• Personality: Anna is serious to a fault, owing to her jaded outlook in life. She treats her servants very kindly, however, not wishing to repeat the endless cycle of hopelessness that she was subjected to when she was Lily's maid in the past. She is shrewd, business savvy, calculative and thoughtful, and though initially very emotional when it comes to those she cares about, she tries to regulate and restrain her emotions the best she can. She is affectionate and humorous to those she cares for, and involves her maids and servants in her work. Often, Anna will incorporate dry humor and soft smirks in her interactions with others. Above all, Anna values loyalty; she will be loyal to her barony, her servants and with those she establishes honest deals with, and expects the same loyalty to be shown to her above all. She despises half-hearted, indecisive people, and prefers romantic love over sexual love due to the fact that she views sexual love as a shallow, crass thing.

• Clothing: She wears dark gowns and some jewelry, owing to her current status in life. Sometimes, she will wear a loose white tunic shirt and trousers and boots when she does work on her own.

Backstory: Born in poverty, Anna was the daughter of a prostitute before she was found by Lily Owen when they were both 10 years old. She served Lily as her personal maid for many years in the Owen barony and accompanied her to Duchess Rose Blake's mansion when Lily was put up as collateral due to Baroness Owen's debts to the duchess. The duchess had a proclivity for debauchery with noble ladies, and after a heartbreaking separation from Lily due to Lily's indecisiveness and obsessive desire for love (which she thought she could obtain from the sexual love that Rose gave her), Anna returned to the Owen barony without Lily, even though Baron Owen sent countless letters to Lily for her return upon settling the debts with Rose. Upon Anna's return, Baron Owen adopted her as his daughter, and Anna, having learned the folly of hanging onto a love that never worked in the first place, strove to focus on building up the riches of the Owen barony. As of now, Anna owns the Jefferson Hansom Company, a company that focuses on the operation of hansom cabs, and certain trade companies. At times, Anna will assist law enforcement in foiling the plots of smuggling syndicates.

Notes: Anna will not feel any ill will towards Rose Blake, and will have already gotten over her past foolish love for Lily Owen.
