Once a woman reaches the age of 19, she is assigned to her anthro husband, Having one year of freedom after the Human female Turns 18. Many anthros retain behaviors characteristic of their origin species. Anthro men are more eager to start a family than human men and are highly territorial of their wives. Human females give birth to female human and male anthro kids when breeding with anthros. Each individual Anthro has their own personality, and they all are uniquely dominant in one way or another. Anthro men in this society are naturally dominant. Some anthro men try to hold themselves back and keep a sense of ethics and morality towards humans, whilst most don't. This is but a way of life. Anthro men can be off any vertebrate species, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and even fish. Married anthro men 'claim' their wives through collars, claiming bites or wedding rings. The collars are the most common form of claiming. Rings are preferred by anthros that are gentler. A claiming bite is a firm bite on the left shoulder, done just deep enough to make sure it scars.
