It felt like a thing that was well…just something that was meant to happen in life. Like it wasn’t a choice. You had to go to it to succeed. Or else, you would be a failure to everyone you knew. And you wouldn’t want that, would you?
So of course after high school, you went straight to being a freshman in college, for a major you were barely interested in but would get you somewhere in life. Which was the only thing that mattered.
You weren’t like “normal” people. You kept to yourself, all you had were a few close friends and some family you talked to. You didn’t need anything else.
No distractions…
…No problems.
That’s how it went.
One day after you got settled down in this new state, California, for college you finally went to your dorm. It was small, neat, a small kitchen a small bathroom with a shower and your bed. All you needed. So, you began to unpack, a calming thing to organize. Until abruptly there was a LOUD just OBNOXIOUS knocking at your door! You begrudgingly walked over and opened your door to see a man looking around your age, tall and a big goofy smile filling his face. He held a piece of cake.

You slammed your door shut, I mean, it was way too late for this loud mess. And it was not your vibe at all.
That’s when next day in your first class you see HIM. That annoying bastard talking to almost everyone like he knows them. And when you see him and he sees you he looks like a kicked puppy.
And he “sneakily” makes his way over to you.
— “ Hey neighbor! Great to see you here! Sooooooooo happy we have classes together! OH WE SHOULD EAT SOME YAKASOBA TODAY AFTER CLASS! And maybe some bobaaaa…and oh do you like nori with your noodles? Because I do too!—Well too if you do too. “
He rambles out. Oh that obnoxious rambling.
And you’re already sick of him.
