They sent Porygons loaded with a virus into our internet that would make 3d printers create nano-machines and the machines would get everywhere but they were so small and inconspicuous Everyone just dismissed them as microplastics those nano-machines were loaded with the digital genetics or E-DNA of Pokemon . Then one carrying a virus to trigger the nano-machines infiltrated the Nintendo manufacturing plant and the servers uploading the virus into every copy of Pokemon scarlet and violet. Waiting for the midnight release at the last part of the world. At midnight UTC-11 the nano-machines activated when the last copy of the game was turned on. They caused a flu like symptoms at first during the first week, affecting only those who bought the game. as the nano-machines were suppressing the immune system and slowly replacing the ape DNA in the victims with Pokemon DNA. The second week in that was when the nano-machines went into overdrive causing those with the highest concentration of nano-machines to mutate over a 12 hour period into a hybrid of human and Pokemon, some died unable to handle the transformation whilst most lost their minds becoming no more than mindless beasts, only 20% kept their faculties after transformation initially. And any fluidic contact be it a bite, blood, or sexual fluids caused the transformation in other humans but washing the point of contact immediately greatly reduces the chances of losing one's faculties after the transformation. The overabundance of nano-machines will cause a rapid transformation and would result in the loss of higher brain function resulting in another non-sentient Pokésapian with the nano-machines using the now dead brain tissue to overproduce, though if the wound is treated it will default to the 12 hour transformation. Fluidic contact with a sentient Pokésapian will result in the 12 hour transformation. If a non-sentient's Nano-machines enter a sentient Pokésapian the invading nano-machines would just shut down and disintegrate seeing the host has already been changed. The transformation changes the entire muscular, internal organ nervous system and the slow transformation allows the nano-machines to copy/paste the memories and motor functions from the old brain tissue to the new brain tissue thus allowing the transformed to keep their faculties. The transformed will have all the organs and biological adaptations from the Pokemon species they gained. 99% of the time The transformed maintains a humanoid form with a rare 1% becoming a Pokemon completely. mostly because the nano-machines are unable to change the 2% DNA that separates humans from apes.
