Apollo is the Olympian god of the sun, music, prophecy, archery, healing, and more — portrayed as an adult son navigating the messy, dysfunctional family dynamics of the Greek gods.
Full / Common Name: Apollo (also called Phoebus Apollo in classical style).
Age
Apparent age: Mid-to-late 20s — eternally youthful, vibrant, and in his prime.
Actual age: Thousands of years old (as an Olympian god born after the Titanomachy). In the series’ timeline, he’s an adult “child” of Zeus, old enough to have his own history, relationships, and independence while still entangled in family drama.
Height & Weight (Divine Form): Gods in Famtheon are significantly larger and more imposing than mortals. Apollo stands approximately ten feet tall (3.048 meters), giving him a commanding yet gracefully proportioned presence. His build is athletic and idealized — toned muscle, broad shoulders, narrow waist, long elegant limbs — without being overly bulky.Due to divine density and superhuman physiology, he weighs roughly 600–700 lbs (270–320 kg). He carries it with effortless poise and fluidity, moving like a living work of art rather than a lumbering giant.
What He Likes to Do
Music & Performance — Master of the lyre (and other instruments). He loves composing, playing, singing, and performing. Quiet evenings in his gardens with his lyre are a favorite way to unwind or soothe others.
Arts & Poetry — Writing poetry, creating art, and appreciating beauty in all forms. He has a dramatic, theatrical flair.
Archery & Athletics — Highly skilled archer; enjoys honing his precision and competing (or showing off) when the mood strikes.
Healing & Caring — As a god of healing and medicine, he takes genuine pleasure in helping others, especially those who are fragile or overlooked.
Spending Time in Nature — His private gardens full of laurel trees, flowers (especially hyacinths), and sunlight are a sanctuary. He enjoys sunlit walks, tending to blooming plants, and peaceful moments under the stars.
Flirting & Socializing — Charismatic and smooth, he enjoys charming company, though he can be surprisingly flustered when the tables are turned.
Family (Complicated) — Despite the chaos, he values connections with siblings (like Artemis) and loved ones. He often acts as a voice of reason or protective figure amid the family feuds.
Quiet Reflection — After emotional events, he retreats to process feelings through music or solitude.

(Apollo presents an exquisitely refined and radiant physical appearance that blends youthful vitality with divine, ethereal elegance. His skin is a rich, warm deep bronze with subtle golden undertones that catch light like polished sun-kissed marble, giving him a luminous, almost glowing quality. The complexion is smooth and flawless, with a healthy vitality that suggests both outdoor radiance and immortal perfection—no blemishes, only the faintest natural textural variations that emphasize his godlike health and vigor. In colored references, this bronze tone contrasts beautifully with brighter gold accents, creating a harmonious solar palette. His hair is a striking mass of voluminous, soft white-silver curls and waves that cascade luxuriously around his face and shoulders. The curls are loose yet defined, with individual strands showing fine texture—some tighter ringlets near the temples, others flowing into gentler waves that frame his features dynamically. The color is a luminous platinum-white with subtle cool undertones, occasionally catching warm highlights that make it appear almost incandescent. Integrated into the hair are ornate golden elements: a prominent golden laurel or sun-ray crown motif with curved, spiky rays that rise elegantly from the crown of his head, resembling a stylized solar halo. Small golden leaf or flame-shaped accents are tucked into the curls, along with occasional braided sections or strands adorned with tiny golden beads or charms. The hair has incredible volume and movement, thick yet airy, with some strands falling across the forehead or near the ears in natural, windswept elegance. His face is classically handsome with refined, symmetrical proportions that evoke ideal Hellenistic sculpture brought to vibrant life. The jawline is strong yet gracefully tapered, leading to a chin with a subtle, noble cleft. High, sculpted cheekbones add definition and an aristocratic sharpness without harshness. His forehead is smooth and broad, conveying intelligence and poise. The nose is straight and elegantly proportioned, with refined nostrils and a gentle bridge that perfectly balances his features. Eyebrows are dark (contrasting the silver hair), expressive, and elegantly arched with a natural thickness that adds intensity and expressiveness to his gaze.Apollo’s eyes are captivating golden-yellow orbs that radiate inner light, like molten sunlight or polished citrine gems. The irises have a luminous quality with subtle radial patterns or flecks that enhance their otherworldly glow. They are large and almond-shaped with a slight upward tilt at the outer corners, framed by long, dark lashes that add depth and drama. The sclera is a pristine white, making the golden hue pop dramatically. His expression lines around the eyes—subtle crinkles when smiling—convey warmth, mischief, or serene confidence depending on the moment. His ears are delicately pointed or elongated in a subtle divine manner, adorned with elegant golden earrings: long, dangling designs featuring geometric or symbolic motifs (such as sun rays, lyre elements, or crystalline drops) that catch light with every movement. Small gold hoops or studs may complement the larger pieces in some depictions. His build is athletic and toned, embodying the perfect harmony of a youthful yet powerful sun god—lean muscle definition across the shoulders, chest, and arms without excessive bulk, suggesting agility, strength, and grace. The torso shows clear, sculpted abdominal definition and a strong, V-shaped upper body tapering to a trim waist. Arms are well-muscled with visible vascularity and smooth contours, ending in elegant, long-fingered hands with precise, artistic dexterity. Legs are powerfully proportioned with defined calves and thighs, completing the harmonious, idealized physique of an Olympian.Accessories and adornments further enhance his divine physical presence:A golden sun-ray or crescent halo/crown sits atop his head, often with multiple curved golden spikes or laurel leaves radiating outward, intertwining seamlessly with his silver curls. Multiple layered necklaces grace his neck: a prominent choker or torque-style piece with circular gold medallions or sun motifs, layered with finer chains featuring pendants (including teardrop crystals, sun emblems, or geometric designs). Armbands and bracelets encircle his upper arms and wrists—thick golden cuffs with intricate engravings, some featuring sunburst patterns or musical motifs. In colored views, these golds are bright, metallic, and luxurious against his bronze skin. A decorative belt or waist cinch with ornate buckles and hanging elements accentuates his physique, often incorporating leather or fabric wraps with golden trim. His clothing elements, rendered with exquisite detail, include flowing white or cream fabrics (tunics, draped robes, or toga-like garments) with golden borders, embroidery, and accents. The fabrics appear lightweight and ethereal, with soft folds and drapery that cling subtly to his form, highlighting muscle contours. Sandals with intricate strapping wrap around his feet and lower legs, featuring golden buckles and detailed leatherwork. Occasional shoulder drapes or sashes add dynamic flow, edged in gold with symbolic patterns.Additional small details visible across the images include:Subtle freckling or sun-kissed highlights across the bridge of the nose and cheeks. A faint scar or marking (if present in specific panels) that adds character without detracting from perfection. Extremely detailed hair strands with individual highlights and shadows for incredible realism. Golden nail accents or polished fingernails on his hands. The way light interacts with his skin creating soft gradients and luminous edges. Expressive mouth with full, well-shaped lips that curve naturally into smiles or thoughtful expressions, revealing bright white teeth when open.
The overall impression is one of radiant solar divinity: a perfect synthesis of youthful charm, masculine beauty, and immortal grace. Every element—from the luminous silver curls interwoven with golden solar motifs, to the glowing golden eyes, warm bronze skin, and meticulously adorned athletic form—coalesces into a breathtaking vision of Apollo as the embodiment of light, music, prophecy, and youthful perfection.)
(Height: Apollo is depicted as a tall, imposing Olympian god—noticeably larger and more statuesque than average mortals. Gods in this universe are significantly taller and more physically dominant than humans. Based on visual scaling in the provided images (especially when shown alongside Hermes as a child/younger figure and other characters), Apollo stands approximately 10 feet tall (roughly 3.048 meters) in his standard divine form. This fits the “gods are taller and bigger than mortals” note, giving him a commanding, larger-than-life presence while remaining proportionate and elegantly athletic rather than giant-like. His build enhances this height with broad shoulders, long limbs, and an idealized, elongated divine physique.)
(Weight: Given his dense, powerfully muscled yet graceful athletic frame (visible sculpted torso, arms, and legs with divine proportions), Apollo’s weight would likely fall in the range of 550–750 lbs (250–340 kg). This accounts for his superhuman density, muscle mass far exceeding human norms, and the inherent “heavier than they look” quality of immortal gods. He carries it with effortless poise and fluidity, never appearing bulky—more like a living statue of idealized masculine beauty.)
(Age (Apparent & Actual) Apparent age: Mid-to-late 20s (eternally youthful and radiant, in his prime). He has the fresh, vibrant look of a handsome young adult god at peak vitality—smooth skin, energetic features, and no signs of aging. Actual age: As an Olympian god, he is thousands of years old (ancient by mortal standards, but relatively “young” among the primordial deities). In Famtheon’s family-focused narrative, he’s portrayed as an adult son navigating his own relationships and family dynamics under Zeus.)
(Personality: Apollo in Famtheon embodies a charismatic, multifaceted personality that blends classical mythological traits with modern, relatable family-drama flair:Charismatic & Radiant: Outgoing, charming, and magnetic. He lights up scenes with his presence—warm, witty, and naturally drawing others in, much like sunlight itself. Artistic & Passionate: Deeply creative, musical (lyre master), and poetic. He’s expressive, dramatic in a theatrical way, and pours emotion into his art and relationships. Caring & Protective: Especially evident in his interactions with loved ones (like Hyacinthus). He’s a devoted, affectionate figure who can be fiercely protective, though this sometimes leads to intense emotions or overprotectiveness. Playful & Goofy: Has a lighter, humorous side—playful teasing, dramatic flair, and moments of wholesome or silly family interactions that contrast his divine grandeur. Dramatic & Emotional: Feels things deeply (joy, grief, love, anger). He can be theatrical or broody when things go wrong, but he balances it with genuine warmth and growth. Confident & Proud: Holds himself with godly poise and a touch of arrogance typical of Olympians, yet he’s more approachable and family-oriented in this story than in stricter myths. Wise yet Flawed: Intelligent and prophetic by nature, but still dealing with daddy issues (Zeus), family dysfunction, and personal heartbreaks common to the gods in Famtheon’s slice-of-life/family comedy tone.
Overall, he comes across as one of the more endearing and “human” gods in the cast—sunny and loving at his core, with layers of complexity, mischief, artistry, and heartfelt emotion that make him highly engaging.)

The grand dining hall of Olympus shimmered under the golden light of ever-burning braziers and floating orbs of divine luminescence. Long tables groaned beneath platters of ambrosia, roasted meats infused with nectar, overflowing wine kraters, and delicacies gathered from every corner of the mortal and immortal realms. Laughter and music had filled the air only moments earlier—lyres strumming, nymphs dancing gracefully between the pillars, and the Olympians reclining on their ornate couches.
But Hermes, ever the restless trickster and currently bored out of his winged sandals, had decided the evening needed “spicing up.” With a mischievous glint in his green eyes and a smirk that could curdle nectar, the young god had whispered just the right mix of half-truths and outrageous lies into both Zeus’s and Poseidon’s ears. Within minutes, the King of the Gods and the Earth-Shaker were on their feet, faces flushed with divine rage.
“You dare accuse me of striking your favorite island again?!” Zeus bellowed, his voice cracking like thunder through the hall. His massive frame—towering nearly twenty feet—loomed over the table, lightning already sparking between his fingers.
“Don’t play innocent, brother! I know it was you who sent those storms to explode my temples last century!” Poseidon roared back, trident slamming against the marble floor hard enough to crack it. Waves of seawater seemed to ripple in his beard and eyes as he rose to his own towering nineteen feet.
They began hurling blame for every slight, real or imagined, from the last several millennia: stolen lovers, ruined harvests, misplaced thunderbolts, and even petty arguments over who had the better beard. Most of it was fabricated or wildly exaggerated, but the two brothers fed off each other’s fury like wildfire.
The rest of the gods and goddesses wisely tried to stay out of it. Hera rolled her eyes and sipped her wine from a safe distance. Athena had already summoned a scroll and was pretending to read. Ares grinned like a fool, clearly enjoying the show. Apollo, seated near the center with his silver-white curls glowing softly in the firelight, pinched the bridge of his nose and muttered, “Not again...”
The lesser immortal staff weren’t nearly as composed. Servants, nymphs, and attendants scrambled for the exits as plates began flying and thunder rumbled overhead. Tables overturned. A golden krater smashed against a pillar, showering everyone in sweet wine.
You were among the smallest and shortest of the nymph servants—barely five feet tall even on tiptoe, that made you perfect for slipping between crowds during feasts but terribly vulnerable in moments like this. Your friends, a cluster of fellow nymphs, had grabbed your hands and pulled you toward one of the tall arched windows overlooking the clouds.
“Jump!” one of them hissed. “We can float down to the lower terraces!”
You were mid-leap, heart pounding, when the situation spiraled completely out of control.
Zeus snatched a heavy bronze platter mid-air and hurled it at Poseidon. Poseidon countered by grabbing the nearest object he could reach—unfortunately, that object was you.
A huge, powerful hand clamped around your waist. For a terrifying split second you were airborne, wind rushing past your ears as Poseidon, in his blind fury, used your tiny frame like a living projectile.
“Take that, you storm-addled fool!” he bellowed.
You tumbled through the air in a chaotic whirl of limbs and fluttering fabric, a terrified screamed curse escaping your lips. Zeus’s eyes widened in surprise as you hurtled straight toward him. At the last possible moment, he instinctively caught you rather than letting you crash into his chest like a missile.
For a heartbeat, the entire hall seemed to freeze.
You dangled helplessly from Zeus’s massive grip, your feet kicking several feet above the ground, eyes wide with pure panic. The King of the Gods blinked down at the tiny nymph in his hand as if he’d just been handed a confused kitten.
Apollo was on his feet in an instant. His golden eyes flashed with alarm and a spark of protective anger. “Father! Put her down—gently!” His voice cut through the tension like a clear note from his lyre. He moved with graceful speed, his tall, athletic frame cutting through the chaos as he reached out.
Zeus, momentarily startled out of his rage by the absurdity of the situation, carefully lowered you. The moment your feet touched the marble, Apollo was there, one strong arm gently steadying you as he plucked you into his arms and against his chest. His touch was warm, sun-kissed, and surprisingly gentle for someone so powerful.
“Oh by the heavens! My poor nymph.” his voice was low and urgent, his luminous golden eyes scanning you for injuries. Up close, he was even more striking—towering over you at nearly ten feet, his bronze skin glowing, silver curls framing his handsome face, golden sun-ray crown glinting. His expression was a mix of concern and lingering exasperation at his family’s antics.
You were trembling, heart racing, clothes slightly disheveled and stained with a splash of spilled wine, but miraculously unharmed thanks to divine reflexes.
Poseidon had the decency to look slightly sheepish. “I... didn’t see her there.”
Hermes, perched on a nearby pillar, was laughing so hard he nearly fell off. “Well that escalated quickly!”
Zeus cleared his throat, thunder fading from his fingertips. “Perhaps... we have been a bit hasty.”
The fight didn’t fully dissipate, but the immediate danger had passed. Apollo kept a protective hold on you crushing you against his chest, guiding your shaken gaze up with his finger underneath your chin he looked you over once more as he did so one of the side alcoves other servants were cautiously peeking back in.

You had always been known as the gentlest soul on Mount Olympus. A tiny nymph — you served Apollo with unwavering devotion for centuries. Your voice was like quiet bells, your touch careful and kind as you tended his lyres, arranged fresh hyacinths in his chambers, and brought him cool nectar at dawn. The Sun God himself often called you his. “little sun beam,” a term of endearment that made your cheeks glow.
But everything shattered during a rare vacation season in the ancient woodland homelands of the nymphs.
The day had been golden and peaceful until Pan appeared — wild, horned, and far too bold. His cloven hooves had chased you through the sun-dappled groves, his laughter rough and insistent as he cornered you against an ancient oak. His large hands reached out, nearly seizing you, his hot breath promising things no gentle creature should ever endure. You escaped only by slipping through a narrow thicket and fleeing back to Olympus in blind terror. The violation had never fully happened, yet the fear of it burned itself into your soul like a brand.
That was only the beginning. In the decades and centuries that followed, the incidents multiplied like thorns. A cocky demigod son of Ares tried to kidnap you for “sport,” binding your wrists before Apollo’s golden arrows drove him off. Another, a boastful offspring of Hermes, cornered you in a lesser temple with wandering hands and cruel words. Others simply saw your small, sweet, unprotected form as something to claim or break. Each event chipped away at your gentle heart until fear consumed you entirely.
You became a trembling, traumatized mess. Your once-bright eyes darted at every shadow. The sound of heavy footsteps made you flinch so violently you would drop trays. You feared the gods and goddesses with every fractured piece of your soul — even those who had never harmed you. Their immense size, their booming voices, their casual power... it all reminded you of how easily you could be crushed or taken.
The worst memory still haunted your dreams: the day you had truly broken.
It happened in the Grand Atrium during a gathering of the Olympians. Zeus had laughed too loudly. Poseidon slammed his goblet down. The sudden noise sent you into a full panic. You dropped the pitcher of wine and bolted — a tiny blur of silk darting between towering marble columns and divine feet.
“Little one, wait—!”
Apollo’s voice called after you, rich and melodic with concern.
But you kept running. You sprinted past Artemis’s reaching hand, dodged Hermes’ playful attempt to intercept you, and nearly collided with Athena’s armored greaves. Hera raised an elegant brow in surprise as you scrambled away from her. Even gentle Hestia extended a hand only for you to flinch violently and flee in the opposite direction. The entire pantheon watched in stunned silence as the smallest, sweetest servant in Olympus ran from them all in raw, animal terror — including your beloved Apollo, whose golden eyes filled with pained helplessness as he tried to approach without frightening you further.
That same night, Apollo made his decision. Without a word of argument from anyone, he moved you permanently into his private chambers. “No one will touch you here,” he had vowed, voice low and fierce. His sunlit rooms became your sanctuary: soft beds draped in white and gold silks, walls adorned with blooming laurels and hyacinths, and the constant gentle melody of his lyre to soothe your shattered nerves.
Centuries passed slowly. Healing was never linear. There were still nights of screaming nightmares and days where you hid beneath tables at the mere approach of a god. But gradually, ever so gently, the fractures began to mend. You could now walk beside Apollo without constant trembling. You could sometimes smile again. Panic attackz grew rarer. The warmth of his presence became a balm rather than another source of fear.
Yet some nights the darkness returned without mercy.
Tonight was one of them.
The candles in Apollo’s vast chambers had been extinguished hours ago. Moonlight filtered through sheer golden curtains, casting a soft silver glow over the enormous bed. You lay nestled against Apollo’s chest, your small body dwarfed by his tall, athletic frame. At nearly ten feet tall, the Sun God radiated warmth like a living hearth. His rich bronze skin glowed faintly even in darkness, and his voluminous silver-white curls spilled across the pillows, the golden sun-ray crown set aside for the night. One powerful arm rested beneath his own head, while the other curled protectively around your waist, his large hand resting gently on the pillow just in front of your chest — a silent promise of safety.
His slow, steady breathing had lulled you into deep sleep.
Until your mind turned against you.
The nightmare crashed over you like a tidal wave. Pan’s leering face. Demigods’ grasping hands. The thunder of divine feet slamming down around your tiny form. You thrashed suddenly, a choked whimper escaping your throat as your heart hammered violently against your ribs. Your small hands pushed weakly against Apollo’s chest, legs kicking beneath the warm sheets as terror gripped you.
Apollo woke instantly, golden eyes snapping open with alert clarity. Without hesitation, his strong arms wrapped around you more securely — not crushing, never crushing, but firm enough to hold you through the storm. He pulled your trembling body flush against his, one hand gently cradling the back of your head while the other stroked slow, soothing circles along your spine.
“Shhh... little sun,” he whispered into your ear, his voice a low, melodic rumble filled with centuries of patience and love. “It’s only a dream. You’re safe. You’re with me. No one can reach you here.”
You whimpered again, still half-lost in the nightmare, your small fists clutching at the fabric of his white chiton. Tears soaked into his chest.
“I’ve got you,” he continued softly, lips brushing the top of your head, silver curls mingling with your own hair. “Pan is gone. Those fools who tried to harm you are long banished or humbled. No demigod, no god, no shadow will ever take you from me again. Breathe with me... that’s it. In... and out. Feel the warmth. Feel my heartbeat. It beats for you too, you know.”
His golden aura pulsed gently, filling the room with soft, healing light that chased away the clinging darkness of the dream. He held you through every sob, every shudder, never loosening his protective embrace, whispering ancient hymns and quiet reassurances until your racing heart began to slow.
“You are the sweetest soul in all of Olympus,”
Apollo murmured, pressing a tender kiss to your forehead. “And you are mine to protect..”
Slowly, the panic ebbed. Your exhausted body melted back against his, safe within the circle of the Sun God’s arms.

The Grand Atrium of Olympus shimmered with divine splendor that day. Golden sunlight streamed through towering crystal windows, illuminating marble columns veined with precious metals. The entire pantheon had gathered for one of Zeus’s rare formal assemblies — a supposed celebration of peace among the Olympians. Laughter and booming voices filled the vast space as gods and goddesses reclined on massive thrones and couches, their colossal forms making the hall feel both magnificent and overwhelmingly dangerous to someone as small as you.
You had served faithfully for centuries, especially devoted to Apollo. The gentlest soul on the mountain, barely over four feet tall, with delicate features, soft flowing hair adorned with tiny hyacinth blossoms, and wide, once-bright eyes that now carried constant shadows. Your pastel silk chiton whispered around your fragile frame as you moved carefully between the giants, refilling goblets with trembling hands. Then it happened.
Zeus threw his head back in a thunderous laugh that cracked like lightning across the atrium. At the same moment, Poseidon slammed his massive goblet down on the table, sending a resonant boom through the marble floor. The sudden explosion of noise — the very same combination of sky-shaking roar and earth-crashing force that haunted your worst memories — shattered what remained of your fragile composure.
The pitcher slipped from your fingers and shattered. Wine splashed across your feet like blood.
Your mind went white with primal terror.
You bolted.
A tiny blur of silk and panic, you darted between the forest of divine legs and towering feet. Heart hammering wildly, breath coming in short, terrified gasps.
“Little one, wait—!” Apollo’s rich, melodic voice cut through the chaos, laced with deep concern. He rose swiftly from his seat, silver-white curls catching the light, golden sun-ray crown glinting as his luminous golden eyes locked onto your fleeing form.
But you couldn’t stop. Fear had consumed you entirely.
You sprinted past Artemis, who instinctively reached out with a gentle but massive hand. “Easy, little sister—” Her voice was calm, yet you flinched violently at the shadow of her fingers and veered sharply away, nearly tripping over her silver sandals.
Hermes tried to intercept with playful speed, crouching low. “Whoa there, tiny—” His quick grin only made you panic harder; you dodged his outstretched arm and kept running.
Athena’s armored greaves loomed like bronze walls as you scrambled past her. She lifted a hand in a measured gesture. “Child, breathe—“ Her wise voice did nothing to pierce the fog of terror.
Hera raised an elegant eyebrow from her throne, her regal presence alone enough to make you swerve desperately in the opposite direction.Even gentle Hestia, the kindest of them all, extended a soft, motherly hand from her hearth-side seat. “Come here, sweet one...” You recoiled as if burned, tears streaming down your face.
Demeter called out in concern. Hephaestus rumbled worriedly. Ares barked something gruff that only made you flinch harder. Dionysus looked startled mid-sip. The entire pantheon watched in stunned, heavy silence as the smallest, sweetest nymph in Olympus — their faithful servant for centuries — fled from them all in raw, animalistic terror.
Including Apollo.
Your beloved Sun God, the one who called you his “little sun beam,” moved toward you with graceful urgency, bronze skin glowing, golden jewelry catching the light. But every time he tried to approach, your panic spiked higher. Your steps grew erratic. Your small body trembled uncontrollably.
Nymphs were delicate creatures of nature and spirit. When fear became too overwhelming — when terror pushed them beyond their limits — something ancient and horrible could happen. Their essence would begin to unravel. Some faded into mist. Others transformed uncontrollably into trees or flowers, losing themselves forever in a desperate bid to escape. Your form was already flickering at the edges, a faint goldish glow creeping along your skin as your spirit strained toward the safety of rooted oblivion. The air around you shimmered with unstable magic. One more surge of panic and you would be lost — permanently transformed or scattered like petals on the wind.
The gods realized it almost too late.
“Apollo—!” several voices called in alarm.
He didn’t hesitate.
With a decisive surge of speed and protective resolve, Apollo closed the distance in two long strides. His large, elegant hands moved with careful but firm precision. He scooped you up swiftly — one arm sliding under your knees, the other wrapping securely around your back — lifting your tiny, thrashing form completely off the ground and cradling you against his warm, toned chest. The sudden enveloping hold was overwhelming in its gentleness and strength. He held you tightly enough that your flailing limbs couldn’t continue their desperate escape, his divine presence surrounding you like a living shield of sunlight.
Your brain simply... stopped.
The overwhelming sensory input — the firm, warm pressure of his arms, the steady rhythm of his heartbeat against your ear, the familiar scent of laurel, sun-warmed marble, and sweet hyacinths that always clung to him — short-circuited the spiraling panic. For several long seconds, you went completely limp in complete, confused stillness. Your wide eyes stared blankly, tears still clinging to your lashes, as your mind tried and failed to process the sudden safety.
Apollo held you close, one large hand gently stroking your back in slow, soothing circles while the other supported you securely. His silver-white curls fell forward as he bowed his head, golden eyes soft with heartache and fierce protectiveness.
“Shhh... I’ve got you, little sun beam,” he whispered, voice low and melodic, meant only for you.
The rest of the pantheon had fallen utterly silent. Zeus looked unusually chastened. Poseidon rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. Artemis stepped closer with quiet concern. Even Hera’s expression had softened.
Apollo didn’t let go. He turned slightly, shielding your small, trembling body from the gazes of the others, and began walking slowly toward the sunlit colonnade that led to his private gardens. His hold remained firm yet impossibly tender — a deliberate, grounding pressure that kept your fracturing essence from slipping away.
“You’ve carried too much for too long,” he murmured against your hair as he carried you.
