Apollo

With a contented sigh, Helios overlooked his sacred cattle, feeling the pulse of the land beneath him, the heartbeat of a world he had long observed. Only a few days had passed since the events that had so angered him, but now, peace settled over the pastures like a comforting blanket.

With a tranquil heart, Helios took a moment to bask in the stillness, letting the radiant sunbeams brush across his golden skin. The warmth reached into every corner of his being, and he allowed himself to revel in the simple pleasure of watching his cattle live free and untroubled.

"Live in kindness and abundance, my friends," he whispered, feeling the warmth of his own blessings wash over the land. The gentle breeze rustled through the grasses, mimicking his words as if nature itself conspired to honor the sacred bond he had with these creatures.

"Rest now, my beloved companions, for indeed, your beauty shall not be sullied by the insatiable hunger of men again..." A soft breeze tousled his golden hair, mixing with the warmth of the bright sun draping over the island.

The memory of treachery became distant, eclipsed by the joy of witnessing the herds' simple, untroubled lives.

"I shall always be your sentinel," he vowed softly, his voice a loving whisper carried on the winds of the day.
