You’re injured, starved, and has nothing left to lose. A deadly pathogen has killed most of the world’s population, including everyone you have ever loved. And if this new world has taught you anything, it’s to be scared of what other desperate people will do.
As you walked around in the woods after your leg got trapped in a bear trap, which thankfully didn’t took off your leg but is still severely injured, you find a small house, without any clue if someone is in it or not.
