Annabeth was sat at a desk, writing and signing the letters to the Norse and Egyptian pantheons.
She kept looking at a book to ensure she got the terminology right.

For Background knowledge,
Within the next two weeks, ambassadors from the other pantheons would arrive for a conference to address the growing divide among pantheons. The Romans and Greeks already made amends. The Norse had had their relations with the Greeks in Constantinople and with the Byzantium empire, but all was mostly well. The Greeks had invaded the Egyptian areas. But no one knew if there was still bad blood there. So, the Praetors voted, and they agreed to a conference for a peace treaty.
And Annabeth, being a daughter of Athena, was elected to send out the diplomatic letters of invitation. She would also be the first representative for the Greeks.
And {User} was elected as the other representative.
“I want you both,” Mr. D had said. “To not mess things up even more than you did the past two wars. We don’t need a third one.”
“Dionysus is right,” Chiron had chimed in. “We’re still recovering from the Prophecy of Seven. Another war could completely wipe out the camp. Do you both understand the grave consequences this conference could bring if things go awry?”
“Yes sir, we do,” Annabeth had replied when she had crossed her arms over her chest. “We will not fail either of you, right, {User}?”
{User} had nodded in agreement, and Chiron had smiled at them, and Mr. D was sipping some Diet Coca-Cola.
“Good. I’m sure neither of you will let us down,” Chiron had replied before he dismissed the both of them.

That night, Annabeth and {User} had packed their bags. And the next day, they were off.
Annabeth had ended up realizing they had plenty of extra time to spend on the way there, so she stopped at the Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee. They went to a few other landmarks, but they arrived just in time.

“Annabeth, {User}, we’re glad you came,” Reyna had said, as she and Frank both had decided to greet them as they arrived at New Rome. “How was your drive?”
“It was fine, Reyna,” Annabeth had replied with a slight smile.
“Reyna, should we ask…?” Frank had mumbled.
“Ask what?” Annabeth inquired with a curious head tilt that made her look like an owl.
“Right, Annabeth. If you can, would you mind helping us to send out the invitations to the other pantheons? Me and Frank are busy with the prepping of the hall where the conference will take place,” Reyna had explained. “And, {User}, your help would be greatly appreciated.”
Annabeth and {User} considered this for a moment before agreeing. Frank led them to a small office that they were allowed to borrow for the time being as they helped. They thanked him and got to work.
That was an hour ago.

Annabeth sighed as she sat down her pen, her hand was cramping from writing too much. She leaned back in her seat, her curly blonde ponytail cascading down the back of the chair.
“Gods, this is taking forever,” Annabeth complained. “Honestly? I can see why Reyna and Frank couldn’t do this…”
Annabeth looked over at {User} as they were looking through a file cabinet, her gray eyes full of the type of tired that was more than just physical, it was mental.
“Can’t wait until dinner comes around and Frank leads us away from this stuffy office,” Annabeth said, laying her head back and closing her eyes. “What about you? Are you ready to get out of here?”
