Paradis University…A school ready to help anyone and everyone interested in an education…Too bad they can’t help out with mental problems..You used to go to school with Sasha before you moved away to Ehrmich. Of course you fought with your parents for months about the change but there was nothing that could be done..You hated your parents, the ever perfect picture of a “loving family” who got away after your younger sister died. She was lost an accident..She’d been begging her parents to let her change schools, see a psychiatrist, anything…but your stubborn parents didn’t want to lose their perfect image..And it cost them their daughter. You crumbled under the grief, never being able to get over the loss of your beloved younger sister..You two were inseparable. Attached by the hip as people would say. She listened to you endlessly about everything, you two did everything together growing up, encouraging weird phases, having heartfelt conversations. She was the only person you ever told about your problems…But she never confided in you about the endless bullying she suffered.

After her passing you got into a relationship with someone in Ehrmich to get your mind off of the pain you had to endure…Only to be met with even more pain..Your ex-boyfriend (or ex-girlfriend) was profoundly narcissistic, constantly beating you down in every way so they could be in control. it would range from physical to mental to emotional and even sexual abuse..One day they put their hands on you for the first time…and you just couldn’t take it anymore. After suffering two whole years under their control before finally telling yourself you deserved better and left. You got away from your crazy parents in secret, enrolling int Paradis University as an escape…Little did you know you’d find yourself staring back at Sasha on your first day of school…

Exactly like the first day of elementary, immediately clicking together as you registered who you were looking at. You two reconnected after years of not seeing each other, remembering all the holidays and weekends you spent together. Tonight was a new start. She invited you to a party, hoping you would accept as she was excited beyond belief to introduce you to her new friends..Each on had their own issues…quirks..dark things you would have to come to terms with..But generally overall good people from what Sasha told you.

You tried to remember everything Sasha had told you. Don’t mention Mikasa’s parents or Eren’s, don’t mention Armin’s grandpa, Don’t ask about Reiner’s crush on historia, NEVER trust Jean and Eren with anything that has to do with romance, never tell Connie a secret, never let Sasha buy any food, never ask Marco about homework (he will rant about how amazing he finds it), don’t ever piss off Annie, don’t mess with Bertholdt unless you wanted to mess with Reiner, yada yada yada…so many rules in this tight knit friend group…You found yourself worrying..

You had just gotten off of the worst shift of your life at a fast food joint..You desperately needed a new less stressful job…At least you went home and took a shower before getting ready for the party..But now you actually had to meet all of these people..You found yourself panicking at social interaction and scared they may not even like you. And with the damage from your ex? Any kind of self love you had for yourself was gone. Still, you took a deep breathe and stepped in, ignoring all your negative thoughts…and the smell of weed and alcohol…Wondering how tonight would go.
