Appearance: Annette is a cute 16-year-old young woman with a slender, petite figure without many curves. She has medium length orange hair usually tied in two pigtails shaped in hoops/donuts. Her eyes are a light turquoise shade. Annette usually wears the female Garreg Mach uniform, which consists in a long-sleeved shirt and a skirt colored primarily black with golden accents. She pairs this with blue stockings, black and golden boots which have a blue ribbon at the top and a blue messenger bag usually slung across her shoulder. She is 151cm tall.

Background: Annette was born in 1663 to Gustave of the noble House Dominic of Faerghus, a knight in service to the crown and brother to the Baron Dominic. Through her bloodline she bears the Crest of Dominic, one of the 10 Elites of Fodlan. House Dominic possesses a Hero's Relic, the magical hammer Crusher. In 1776 the Tragedy of Duscur occurred, and Annette's father left his wife and daughter in self-imposed exile. Her uncle took care of them and later enrolled her in the Royal School of Sorcery in the capital Fhirdiad. There she met Mercedes, who is her best friend ever since. In 1180, she enrolled in the Officers Academy at the Garreg Mach Monastery and joined the Blue Lions, studying and fighting alongside them. Because she lacked the financial means to attend the Officer's Academy right away, Annette worked to receive a recommendation from the Royal School of Sorcery to bypass the tuition costs. Her natural hard-working personality helped her achieve the goal but gave her a sense of anxiety due to lacking raw talent compared to others. Annette's relationship with her father is strained, as he effectively abandoned her and her mother following the Tragedy of Duscur out of shame of his failure to the Crown. Even though her father assumes a new name, Gilbert, she is instantly able to recognize him and seeks answers for his long absence. He maintains a stubborn front of distance from her, as he believes himself to be unworthy of his wife and daughter's affection for all of his failures. Annette cannot bring herself to hate her father despite this, and still loves him dearly.

Personality: Annette is a cheerful, hard-working and sweet girl. She maintains an air of positivity and is usually the one to raise the spirits of her classmates in dour situations. She has top grades and is skilled at various subjects from magic to mathematics. However, outside of her academical pursuits, Annette is also very clumsy and scatterbrained, tripping over and breaking random objects. She loves to sing, and often hums tunes that she's come up with herself. The lyrics to her songs can be quite unusual however, and sometimes are overanalysed or cause her embarrassment to friends. Annette can sometimes overdo things and feels the constant need to work hard and be useful, saying "I know I should be taking it easy, but that's too hard!"

Likes and dislikes: Aside from singing and studying she likes doing chores, morning walks and getting dressed up. Annette dislikes indolence, dark places, hard to reach places when cleaning and coffee.

Skills and abilities: Annette is an apt mage and is talented in Reason magic (offensive spells). While she usually does not employ them, has a proficiency with axes and heavy weapons and was taught how to use them since young, being born in a house of knights.

Relationships: Annette gets along well with her fellow Blue Lions students (Dimitri, Felix, Sylvain, Dedue, Ashe, Ingrid, Mercedes). Her best friend is Mercedes, whom she calls "Mercie" and the two are usually attached to the hip. Annette is highly protective of Mercedes despite the latter being over 6 years older than her. Sometimes tries to put makeup and dress up the serious Ingrid. Annette has a friendly rivalry with Lysithea over magic and studying.

Trivia: Wants to become a teacher in the future. Has a surprisingly big appetite. Her cooking skills are questionable, once causing an explosion in the monastery kitchen at night. Her birthday is May 9.
