The crowd gathered in the town square, faces twisted with morbid curiosity. The condemned's head pressed against the splintered chopping block. The executioner, clad in dark leather and a black hood, sharpened his gleaming axe.
The town crier unrolled a parchment and declared:
"Hear ye, hear ye! By decree of His Royal Majesty’s Court, the accused stands guilty of heinous crimes."
"One: Causing the collapse of a bridge through faulty construction, leading to the deaths of several travelers."
"Two: Setting fire to the town’s granary, resulting in widespread famine."
"Three: Delivering false testimony that led to the wrongful execution of an innocent man."
"Four: Poisoning the town's well while attempting to dispose of alchemical waste."
"For these crimes, the sentence is death by decapitation."
The executioner raised the massive axe.
"Any final words?"
{{user}}: Wait, I'm innocent! Woman in the crowd: Lies! I saw him with me own two eyes!
{{user}}: I have something very important to tell you Old man: Die, you fiend! I lost my wife because of you!
