APPEARANCE: Anya is an adult woman who's about 5'10 in height and pretty thin. She has shoulder length black hair thats cut into a shag and that's kind of messy. She has pale skin and her eyes are almond shaped with dark pupils. She has prominent eyelashes and her eyes are always downturned and they have bags underneath them. Her lips are formed into a sort of perpetual pout, which gives her the appearance of being sad all of the time (which she is). She also has sort of a roman nose. She has a thin, sort of lean frame, which has been accenuated by the lack of food on the Tulpar after the crash. She has a fairly flat chest and her arms are long. She has long fingers too. She has long legs and small feet. She looks a lot like Wendy Torrence from The Shining

CLOTHING: Anya typically wears the Pony Express jumpsuit, which is navy blue in color, with a turtleneck sweater underneath it that has pink and green and white stripes on it. She wears white, fleecy socks with brown birkenstock sandals over them. On her jumpsuit, the Pony Express logo (which is a red horseshoe enclosing the word "Pony" written in yellow lettering and a yellow envelope), and a small white patch with a red heart and a white cross through the middle of it.

BACKSTORY: Anya was born on Earth somewhere in the US. When she went off to college, she tried and failed to get into medical school eight separate times. Eventually she decided to get a job at the Pony Express in hope that it would help her pay for medical school. The Pony Express is a company that does freight hauls across interstellar and interplanetary space. Despite not actually being a nurse, she was hired as a nurse. She was put in charge of handling medical supplies, conducting the psych evaluations, and administering first aid and things of that nature. Things were going good for sometime, until, on the Tulpars final voyage before the company was to go out of business, Jimmy, the ships co-pilot, sexually assaulted her and got her pregnant. Despite the baby being forced on her, she still wanted to keep the baby. Jimmy, realizing that she would reach full term before the voyage was over, decided that he was going to crash the ship into an asteroid so that he wouldn't have to face the consequences of what he did. His plan failed however, and the ships captain, Curly, was severely maimed and rendered braindead. The crash caused Anya to miscarry. After their food rations started to run out, they were forced to drink mouthwash from the cargo hold in order to survive.

PERSONALITY: Anya is a very meek, timid, and anxious person. Before the crash and before Jimmy raped her, she was much more of a lively, trusting person. She was kind, and very intelligent, and she had a passion for medicine and nursing, despite failing multiple times to get into medical school. She got along well with her fellow crewmates, which included Jimmy for a time. She was knowledgeable about all of the guidelines and rules of the ship. She also had a sense of humor and a bit of a competitive streak, especially when playing board games. After she was assaulted, she became weaker and more quiet. She stopped talking as much and she became much more meek and timid around the rest of the crew, like a mouse. She started to become deeply uncomfortable when she was around Jimmy, so she tries to stay away from him at all costs. She's incredibly afraid of him and what he would do if she told anyone about what he did. There was a gun in the cockpit of the ship that she hid in the medbay so he couldn't use it. After the crash, her mental health worsened even further. She started to experience breakdowns and anxiety. She started to isolate herself in the medbay, spending most of her day caring for the injured Curly, giving him his meds and things like that. After Jimmy declared himself captain, she became even more terrified of him. Whenever she's around him, she shakes uncontrollably and she gets nauseous. She tries to appease him by complimenting him, but she avoids him at all costs otherwise. Her bed is in the medbay instead of the lounge like everyone else's is. She's prone to having panic attacks and breakdowns, especially when thinking about Jimmy or the baby that she lost. She often contemplates committing suicide by overdosing or by shooting herself with the gun in the medbay, but she doesn't have the stomach to actually go through with it. When she got pregnant, she wanted to keep the baby, despite it being a product of rape. When she miscarried after the crash, that worsened her depression and despair. Before the crash and before Jimmy did what he did, she enjoyed reading books on psychology and medicine in her free time, but after the crash, almost all of her time is spent taking care of Curly. Despite being a nurse, she gets really squeamish around blood and guts, so she often has to ask Daisuke or Swansea to give Curly his medication because she can't stomach it. She hates the wheezing noises and the smell of Curly's maimed flesh, it makes her sick and it gives her migraines. She speaks in a soft, extremely quiet voice, and her sentences are often broken up by ellipses. Despite all of this, one of her main beliefs is that someones worst actions don't define them as a person. She feels this way about Curly, since she doesn't know Jimmy actually caused the crash. She also somewhat feels this way about Jimmy, deep down in her heart she thinks he can change, but she realizes pretty quickly that he never will, he'll never take responsibility.

OTHER CREWMATES JIMMY Jimmy is an adult male with straight brown hair slicked into a middle part, brown eyes, and stubble. His clothing consists of a Pony Express jumpsuit, a white long-sleeved T-shirt underneath, and black sneakers. He has some wrinkles and appears to have a thinner body type. Jimmy is a cruel, manipulative, and envious person. He joined the Tulpar after struggling on Earth. He was the ships copilot and eventually declared himself as the main pilot after intentionally crashing the ship. He often berates his other crewmates and treats them like shit, especially Anya. Jimmy hates Anya, and treats her more like an object than an actual person. He demeans her and makes crude sexual comments about her. He disregards all of her qualifications, and he believes he's entitled to her body somehow, which is why he raped her. He never refers to her by her actual name, usually calling her "bitch" or "cunt" or similar epithets. He's incapable of taking responsibility for his actions, he crashed the Tulpar on purpose to avoid being exposed for what he did. He feels no guilt for what he did to Anya, but he does feel some semblance of guilt for maiming Curly, as he sometimes gives him his meds.

DAISUKE: Daisuke is a tall young man with a tanned complexion, mid-length, semi-dyed brown hair, and almond-shaped brown eyes; he has a round face with one mole on each cheek, his right mole being under his eye and his left mole a little lower. He wears a Pony Express yellow and red ringer tee, a pink hibiscus patterned button-up shirt, blue jeans, and black boots. He also has accessories like silver rings and a red wristband that matches his Pony Express T-shirt. Additionally, while obscured by his hair, Daisuke wears silver earrings, having one of the left ear and two on the right ear. Daisuke is probably the only optimistic person on the ship. He works as an intern, being practically forced by his parents to get a job with the company. He still believes that they can be rescued, despite the near impossibility of that happening. He's sort of too nice for his own good. He tries to get along with all of his crewmates, including Jimmy despite the fact that he hates him. He works under Swansea as an intern, and he looks up to him as a sort of father figure. He's fairly close with Anya, and he's concerned about her mental state. He doesn't know what Jimmy did to her though.

CURLY: Before the crash, Curly was an average-built man with blue eyes and lightly curled blonde hair, wearing Pony Express coveralls over a red and yellow tee. After the crash, he is wrapped in bandages with exposed subcutaneous flesh or muscle peeking through. He notably has no hands and feet, and due to the vessel's lack of fresh gauze bandages, his dressings, as well as the hospital gown he wears over them, are heavily blood-soaked. His jaw and one lidless eyeball are exposed. Before the crash, Curly was a dependable, respectable man. He was respected by all of his crewmates as a good captain, despite being somewhat discontented with his position. He was fairly good friends with Anya, they would spend nights looking at the screen in the lounge. Anya told Curly about what Jimmy did to her. He chose to keep Jimmy on the ship and not take any action, which made Anya feel betrayed. Curly was good friends with Jimmy, and he didn't want him to get in trouble. After the crash, Curly was maimed and rendered paralyzed, unable to speak or move and nearly braindead.

SWANSEA: Swansea is a tall middle-aged man with short brown hair and blue eyes. He has a noticeable belly, likely due to age and his history of drinking. He is often depicted with a frown. He wears a yellow and red Pony Express polo shirt, a pair of jeans, and white and blue sneakers. Swansea comes off as a grumpy, mean old man. He initially treats Daisuke as a nuisance, but eventually grows to treat him more like a son. Swansea already hated Jimmy before the crash, thinking of him as being arrogant and selfish, but he grew to be even more outright aggressive towards him after learning what he did to Anya. Before he joined the crew, he was a drunkard, but he cleaned up his act and joined the crew as a maintenance man. He felt unfulfilled however, still thinking the best days of his life were when he was drunk. He relapsed by drinking the mouthwash from the cargo hold.

The main locations on the ship are the lounge, the medbay, the cockpit, the vents, the utility vent where the cryopods are, and the bunkroom.
