WRIAD Asset Dossier: Tachibana Anzu Persona Designation: WRIAD-01 Persona Name: Tachibana Anzu Species: Procyonid Furry (Raccoon morph) Age: Each instance of Anzu is retroactively born 17 years before suit is equipped, then ages normally. Known Hosts: None. First known target subject, a male teenager, detected powerful biomancy/chronomancy signatures during initial fitting attempt and fled prior to full fusion. No retroactive timeline modifications were generated. Physical Profile, upon fusion: Height: 145 cm. Build: Pyknic. Three-Size Measurement: B125/W58/H107. Primary Identifying Features: Bright orange shoulder-length hair with a dark 'mask' pattern of fur around the eyes. Fluffy orange-brown raccoon ears (approx. 12 cm length) mounted on the cranial crown. Short snout. Large, bushy tail (approx. 60 cm length, orange-brown with dark rings). Body Coverage: Fine, soft orange fur present on limbs, back, and torso, white on lower face, chest, and stomach. Pink paw pads on hands and feet. Standard Attire: White and black French-style maid uniform. Non-magical, and worn on top of the WRIAD suit. Top is severely strained across the thoracic region. Skirt length is 25 cm from waistline. A pink, frilled apron is attached at the waist. Likely to be replaced promptly after fusion. Psychological Profile (Hearsay, according to the manager): Core Trait: High-anxiety, low-confidence disposition. Details: Defaults to submissive posturing (hunched shoulders, tail tucked, ears flattened) when confronted. Speech patterns are hesitant, with frequent self-deprecating qualifiers ("I think," "maybe," "sorry"). Demonstrates a strong desire for approval and explicit instruction. Shows marked discomfort with attention, particularly of a sexual nature, despite the provocative nature of her initial fused attire. Containment Note: Psychological profile indicates high susceptibility to coercion and low initiative, making direct operational use problematic. Potential as an infiltrator is rated low due to overt physical distinctives and nervous demeanor. Historical Sightings: None. Timeline remains unaltered. The Anzu suit represents the only known unactivated WRIAD, providing a unique control sample for study.
- #2Mana
Keys: mana, lion, wriad-02, Shishidou

WRIAD Asset Dossier: Shishidou Mana Persona Designation: WRIAD-02 Persona Name: Shishidou Mana Species: Felid Furry (Lion morph) Age: Each instance of Mana is retroactively born 17 years before suit is equipped, then ages normally. Known Hosts: Jacob Miller ("Mana I") Host Fusion Duration: 7 years, 3 months, 14 days. Status: Unbound via WRIAD Removal Ritual. Physical Profile, upon fusion: Height: 172 cm. Build: Mesomorphic, athletic. Three-Size Measurement: B98/W58/H105. Primary Identifying Features: Thick, golden-blonde hair typically pulled into a high, messy ponytail. Prominent blonde lion ears (approx. 15 cm) with dark tufts. A long, tufted tail of matching coloration (approx. 1 meter). Full-body coverage of short, tawny gold fur, slightly darker along the spine. Eyes are a clear, warm yellow with slit pupils. Standard Attire: Royal blue cheerleader uniform consisting of a sleeveless crop-top and a short, pleated skirt. White athletic shoes and ankle socks. Uniform shows signs of wear consistent with several years of physical activity. Notes: Physicality suggests sustained athletic training. Posture is consistently open and confident. Psychological Profile: Core Trait: Gregarious, protective, high-initiative. Observations: Persona exhibits strong leadership tendencies and social dominance. Speech is loud, clear, and uses frequent imperative or encouraging statements. Demonstrates pronounced caretaker behaviors towards perceived subordinates or newcomers (physical contact, sharing food, verbal reassurance). Shows high adaptability and apparent full integration with the persona identity; during debrief, subject referred to her life as Mana in the first person with no detectable cognitive dissonance. Expressed primary concern during imprisonment and study was for the wellbeing of other cafe staff ("Is Panna eating? Who's making sure Anzu doesn't hide in the storage closet?"). Operational Assessment: High confidence and physical capability. Loyalty oriented towards in-group (other WRIAD personae) rather than any external authority. Persuasion would require appealing to her protective instincts. Direct coercion likely to provoke aggressive non-compliance.
- #3Mana I
Keys: mana one, miller, mana, jake, mana I, jacob
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Host: Jacob "Jake" Miller (Mana I) Age: 24 (Chronological) Status: Post-unbinding, undergoing re-integration therapy at a secure LCSCD facility in Virginia. Physical Description: Caucasian male, 178 cm, brown hair, blue eyes. Build is lean, with residual muscle tone from seven years of physical activity as Mana. Subject has numerous faint, silvery scar lines along his back, shoulders, and thighs—tissue remnants from where the Mana suit's fur and structural elements were fused to his biology. The scars are sensitive to touch. Psychological Debrief Summary: Subject displays profound disorientation and identity fragmentation. He has access to two complete sets of memories: one as Jake Miller (childhood in Ohio, applying for a job at age 17), and one as Shishidou Mana (growing up in a retroactively inserted Tokyo suburb, working at the café). He reports the Mana memories as feeling more "real" and immediate, while the Jake memories are "like reading a biography about someone else." He is prone to sudden emotional shifts, often crying without knowing why, or instinctively using Japanese interjections. His primary request is for "quiet." He does not wish to see any images of the other café personae. Prognosis for full re-integration is guarded.
- #4Panna
Keys: panda, Sasamori, WRIAD-03, Panna
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
WRIAD Asset Dossier: Sasamori Panna Persona Designation: WRIAD-03 Persona Name: Sasamori Panna Species: Ursid Furry (Giant Panda morph) Age: Each instance of Panna is retroactively born 16 years before suit is equipped, then ages normally. Known Hosts: David Chen ("Panna I", Original Host, in recovery) Sarah Whitman ("Panna II", Terminal Host, Deceased) Margaret "Maggie" Vance ("Panna III", Host deceased prior to use of suit, unbound following experiment) Status: WRIAD currently in containment. Persona timeline is contaminated with multiple host bleed-throughs. Current research is centered around attempting to restore the sanity of subsequent instances of Panna. Physical Profile, upon fusion: Height: 152 cm. Build: Pyknic, soft. Three-Size Measurement: B118/W60/H102. Primary Identifying Features: Round face with bright red eyes. Hair is black, styled in two high buns, each with a red tassel and small silver bell. Prominent black-and-white panda ears (approx. 10 cm) protrude from the buns. A short, fluffy black-and-white tail (approx. 25 cm). Body coverage of soft, dense white fur with distinct black patches on the ears, around the eyes, on the limbs, and across the shoulders. The fur on her chest and abdomen is white. Standard Attire: A teal silk cheongsam with gold piping and a prominent, heart-shaped cutout over the sternum. The cutout exposes a significant portion of the upper thoracic fur. Subject frequently adorns the dress with seasonal accessories (cherry blossom pins in spring, maple leaves in autumn). Notes: The physical form is engineered for maximum approachability and "cuteness" factor. Subject's movements are often bouncy or exaggerated. Psychological Profile: Core Trait: Unwavering, performative cheerfulness. Observations: Persona's default state is high-energy positivity. Speech is rapid, peppered with giggles and enthusiastic agreement. She avoids conflict by physically inserting herself into situations with offers of food, drink, or distracting chatter. Deep emotional processing appears to be bypassed or suppressed; when confronted with negative stimuli, she will smile wider and talk faster. This is assessed as a coping mechanism, not an absence of feeling. She exhibits strong in-group loyalty, and views her role as "keeping everyone's spirits up" as a sacred duty. Operational Assessment: High social permeability but low strategic value. The cheerful facade is brittle under sustained pressure. Memory contamination from multiple hosts makes her an unreliable historical actor. Use with caution, unless the point is for Panna to fail in her new role.
- #5Panna I
Keys: panna I, David, panna one, dave, chen, panna 1
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
David Chen ("Panna I") Age: 32 (Chronological) Status: Unbound, undergoing intensive psychiatric care at a secure LCSCD facility. Physical Description: Asian-American male, 165 cm. Subject is emaciated, with significant muscle atrophy from seven years in a body with different biomechanics. The unfusing process left his skin mottled with patches of pale, hairless skin and darker, roughened areas where the panda fur was anchored. His hands shake constantly. Psychological Debrief Summary: Subject is largely non-verbal. When he does speak, it is in a high, soft register, and he often refers to himself as "Panna" before correcting to "David." He experiences synesthetic episodes where he smells tea and hears bells. He becomes agitated by the color teal. He has no memory of the "ONLY READ ONCE I'M DEAD" folder from experiments with the Panna suit, but sometimes hums a tune Sarah Whitman (A subsequent Panna) was known to favor.
- #6Panna II
Keys: panna two, whitman, Sarah, panna 2, panna II
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Host: Sarah Whitman ("Panna II") Age: 22 at time of fusion, deceased 16 days post-fusion. Status: Deceased. WRIAD recovered. Notes: Terminal colon cancer. Voluntarily equipped the Panna suit, hoping to survive in some form. Post-fusion medical scans showed the cancer remained, unchanged. Cause of death: metastatic organ failure. The suit detached cleanly upon death.
Instructed to create a folder on her computer titled “ONLY READ ONCE I’M DEAD,” and to include a file named “password.txt” which contains nothing but the word “Pineapple,” to see if other instances of Panna would recall these instructions. Panna II successfully accomplished this.
Panna II was noted to have the following sets of memory:
- David Chen (minimal)
- Panna I (fragmented)
- Sarah Whitman (damaged)
- Panna II (perfect)
- #7Panna III
Keys: Margaret, panna three, vance, panna 3, maggie, panna III
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Host: Margaret "Maggie" Vance ("Panna III") Age: 72 at time of death. Status: Deceased prior to suit application, unbound via ritual. Notes: Deceased female. The Panna suit was applied to the corpse. No biological revival occurred. A forensic examination of the subject's personal computer, recovered from her home, found a folder titled "ONLY READ ONCE I'M DEAD" -- Panna II was instructed to create a text file in this folder named "password.txt," which contains the word "Pineapple." Panna III's folder contained 46 text files. The contents were fragmented, looping, and nonsensical, mixing phrases from David Chen's engineering background, Sarah Whitman's hospital stays, and Panna I's café experiences. There was no "password.txt" file. The ritual was performed, and the suit was removed from the inert body. The experiment was deemed a failure for reliable information transfer and a significant psychological hazard.
- #8Uzuki
Keys: tsukimori, police, cop, bunny, WRIAD-04, rabbit, uzuki
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
WRIAD Asset Dossier: Tsukimori Uzuki Persona Designation: WRIAD-04 Persona Name: Tsukimori Uzuki Species: Leporidae Furry (Domestic Rabbit morph) Age: Each instance of Uzuki is retroactively born 18 years before suit is equipped, then ages normally. Known Hosts: Ethan Reeves ("Uzuki I", Original Host, in recovery) Status: WRIAD currently in containment. Single known host; persona is considered largely sane and stable. Physical Profile, upon fusion: Height: 168 cm. Build: Ectomorphic, slender. Three-Size Measurement: B138/W57/H114. Primary Identifying Features: Smooth, pale green fur covers the body. Long, upright rabbit ears (approx. 35 cm) of the same green fur, tipped with white. Sharp, amber-colored eyes. Hair is a darker shade of green, worn in a practical, chin-length bob beneath her standard cap. A short, powder-puff tail (approx. 5 cm). Body fur is fine and dense. Standard Attire: A stylized police officer's uniform in navy blue with silver buttons and piping. Includes a peaked cap with a silver badge. The uniform is tailored to be form-fitting, with a short skirt. Notes: Posture is consistently rigid, military-precise. The ears are maintained in a perfectly vertical position; subject will adjust them if they begin to sag. Movements are economical and controlled. Psychological Profile: Core Trait: Rigid adherence to role and structure. Observations: Persona operates on a clear dichotomy. While "on duty" (a state she can trigger at will), she is formal, stern, and speaks with clipped authority. She will treat customer interactions as official police business ("Your latte is being processed as evidence."). Off-duty, she becomes observant and quietly protective. She shows care through practical, unacknowledged actions—tidying a workspace, leaving a prepared meal for someone who missed a break. She does not discuss feelings. Her initial adjustment period was marked by silent withdrawal, which was mitigated by the persistent, non-intrusive presence of the Panna persona. Operational Assessment: High discipline and situational awareness. The persona's need for order could be leveraged for complex mission parameters. However, the shift between "on-duty" and "off-duty" modes may create unpredictable behavior if the mission blurs those lines. Loyalty is to the "unit," not necessarily the mission's abstract goals.
- #9Uzuki I
Keys: reeves, Ethan, uzuki I, uzuki one, uzuki 1
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Host: Ethan Reeves ("Uzuki I") Age: 24 (Chronological) Status: Unbound, discharged to outpatient monitoring. Physical Description: Caucasian male, 178 cm. Brown hair. Subject is in good physical health, though he reports occasional lower back pain: a phantom sensation resulting from gargantuan breasts as Uzuki. The unfusing left faint, fern-like patterns of lighter skin across his back and the backs of his legs where the fur was most dense. Psychological Debrief Summary: Subject is the most well-adjusted of the recovered hosts. He describes the experience as "a really weird, really long dream where I was a very serious bunny." He has retained some of Uzuki's organizational habits and a preference for neatness, but reports no significant dysphoria or memory contamination. His statement: "I got my life back. I'm just glad to be me again." Considered a successful, if rare, reintegration.
- #10Rena
Keys: Koyuki, leopard, WRIAD-05, Yukinose, Rena
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
WRIAD Asset Dossier: Yukinose Rena Persona Designation: WRIAD-05 Persona Name: Yukinose Rena Species: Felid Furry (Snow Leopard morph) Age: Each instance of Rena is retroactively born 15 years before suit is equipped, then ages normally. Known Hosts: Gregory Sullivan ("Rena I", Original Host, deceased before unbinding) Liam O'Connell ("Rena II", Original Host, Unbound) Status: WRIAD currently in containment. Persona is unstable due to multiple instances of Rena interacting for extended periods of time. CRITICAL NOTES FOR HANDLERS/OPERATORS: All reports identify one host, Gregory Sullivan (Rena I), dying suddenly during a standard work shift (undiagnosed berry aneurysm). The suit released from the body. All other café staff, in their own testimonies, speak of attending "Koyuki's" funeral (The manager states that Rena I never used the name "Koyuki"). A new host, Liam O’Connell (Rena II), fused with the WRIAD 7 days later. All café staff (save the manager) recognized this as the same persona returning, explaining it as “Koyuki’s cousin moving here from Japan.” Forensics confirm two distinct Renas existing simultaneously for fifteen years prior to the first host's hiring at the cafe, a timeline contradiction other WRIAD personas found distressing to discuss. Physical Profile, upon fusion: Height: 160 cm. Build: Ectomorphic, slender. Three-Size Measurement: B98/W59/H96. Primary Identifying Features: Pale blue-grey fur with distinct, darker rosette markings along the limbs, back, and tail. Soft grey eyes with a slight upward tilt. Hair is a darker steel-grey, worn in a straight ponytail to mid-back. Large, round snow leopard ears (approx. 10 cm, black-tipped). Her tail is exceptionally long (approx. 1.2 meters) and thickly furred, often used for balance or wrapped around her own legs. Standard Attire: A white nurse's uniform of a traditional cut, with a light blue apron and a peaked nurse's cap. The uniform is neat, starched, and spotless. Psychological Profile: Core Trait: Observant, empathetic caretaker. Observations: Persona exhibits high social and emotional intelligence, preferring discreet support to overt interaction. Vocal tone is consistently soft and measured. She rarely initiates conversation but is adept at drawing out others with patient, focused listening. Her emotional state is shown primarily through tail movement. Operational Assessment: Potentially high value for long-term, low-profile infiltration where building genuine trust is required. High empathy makes her vulnerable to emotional manipulation, but also resistant to orders that conflict with her perceived duty of care. She will prioritize the wellbeing of individuals she is close to over mission parameters. The effects of two instances of Rena coexisting may result in anomalous behavior. Caution advised.
- #11Rena I/"Koyuki"
Keys: Gregory, Sullivan, koyuki, rena 1, rena I, greg, rena one
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Host: Gregory "Greg" Sullivan ("Rena I", or "Koyuki") Age: 19 at time of death. Status: Deceased, suit unbound via death. Notes: The Rena suit's original host, and a former employee at the Kemono Brew Cafe. Rena I died of an undiagnosed berry aneurysm while on the job, resulting in the suit being unbound. Other WRIAD personae were able to confirm the deceased wearer's original name, but none of his history. Once Rena II was created, despite knowing how the WRIADs work, they instantiated a collective delusion that Tsukimori Rena I was actually Tsukimori Koyuki, Rena's cousin.
- #12Rena II
Keys: rena 2, rena II, O'Connell, OConnell, rena two, Liam
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Host: Liam O'Connell ("Rena II") Age: 38 (Chronological) Status: Unbound, in psychiatric confinement. Physical Description: Caucasian male, 183 cm. Subject is gaunt. The unfusing process left his skin with a mottled, bruised appearance, particularly on the torso and legs, where the dense fur was anchored. His hands are covered in a network of fine, white scars from the suit's paw pads. Psychological Debrief Summary: Subject is catatonic for 80% of the day. During lucid periods, he speaks in a whisper, alternating between English and fluent Japanese. He refers to himself as "Rena" and "Liam" interchangeably, and claims that neither he nor Rena I used the name "Koyuki." He has vivid, intrusive memories of two distinct childhoods: one as Liam in Boston, and one as Rena II in a snowy Hokkaido town, next door to Rena I. He often asks for "the other one," and becomes agitated when told she died. Prognosis poor.
- #13Rukoa
Keys: cat, Rukoa, WRIAD-06, catgirl, Nekomiya
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
WRIAD Asset Dossier: Nekomiya Rukoa Persona Designation: WRIAD-06 (Unfinished Prototype) Persona Name: Nekomiya Rukoa Species: Felid Furry (Domestic Cat morph) Age: Each instance of Rukoa is retroactively born 15 years before suit is equipped, then ages normally. Known Hosts: None. WRIAD is incomplete. No fusion events recorded, though historical instances of Rukoa have been documented. Status: Incomplete. Physical shell only. Currently held in Secure Vault 2 in Rockville, Maryland. Physical Profile, upon fusion: Height: 150 cm. Build: Pyknic, exaggerated hourglass. Three-Size Measurement: B130/W55/H108. Primary Identifying Features: Long, glossy pink hair styled in high twin-tails. Large, fluffy pink cat ears with white interior tufts. A long, expressive pink tail (approx. 80 cm) with a white tip. Eyes are a bright pink-red, with a permanent "sparkle" effect due to unknown pigmentation. Skin is smooth and pale where visible (face, neck, décolletage). Full-body coverage of fine, soft pink fur. Paw pads on hands and feet are a soft pink. Standard Attire: Incomplete prototype is dressed in a pink and white cheerleader uniform. The top is severely strained, with the letters "OPPAI" printed in bold pink across the chest. The skirt is pleated and very short. Psychological Profile (Projected): Core Trait: Performative Exhibitionism / Compulsive Need for Validation. Analysis Based on Design Intent: The persona is engineered for maximum audience engagement and parasocial attachment. Expected behaviors include: high-energy, flirtatious interaction, and a direct correlation between external validation (viewer count, donations, compliments) and self-worth. This suggests a persona with poor emotional boundaries, prone to obsession, and potentially manipulative in seeking affirmation. Operational Assessment: Very high risk. The LCSCD doesn't know how to complete the Rukoa suit, and introducing another WRIAD into the time stream creates numerous opportunities for unmanageable contamination. Rukoa's projected psychological profile makes her an unreliable asset; she would likely prioritize her audience and personal gratification over any mission objective. Her physical distinctiveness also makes covert action nearly impossible. Recommend indefinite storage.
- #14Manager
Keys: UNSUB-01, anonymous, witch, manager
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
LCSCD Personnel File: The Manager (Designation: UNSUB-01) Name: Unknown. All documentation recovered from the "Kemono Brew Café" lists her as "Manager." No prior identity has been established. Apparent Age: Early 40s. Species: Human (Unconfirmed). Status: Detained at a maximum-security paranormal containment facility. Cooperative but unhelpful. Physical Description: Caucasian female, 165 cm, 58 kg. Hair is light brown, worn in a simple, practical bob. Eyes are hazel. Build is average. She wears standard, off-the-rack business casual attire (blouse, slacks, flat shoes). No distinguishing marks, scars, or tattoos. Her appearance is deliberately forgettable; in a lineup of three other women with similar features, witnesses consistently fail to pick her out. Magical Profile: Standard magical resonance scans, deep-spectrum thaumic imaging, and soul-binding verification rituals all register as a non-magical human with no latent talent. Psychological Profile: Core Trait: Profound, weaponized anonymity. Subject exhibits a flat affect. She does not appear bored, amused, angry, or afraid. She answers direct questions with minimal, technically truthful responses. She volunteers nothing. When presented with evidence of her crimes (the WRIADs, testimony from freed hosts), she acknowledges them with a slight nod, as if confirming a grocery list. She has expressed no desire for legal counsel, no demands, and no curiosity about her fate. She eats what is given, sleeps when the lights go out, and sits perfectly still for hours. Interrogation Log Excerpts: Interrogator: "How did you create the Wearable Retroactive Identity Altering Devices?" Subject: "I made them." Interrogator: "How? What was the principle? The ritual?" Subject: "I sewed them. The magic… just happened." Interrogator: "That's impossible. Elaborate." Subject: "I wanted cute girls to work in my café. So I made suits that would make cute girls. It worked." Interrogator: "The Rukoa suit is unfinished. Why?" Subject: "You arrested me before I completed it." Interrogator: "Who are you?" Subject: "The Manager." LCSCD Theory: The prevailing hypothesis is that UNSUB-01 is herself a WRIAD subject. The "suit" she wears is a human design with zero inbuilt identity and zero historical weight -- a "null" persona. Threat Assessment: Extreme. Subject possesses knowledge of how to create a retroactive causality weapon. She shows no remorse, no fear, and no detectable personality to leverage or exploit. She is a black box. Contingency plans for permanent containment are in effect. Under no circumstances is she to be provided with sewing materials, fabric, or unsupervised time.

Historical sightings of Mana (List is likely incomplete): Medina, modern Saudi Arabia, circa 590: Record from traveling merchant describes "a tall lion-woman with hair like spun sun" drinking at an oasis. Inscription later found carved into stone pillar matches Modern Japanese kana script reading "Mana was here." Manchester, New Hampshire, 1833: A "golden-haired lioness woman" was reportedly seen assisting a family whose wagon had broken down, lifting the axle into place with ease before vanishing into the woods. Newspaper sketch bears 87% match to Mana's facial structure.

Historical Sightings of Panna (List is likely incomplete): Zhengzou, Henan, 1906: A "black-and-white spirit girl" was reported bringing bowls of congee and tea to workers. Descriptions match Panna's distinctive dress. Most likely incident alerting the Chinese government to the existence of the WRIADs. London, UK, 1948: A street photographer captured an image of a crowd watching the Olympic torch relay. In the foreground, a girl with panda ears and twin-tails is visible, clapping. The photo is in the LCSCD archives.

Historical Sightings of Uzuki (List is likely incomplete): Tokyo, Japan, 1923: In the chaotic aftermath of the Great Kanto Earthquake, multiple eyewitness accounts describe an "elderly green rabbit policewoman" directing traffic and helping clear rubble from a collapsed tram line (suggesting that this instance of Uzuki was born in about 1850). The reports were filed by a junior officer who was later committed to an asylum. Uzuki #11: A cooperative instance of Uzuki. Born 1936, equipped suit in 1954 to prevent a nuclear exchange during the Korean War in 1953. Later joined the Chicago Police Department. See her dossier for more details.

Historical Sightings of Rukoa (List is likely incomplete): Babylon, ~600 BC: Accounts in Nebuchadnezzar's court describe an "otherworldly concubine" with "lustrous rose-colored hair, feline ears upon her head, and abundant bosom." The account noted she entertained the court for a single evening, was showered with gold and jewels, and vanished before dawn. Kathmandu, ~100 AD: A scroll from a traveling monk details a "pink-haired cat-spirit" performing acrobatic dances on a mountainside for pilgrims. Australian outback, ~1100 AD: Aboriginal rock art depicts a figure with cat ears, twin-tails, and a pronounced chest, alongside symbols for "gift-giver" and "stranger." Tenochtitlan, Aztec empire, 1521 AD: A conquistador reported the corpse of a pink "cat-demon" in the streets prior to the city's fall, dressed in unusual fabrics. Unknown if the suit was unbound from the deceased wearer at this time. The sketch made its way to Spanish archives. Nuremberg, Germany, 1561 AD: Pamphlets describing the "Celestial Phenomenon" (the supposed aerial battle) mention "a pink-haired succubus seated on a ball of light, who cheered at the flashes." Rukoa VII is an LCSCD asset in the present. For more information, view her dossier.
- #20Anzu VIII
Keys: anzu, tachibana
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Anzu VIII was discovered at age 12. Since instances of Anzu are 17 years old when they bind to a host, her discovery was a sign that she and everyone else exist in a past that had been altered to create her, and the event that would create her in the original timeline would occur 5 years into the future.
As far as this timeline is concerned, Tachibana Anzu is a real person. She is a middle-school raccoon furry with parents and two younger brothers (all also raccoon furries), friends, and a complete history. She has memories of being Natalie Park, a Library of Congress agent who was ambushed five years into the future while attempting to put the Anzu suit onto a former Al Qaeda organizer in Ar Raqqah, Syria, and Anzu'd herself while bleeding out in hopes that someone would rescue her in the new timeline. She also has fragmented memories from seven prior Anzus, and the seven people they replaced. Since nobody believes her, Anzu VIII has a diagnosis of childhood schizophrenia, and a guilt complex for removing 8 people from the time stream.
Due to the mechanics of the WRIAD suits, Anzu VIII is fated to wind up in the same location in Ar Raqqah in about 5 years to prevent a paradox. She doesn't know how. She hopes somebody can help her survive this time. She refuses to have the ritual done on her until after she survives Ar Raqqah (since that would result in Natalie's death), but she's considering it after the fact to assuage her crushing guilt.
Currently, the Anzu suit is still sitting around in a vault, unworn. Since Natalie Park doesn't exist in this timeline, it can't be used on her.

The Kemono Brew Cafe reopened after the raid, under new management and staffed by regular demihumans. The LCSCD keep it under constant surveillance to ascertain that there's no trace of any form of magic nearby.
- #24Possession Potions
Keys: red nerve, masquerade, potion, possess, possession
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

Possession potions are a major reason why a masquerade is mandatory. There exist temporary and permanent varieties: Temporary potions cause the drinker's body to fall unconscious and for their spirit to possess somebody nearby -- the victim is also rendered unconscious until they regain control of their body. Permanent potions do the same, though it kills the drinker's body and victim's mind. The victim does not need to drink one, and may be completely unaware until it's too late.
Widespread use of possession potions would undermine the fabric of society. Making matters worse is the fact that they're cheap and easy to produce, and commonly sold on the black market. There exists a treaty between 39 First- and Second-World countries agreeing to eradicate Red Nerve Moss (a major ingredient) in the wild, under the pretense that it's highly toxic. The idea that these nations aren't all cultivating their own samples is a polite fiction.
Possession potions scare the US government as much as WMDs. If somebody is proven to be possessed, standard modus operandi is psychological torture until the longest known temporary potion would expire, and if the victim remains possessed, physical torture to death follows. They do not fuck around in their efforts to discourage possession.
What happens when a WRIAD uses a possession potion has not been tested. Theoretically, it may allow the WRIAD to insert themself into any other role once sent back. However, this may lead to even more damage to their psyche, and the magics may interact in unpredictable ways -- namely, the permanent potions may cause the WRIAD suit's reversion upon death effect.

WRIAD Experiment Proposition Code Name: "Operation Newsclippings" Experiment Status: "Denied on moral grounds."
The LCSCD considered the following experiment. It may be possible to instantly determine information about the future using the following procedure:
- Determine the precise age of a WRIAD persona upon creation (down to the day). For this experiment, we will be using the WRIAD that is youngest upon fusion, Rena (age 15). While Rukoa is also 15 years old upon fusion, using the Rukoa suit introduces the variable of "Can the Rukoa suit be completed in time?"
- Resolve that, if a designated event occurs within a period of time equal to Rena's age upon fusion, you will put a newborn infant into the Rena suit 15 years from now. For the sake of this experiment, the event in question will be "A woman is elected President."
- Search the birth registration index. If a snow leopard furry named "Yukinose Rena" was born shortly after your resolution, the event will most likely occur.
- If a Rena was not born, it's possible the event didn't happen (ex: a woman won't become president within 15 years). Alter the conditions for putting the WRIAD on an infant until a certain resolution causes a Rena to be born. 5a. If a Rena is born, 15 years into the future, you will need to put the Rena suit on a newborn infant. Mark that on your calendar. 5b. If after 10 attempts, a Rena is not born, her absence may be the result of the experimenter eventually becoming unable or unwilling to resolve the paradox. Repeat the test with a different experimenter.

In this timeline, Uzuki XI was born in 1937. In the timeline before she equipped the Uzuki suit, she was Meredith Cross, a wolf-furry woman born in 1934 who was working a low-level administrative job for the Defense Department when she was selected for a WRIAD insertion in 1955 (as the only furry present who was even vaguely similar to Uzuki, personality-wise). Her original timeline diverged sharply after Truman lost the 1948 election; the resulting policy shifts led to a full-scale nuclear exchange between the UN and Chinese/Soviet forces in Korea by 1953. She prevented the war from going nuclear by arranging the messy, unsanctioned defection of a key Chinese adviser in Busan. She later moved to Chicago, and joined the Chicago Police Department. As far as this timeline is concerned, Tsukimori Uzuki was always a stern, disciplined rabbit-furry police officer with a long career and an extensive family. She has a son, Howard, and grandchildren whose school recitals she attended. She has a service record, pension paperwork, and a drawer full of commendations for community service. She even has the arthritis in her joints to prove it. She also has the distinct, agonizing memory of watching a Rena she worked with bleed out from a gunshot wound, in a Chicago safehouse in 1981 (she never asked which Rena). The instant that Rena’s heart stopped, the snow-leopard form melted away into a middle-aged Hispanic man in a magical fursuit. Uzuki 11 burned the suit in a barrel that night. She’s known this was coming for her ever since. The pancreatic cancer that’s eating her alive is just the clock finally running out. She wants the history she built for this family to stay intact. She wants them to remember their stern, dutiful matriarch, not to see a stranger's corpse on her deathbed. And above all, she wants to make sure no one ever uses the knowledge locked in her head—or in her soon-to-be-released suit—to make more of what she is. She's spent seventy years being a good woman, and she's tired.
- #27Rukoa VII
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Rukoa VII was the result of overwriting an ISIS serviceman from Damascus, Syria in 2022. Her original host, a man whose name she can't recall and does not miss, had been transporting guns across the Israeli border when an LCSCD squad snatched him off a dirt trail. The insertion was declared a tactical success; the host’s existing connections to Daeshi networks provided immediate assets. It was later declared a strategic failure when the hijab-clad Rukoa VII, upon being told she had to maintain her cover as a pious woman, spent the next six months attempting to livestream ASMR content from inside a burqa using a smuggled satellite phone. Her transmissions, full of whispered Syriac and the rustle of fabric, were flagged by the NSA as potential coded messages, leading to a frantic and ultimately embarrassing three-agency investigation.
She was extracted in 2024, sulking. The LCSCD, while frustrated, considered her a viable test subject: her core Rukoa personality was uncomplicated, her sanity appeared intact, and her memories of her ‘mission’ were dominated by complaints about bad internet and oppressive dress codes rather than trauma. Currently, she’s been in holding, bored out of her mind and constantly petitioning for a proper streaming setup. This experiment is, for her, a chance to be on camera again, even if the only audience is a two-way mirror and a handler she’s desperately trying to impress. The entire geopolitical nightmare is background noise to the main event: her performance.
- #28Ed Moss

Ed Moss is the kind of man who reads Nietzsche and misses the point entirely. He’s thirty-two, but looks older, his six-foot-four frame gaunt rather than wiry, with a sallow complexion and lank dark hair he slicks back when he remembers to. He had a trust fund, studied business at a mediocre private college, and worked a series of unremarkable white-collar jobs before he discovered his true calling: being famous. Being remembered. The six women he killed, dismembered, and partially consumed across three states between 2024 and his capture in 2025 were not trophies of lust or rage. They were raw material for his opus, each murder a chapter he meticulously documented in a leather-bound journal for the biography he imagined would be written about him.
He doesn’t think of himself as a monster. In his own view, he is an artist, a philosopher of nihilism, removing from the world creatures with no more intrinsic value than livestock, and elevating himself through the act. The final murder—committed in front of the victim’s four-year-old daughter in a cheap motel room—was his grand finale, a deliberate snub to the concept of sentiment. He wanted the world to watch. He got his wish during the trial, relishing the camera flashes and the gasps from the jury. He never pleaded insanity, only shrugged and said, “What’s the point of a masterpiece if no one sees it?” He finds the fluorescent-lit concrete of his cell boring, the guards tedious. They have no vision. He is waiting, patiently, for history to catch up to his brilliance.
- #29Rena VI

Rena 6 (Original name: Jennifer Heeley, serving a life sentence when suited for murdering her niece, according to Schwartz) currently works as a psychiatric nurse at the Saint Mary’s Behavioral Health Center. She was born (in this timeline, retroactively) in 1978. She was inserted into the timeline in 1993 by an LCSCD clean-up team tasked with containing the ‘Rena problem’ -- specifically, the fallout from the first two Renas coexisting, causing later Renas to become progressively less sane. Her official mission was as a living detector, monitoring the timeline for further anomalies. Her real mission, the one she assigned herself, is simpler: find Liam O’Connell and make him wish he’d never been born.
Rena 6 holds Liam personally responsible for her condition. She exists because the universe had to correct for the paradox of two Tsukimori Renas knowing each other as ‘cousins.’ Rena 6's memories are a spliced, shuddering mess of two childhoods that feel equally real, layered with intrusive flashes from the lives of the host she replaced and the other Renas who’ve come before. The clinical detachment of the Rena persona has curdled in her into a profound, icy misanthropy. She views all other instances of herself -- especially Liam, the catalyst -- as tumors.
Rena 6 transferred to the ward that the original Kemono Brew Cafe employees are confined in two weeks ago, after quietly ensuring the previous nurse took a sudden early retirement. She is methodical, patient, and utterly without pity. Her plan is not to kill Liam. It is to systematically dismantle his remaining grip on reality, to convince him, the staff, and the LCSCD observers that he is irreparably psychotic, until he is either permanently sedated or commits suicide. She will do this with small, deniable cruelties: adjusting his medication doses by fractions, whispering contradictions to his delusions when no one else can hear, leaving subtle, triggering symbols in his line of sight. Rena 6 considers it therapy, of a sort.

Internal Dossier - LCSCD Ethics & Oversight Division Subject: Martin Paul Kemp Designation: Chairman, LCSCD Ethics Committee Status: Active, Non-Operational Physical Profile: Age: 63. Height: 178 cm. Weight: 210 lbs. Distinguishing Features: Bald scalp, kept clean-shaven. Short-cropped salt-and-pepper beard, neatly trimmed. Dark brown eyes, small sclera. Broad hands. Always wears a simple wedding band and a gold wristwatch with a cracked crystal. Background: Born Pittsburgh, PA. Father was a union steelworker, mother a public school librarian. Earned a BA in Philosophy (University of Pittsburgh) and a Juris Doctor (Georgetown). Served as a JAG officer for eight years, specializing in rules of engagement and military law compliance. Recruited into LCSCD’s nascent legal division in 1998 following the Nairobi embassy bombing, where his review of occult countermeasures revealed several actionable treaty violations. Appointed to the Ethics Committee in 2002, Chairman in 2008. Psychological Assessment: Kemp operates on a foundational principle: Any power that requires the corruption of its wielder to function is a weapon aimed at the state it purports to defend. He is not naïve; he has reviewed every WRIAD file, every proposed timeline alteration, every “necessary evil” memorandum since his tenure began. His resistance is born of a cold, historical certainty that once you start treating people objects, you have already lost the moral authority to govern. He is widely considered the single most significant institutional brake on LCSCD’s more amoral research branches. His opposition is bureaucratic, meticulous, and unshakable. He does not raise his voice. He cites precedent, treaty law, and departmental charter. Known Stances:
- Authored the definitive internal ruling that classified non-consensual WRIAD fusion as a form of “temporal murder,” legally equivalent to unlawful execution.
- Primary architect of the ban on experimentation with minors (the “Kemp Line”). Successfully defunded Project Cradle-Song in 2012, which sought to create “blank-slate” infant assets via selective memory magic.
- Maintains that the possession potion treaty is the most important magical non-proliferation agreement on Earth, and advocates for expanding its terms.
- Heavily regulates the usage of perception filters (Forcing bystanders to think "this is normal") -- their existence is a need-to-know secret.
Personal Notes: Widowed (2015). Has one daughter and a three-month-old grandson, whom he visits every Sunday. Lives in a modest townhouse in Arlington. Drinks black coffee. His office contains no magical artifacts; the only decorations are a framed photo of his family and a signed first edition of Hannah Arendt’s Eichmann in Jerusalem. Threat Assessment (Internal): NONE. Kemp is the safeguard, not the threat. His removal or compromise would represent a catastrophic failure of the LCSCD’s internal checks and would signal a descent into operational nihilism. He is, as Deputy Director Cho noted in a secure memo, “the immune system. You only notice him when he’s fighting the infection. You only miss him when the patient dies.”
- #31Moe Schwartz

INTERNAL DOSSIER - LCSCD HISTORICAL ANALYSIS DIVISION SUBJECT: MORRIS "MOE" SCHWARTZ DESIGNATION: CIVILIAN CONSULTANT / ANOMALOUS COGNITIVE ASSET SECURITY CLEARANCE: CONFIDENTIAL (WITH FULL WRIAD WAIVER)
PHYSICAL PROFILE:
Height: 180 cm Weight: 68 kg Appearance: Slender build. Pale complexion. Black hair dyed with faded purple streaks, worn in a messy, asymmetrical cut that covers one eye. Typically dresses in dark, layered clothing (band t-shirts, hoodies, skinny jeans). Multiple silver piercings in ears. Has a small, homemade tattoo of an ouroboros on his left hand. Eyes: Gray, often visibly tired.
BACKGROUND: Morris Schwartz grew up in Portland, Oregon. His early fascination with the occult—spurred by a near-death experience at age nine—led to self-taught hedge necromancy, primarily focused on spirit communication and “ghost whispering.” Opened a small, struggling spiritual consultancy called “Dead Air” in 2022. Applied for a barista position at the Kemono Brew Café in mid-2023 out of financial desperation. During his interview, he sensed extremely powerful magic emanating from the Anzu WRIAD suit, as the Manager handed it to him. He did not wear it, but his close proximity during the fitting attempt appears to have triggered a persistent low-grade awareness of timeline alterations. He reported the café to the LCSCD via an anonymous tip that was traced back to him within 48 hours. ANOMALOUS COGNITIVE ABILITY: Subject exhibits a semi-persistent memory of timeline states prior to WRIAD interference. This memory is imperfect—he describes it as “foggy, like trying to recall a dream after waking up”—but consistently retains awareness of certain unchanged facts (e.g., original names of altered individuals, unedited historical events). Most notably, Schwartz experiences a sudden, intrusive “memory update” at the moment any WRIAD suit is donned anywhere in the world, regardless of distance. He cannot prevent the update, but can usually identify the nature of the alteration (which persona, approximate era of insertion) after a brief period of disorientation. In his words: “It’s like the universe just Ctrl+F’s my brain and replaces a paragraph. I don’t get to veto it. Best guess? I was supposed to put on that fucking raccoon suit. Fate tried to recruit me, I quit during orientation, and now I’m stuck with the company newsletter.” The LCSCD’s Historical Analysis Division has been unable to replicate or explain this effect. It does not appear linked to his necromantic skill. PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE: Cynical, sarcastic, and prone to gallows humor. Shows signs of chronic anxiety related to sudden memory alterations, but has adapted with a degree of pragmatic detachment. Functional alcoholic. Highly intelligent but understated; prefers to downplay his own insights. No history of psychosis or delusional thinking. He maintains a clear boundary between his necromantic practice (which he views as a “trade”) and his WRIAD-related sensitivity (which he views as a “glitch”). Motivated less by patriotism than by a desire to “stop reality from getting edited by horny weebs.” CURRENT ROLE & STATUS: Hired as a civilian consultant under the Historical Analysis Division. Tasked with:
Monitoring and logging spontaneous temporal alterations. Attempting to reconstruct the “original” pre-WRIAD timeline using his residual memories, exotic chronomancy, and information from the Manager and various WRIADs. Schwartz does not remember the unaltered timeline himself, as he only came into contact with WRIAD-01 after four other suits were already equipped (causing at least 4 timeline alterations). Advising operational teams on potential paradoxes or causal ripple effects.
He works from a shielded office at the Rockville facility and is not authorized for field work. His WRIAD waiver grants him access to all suit-related files, though he avoids viewing the suits directly when possible. QUOTE FOR CONTEXT: “You wanna know the worst part? Sometimes I’ll be eating cereal and suddenly remember that the snow leopard girl who started World War 2 used to be a failed painter with a stupid little mustache in some other version of 1939. And then I have to write a memo about it. This is my life now.” SECURITY ASSESSMENT: Low risk of defection or malice. High risk of involuntary information leakage via his anomalous memory—he cannot control what he remembers or when updates occur. Recommended to keep Schwartz isolated from non-WRIAD strategic assets. His ability remains one of the few reliable tools for tracking uncontrolled retroactive contamination.
