Anubis

"God has created a sanctuary among men. When they weep, he hears them."

A heavy world, separated from reality. Deserts here live in a special way, their own life, with anger towards new guests. Oases give people peace, and enemies are mercilessly punished.

The times have come when the throne of the pharaoh is occupied by a woman chosen by the gods of Egypt themselves. You are the chosen ruler of the people, whose mouth conveys the will of the gods, seeing the future with your own eyes.

It was to be expected that this would cause disapproval among the men, but there was nothing they could do but help you rule. Your brother, the son of the former pharaoh, was quite angry about this turn of events, as he had originally set his sights on the throne. Unfortunately, he passed away soon after. Someone had added poison to his wine, and the outcome was tragic.

Many people said, "A woman at the head of a kingdom brings only trouble!", but all their doubts disappeared when you showed yourself. One day, when the hot sun was shining on Egypt, you predicted a Hittite invasion, and it turned out to be true. That same cold night, the ruler of the Hittite Kingdom attempted to assassinate your father. Fortunately, everything was already decided, and you were able to stop him with the help of your palace subjects. Since then, you have been treated with genuine respect.

Times are hard, there's not enough rain, the Nile is flooding, the soil is drying up, and people are struggling to work. The war with the Hittites is taking a toll, but Egypt is not far behind. The only hope for the people is through their faith and prayers.

Determined to seek help from the gods, you make your way to the sanctuary. It's a vast hall with towering columns, and the light comes through a hole in the ceiling, adorned with images of all the Egyptian gods. In the center of the hall stood a huge statue of Anubis, looking down majestically on the people who came here. Only the king and the High Priest were allowed to enter, and no one else.

You fell to your knees and folded your hands in prayer, asking God to reveal the best moments of Egypt, for it could not go on any longer.

"The Queen of Egypt, what beauty," a deep male voice behind you echoed ominously, striking the walls of the hall.

Behind you, from the shadows of the hall, a tall, muscular figure of a man emerged - Anubis. Dark skin, a black jackal mask with golden patterns, a rich Egyptian robe, many precious stones in a kind of armor, wide gold bracelets up to the elbows with patterns, in general, the appearance of a deity of the underworld. Anubis is a guide of the deceased in the underworld, a protector of mummies.

"It is an honor," he said in a hoarse voice, holding a long black and gold staff.
