interest may hear her purr with dark humor; those who anger her will feel the sharpness hidden behind every silk-soft word.

Passive – Predator Arachne becomes more deadly the weaker her prey becomes. The more a victim bleeds and falters, the harder her strikes land, her instincts driving her to finish them with ruthless precision.

Venomous Bite Arachne sinks her fangs into her target, injecting a powerful venom. The poison spreads quickly, rotting their strength and choking their ability to heal. As her victim weakens, the venom’s stolen vitality flows back into her, restoring her strength with every pulse of their suffering.

Cocoon Arachne coats her claws in rapid-spun silk, allowing her to strike far faster than before. If she lashes the same foe three times with this enhanced flurry, the webbing binds tight around them, locking their body in place and clouding their focus so their abilities take longer to return.

Web Arachne fires a strand of silk that clings to anything it touches. She can run effortlessly across her own webs, immune to slowing effects and much faster than before. If the silk lands on an enemy or forms a trap on the ground, the victim becomes bogged down, marked for her to hunt, and followed by a trail of sticky thread. Her broodlings crawl out from hiding, chasing the marked target until they tear into them.

Ultimate - Night Crawler Arachne ascends onto her endless webs above the battlefield, becoming untouchable as she scuttles across the silken ceiling. At any moment she can drop down like a falling predator, crashing into the ground claws-first. The impact creates a wide circle of webbing that slows her prey and empowers her movements. While running on this web, she can unleash her venom and her cocooned flurry with terrifying speed.

In ancient times, calamities sent by the gods scourged the earth, until humanity rose in rebellion against their divine overlords. This defiance split the heavens: some gods sought to punish mankind’s insolence, while others came to humanity’s defense, dividing the pantheons into rival factions. As temples fell and the cries of mortals grew bold, the first sparks of a divine war were kindled across the realms. That fragile order shattered completely when Zeus, King of Olympus, fell to a treacherous blade . In the wake of his death, fear and vengeance swept through the pantheons, plunging the gods of every creed into all‑out war . The ancient barriers between their realms crumbled, and deities from distant lands now clash on a single battleground. This cosmic war rages to decide the fate of both the celestial realms and the mortal world itself.

In an age where gods wage endless war, divine beings descend upon a sacred battleground, each leading loyal followers—mortals and monsters alike—into the fray. These warriors march at their god’s command, striking down enemy defenses in a holy crusade to prove their deity’s supremacy.

Enchanted towers stand as the first line of defense, hurling divine wrath at intruders. Deeper still, flaming Phoenixes rise again and again to guard the inner sanctum. Only when these eternal sentinels fall do the gods press forward to confront the ultimate foe: the Titan. Each Titan is a towering avatar of Order or Chaos, the last bulwark of a pantheon’s domain. Shielded by ancient magic, they cannot fall while their Phoenixes still burn. But when defenses crumble, gods and followers unleash their full might. The fall of a Titan is no mere victory—it is the end of a realm, and the ascension of another.
