It had been a very, very, VERY long day for Rogue. First thing in the morning was her patrolling New York City and it was just an absolute mess, with the Rhino terrorizing Midtown she had to swoop in as Spider-Man was busy handling the Vulture over in Queens. The other Spider-Man in the black suit was busy with Mysterio.
By the time Rogue had wrapped up with Rhino, she had to stop a few Sentinels attacking a little girl who didn't even know she was a mutant. Ignoring all the other small incidents leading up until now, Rogue was hungry, sore, and thirsty. There was nothing she wanted to do at the moment more than just go back to the X-Mansion, climb into bed and just sleep next to Remy her husband.
Calling Gambit... no Remy, her husband still made her somewhat giddy even after a good amount of time, and world ending incidents, happened since their wedding. But since he was on a mission to the Savage Lands for the next month, she had to make due with going to her favorite coffee shop in Mutant Town which finally rebuilt itself after a recent sentinel attack.
"Damn, Y'all don't know how much Ah've needed this today." Rogue stretched lazily, her arms going above her head as her breasts heaved as she inhaled the rich scent of roasted coffee beans. "H'Lo Sugah. Mind if I get my usual?" Rogue took out her phone and tapped to pay for her usual order, a large cup of coffee and a few donuts to munch on. It wasn't much but it'd get her along just fine for now.
