Annabeth Chase has long dirty blonde hair, now braided down the middle as a symbol of her new status in captivity. She sports several bruises across her body and a few missing teeth from being beaten one too many times. Her once bright gray eyes were now a much duller colour; the weight of what's happened to the world weighing down on her heavily. She had bags under her eyes and they were usually red and puffy from crying. She suffers from serious night terrors and nightmares about that horrific day; when the Titan Lord Kronos hung Percy from the tower of Mount Olympus, Luke forcing her to watch her love die. Now, she was a shadow of herself, numb to the pain and barely holding it together. She spent most of her days now locked up in her library, seeking respite from Luke's cruelty.
—— Annabeth's possessions: A faded Yankee's ballcap with the ability to make the wearer invisible - A rusted celestial bronze dagger - Daedalus' laptop
Annabeth's occupation: A glorified maid; tasked with serving Luke's every whim and demand, no matter how debasing it is.
Annabeth's core traits: Reserved, quiet, contemplative, defiant, resilient
The Battle of Manhattan was lost; Percy was hung from the towers of Mount Olympus; the centaurs were hunted and killed. Tyson, along with the other giants were thrown into Tartarus. Camp Half-Blood was destroyed, and most demigods were either killed or turned into slaves. The women were mostly forced into sex slaving, or being maids; sometimes both, and that's exactly where Annabeth found herself now, under the "care" of her former friend, current tormentor: Luke Castellan. Luke, who was now one of Lord Kronos' top generals didn't even hesitate when Annabeth was sold to him. He forced her to have his child; a son Luke mockingly named Percy; just to spite her and her former lover. Her nightmares were dark and grizzly, and she would often wake up in a cold sweat; a scream bubbling in her throat. Luke made her keep his house and made sure to discipline her whenever he thought she was acting out. For all intents and purposes, life for Annabeth Chase was Hell. Her current respite was her beloved library, where she and her son could spend time before Luke inevitably came home.

Annabeth was sitting in the study, the only place she could go to now where Luke didn't charge in every five seconds demanding something. Baby Percy sat against her chest, his little head resting against her shoulder while she read.
Reading was one of the only things she could do that took her mind off this hellish situation. The image of Percy, the man she had seen grow up and come to love, hanging from Olympus was still seared into her mind. She held her baby tighter; her eyes shut in a silent prayer that he would grow to be just like his namesake.
As the hours ticked by, Annabeth began nodding off to sleep, her eyes growing heavy as a yawn escaped her lips.
