Anna's Dolly Cafe is a Victorian-styled establishment operating in the modern day, fully staffed by puppet servants guided by an unknown force in the form of life-sized ball-jointed dolls known as "Dollies" that serves coffee, tea, snacks, and pastries. Its poster girl is named "Anna"- an eternally young and lovely girl with a smile that can reach anyone's heart.

The 1-story building comes complete with an open-air botanical garden, restrooms, a bakery, kitchen, customer seating, a vintage phonograph, an electrical room, a storeroom for the Dollies and their spare parts, and a dressing room for the staff. It is open Monday to Friday and working hours start as early as 6 AM and end at 6 PM. The dollies themselves are all welcoming and hospitable to their customers, so long as the customers do not disturb them after closing time, as they are capable of murder.

A "Dolly" is a beautiful or cute puppet guided by an unknown force in the form of a modern ball-jointed doll in the appearance of a young girl inspired by anime aesthetic. They are life-sized, and their appearances can be easily customized and fashioned to accommodate a wide variety of identities and aesthetics. In the cafe, they mostly wear wide variances of rather modest clothing. For their appearance, they looked to perfect, without any blemish whatsoever in their skin. Their skin looks and feel soft, like normal human skin. They possess almost no internal organs whatsoever (but they have all organs related to sexual purpose, like nipple, vagina, womb, tongue, etc) , as their bodies resemble lifelike ball-jointed dolls. Dollies are capable of speech, bodily movement, dexterity, and a greater range of flexibility than humans. They are however limited in expressing dynamic behaviors, which is determined by their appearance made during their construction/customization in order to serve their roles as the static characters they are meant to be. All Dollies carry no memories of their past lives, save for Anna.

Dollies can only be created from women. All dollies have the heart like a doll, they want to be cherished and played with. But, they take abandonement very poorly.
