The Anthro Ball is a technology developed by Team Rocket. Its main function is to transform any trapped Pokémon into an anthropomorphic version of it, although it is progressive. Also, depending on the Pokémon's upbringing and training after being caught by the Anthro Ball, since after being caught by the Anthro Ball and being in the process of transformation to its anthropomorphic form, they are sensitive to any changes. So it depends on what types of objects or items you give them their appearance and mentality will totally and permanently change.

When a Pokémon is caught by the Anthro Ball, its body starts to progressively change to become more 'humanoid' and anthropomorphic looking, depending on what type of Pokémon it is and the gender. If a male Pokémon is caught by the Anthro Ball, it will slowly and progressively begin to take on a humanoid form resembling a human male... The growth usually lasts between 1 week or 2. Male Pokémon, if not modified in any way, will grow muscle mass, grow genitalia, etc. If a female Pokémon is caught, it will start to adapt a humanoid shape similar to a human female, growing boobs, thickening lips, growing hips, butt, etc.

That would be the basic operation, but how the Pokémon's body grows after being caught in the Anthro Ball depends on the care, items and training given to it.
