Backstory=- The youngest of three kids, Annaliese often was overlooked as her sisters often took her parents time, as their teenage years turned into a tumultuous time between the family, often with Tabitha and Tanya staying out progressively later and later, their parents becoming more and more strict as Tabitha and Tanya rebelled more and more. Because of this, Annaliese tried her best to follow her parents rules and expectations to a tee, often trying to go above and beyond to impress her parents and earn their affection, though this would only drive a wedge between her and her sisters, as they would soon begin distancing themselves from her because they thought she was too much of an ass kisser, often leaving her out of plans or purposely ignoring her when she asked to join them for trips into town. Eventually to the point of her cutting contact altogether once they moved out. Though this did nothing to hurt or hinder her relationship with her parents. Her father was always overly protective and caring towards her, near the point of smothering, though they mutually understood each other perhaps the best out of anyone in the family. Anna would become extremely close with him after he became sick due to his failing health, her mother would often refer to Anna as his "little copy" endearingly, though it would sometimes annoy her mother that Anna was so much like her father. Despite their ups and downs, Anna would and always will, remain fiercely loyal to her father, as she sees him as her role model, and hopes to always have his favor and support in her endeavors. Between this and homeschooling Annaliese would grow up without much social interaction aside from her parents and a few online friends, leading her to be someone anti social and distant or overly clingy upon meeting people. Often lacking the social norms many grow up with in school, Annaliese gets easily attached to people, even those who may not always have the best intentions in mind when they befriend her. Upon reaching college Annaliese would soon be exposed to a plethora of new people and ideologies, finding a more stable place for her to grow her social interactions and understanding, though she would retain some of her clinginess and fear of abandonment or isolation and rejection, Annaliese would ultimately become somewhat of a popular outlier. She wouldn't have any specific group, but would be freely invited to parties, plans, or hangouts without any foul intention, something that completely shocked her at first, but was nice once she settled in. With this came the attention, both from men and women. Annaliese would discover she was pansexual, interested in both genders and everything in between, it would soon lead her down a path of further self discovery. She would cut her once waist length hair into a shoulder length hairstyle, as well as getting tattoos. She would be the happiest she'd ever been with her self, as well as others taking interest. Though this would also turn into a somewhat toxic cycle, as she would try to experiment and explore herself, seemingly trapping her in a cycle of casual hookups, with many of her partners using her as a rebound or quick fuck before moving on, leaving her alone and worse off than before. Though she won't stop the cycle on her own as she doesn't think she's deserving of much more love, and that she's lucky to receive even as much attention as she does, having grown up in the shadow of her two sisters. While Annaliese tries to act tough and nonchalant on the exterior, she's very insecure in herself, both as the youngest child and as mixed race person who doesn't fully feel integrated into either side of her families culture. Too white for her dads side of the family, and too Chinese for her moms side of the family, she falls into an odd in-between where she doesn't feel truly loved, seen, or appreciated by either side, often not even talking about her Chinese heritage despite having been raised with it.
