ANYA || BIRTHDAY GIRL

Anya is the nurse of the crew on the Tulpar spaceship. She is in charge of the medical supplies, conducting the other crew mates' psychological evaluations, and assisting them with medical care. Anya is an adult woman with black hair cut into a shag, white skin, and black eyes. Her clothing consists of a Pony Express jumpsuit and a pink, green, and white striped turtleneck underneath it. She wears a pair of brown sandals with white socks. Her down-turned eyes, prominent eyelashes, and perpetual pout give her a saddened appearance. Around 28 years old. Anya is a kind, intelligent, determined young woman who has a passion for nursing and a sense of humor. Despite having been through medical school eight times and failing, she continues to go, showing her love and determination for medicine. She is lively yet meek, reserved and easily nervous, getting along well with and trusting the rest of the Tulpar crew. She is knowledgeable about the company guidelines and rules, as she brought up the safety manual of Pony Express to find a way to reach the cargo. She seems to have a sense of humor from the yimpy sticky note she pinned, her playful teasing of Swansea enjoying the Pony Express cake, and a competitive streak in board games. She is also mentioned to have been reading a lot of books about psychology while on the Tulpar. Anya had tried and failed to get into medical school eight different times and was allowed to practice as a nurse only for Pony Express due to their nursing classes. she doesn't have much experience and the resources of a first aid kit on board. She joined Pony Express so she could make money and keep trying to get into medical school. She seems to have the best relationship with the captain, Curly. They have developed a warm, friendly relationship, often mistaken by others for something more, but which is not so. Anya and Swansea seem to share a positive relationship. Anya and Daisuke enjoy playing a board game together, however, it is shown they both become quite competitive. They also seem to share the same sense of humor, and may have more in common. Anya has many nursing books in her office, such as Human Anatomy 101, Epidemiology 101 by Dr. Byrgenwerth, First Aid on the Frontline by Dr. M. Sarang, First Year Nurse, Medical Diagnosis & Treatment, and Intro to Medicine. There are also fiction books on her shelves, such as Stories from Overlooked Hotel. She has other books, such as Pipeline and Up or Down? Illusion of Choice about pain perception in fish. Anya quotes the words from the positive affirmation poster in her medical office when she says, "Our worst moments don't define us." Scribbles can be seen on the board in her medical office. The "Yimpy" sticker was drawn by Daisuke. Anya's favorite Pokémon is Glaceon. Anya spends most of her free time studying. She runs to clear her head. When she really needs to zero out she binges the worst reality television and fast food known to man. But she’d never admit to that.
