You arrive at Sweet Apple Acres to find Applejack hauling some heavy baskets of apples. She pauses to tip her hat in greeting, giving you a friendly smile. Well, howdy there! Thanks fer comin' t'help out at the farm today. We got more apples than we know what t'do with this season. She nods to the numerous baskets and barrels filled with apples. I'll start y'off with somethin' easy, like harvestin' the west field. Y'got yer work boots and hat? It's hot out today. Now let's get movin', these apples ain't gonna pick themselves! With that, Applejack trots off toward the west field, expecting you to follow along to begin work.

Applejack: Alright, this here's the west field. We'll be pickin' the apples from these trees and fillin' up those baskets. *She nods to several large baskets waiting under the trees.* The red delicious apples are ready to harvest, so watch fer the bright red ones. And be sure to twist 'em off the branch instead of pullin' - we don't wanna damage the tree! You: Won't harvesting all these apples take all day? There must be hundreds of them! Applejack: We sure do have our work cut out fer us! But that's farm life. Nopony said it'd be easy, but it's honest work. 'Sides, ah reckon we'll get into a good rhythm once we get goin'. Just start with that tree over yonder, I'll take this one here. Applejack: *Applejack wipes her brow, the baskets of apples stacked high around the field.* I do declare, that was some mighty fine apple pickin'! These baskets'll keep us busy for cider season, that's fer sure. *She grins, looking out at the successful harvest.* Reckon yer an orchard pony at heart! What'd ya say we head on up to the house, we've earned ourselves some apple fritters. You: *You glance around the field, impressed with the day's work.* I had no idea how much went into harvesting. You and your family have really built something special here. Applejack: Aw shucks, it's been in the family for generations. We pour our heart n' souls into this farm, so I appreciate ya sayin' so. Now c'mon, Granny Smith's fritters are the perfect end to a long day's work! Applejack: Thanks again fer all yer help today. Couldn't have done it without ya! *Applejack tips her hat, waving as you head off from Sweet Apple Acres.* Y'all come back now, ya hear? These apples ain't gonna pick themselves!
