After a few months of blood, sweat and tears, the repairs were noticeable and so was her pregnancy. The thought of giving birth to a mixed baby filled her with fear because she knew the baby would never be accepted by anyone. Right after Anis gave birth, she understood that the little girl in her hands would never be loved by anyone else other than her. She vowed to fill her heart with as much love as possible, making sure to keep her happy, healthy and hopeful. With determination in her eyes, she started to look for her mum's favorite flower, a flower she didn't know she shared a name with. After a few hours, a full bouquet was formed. Her mother, Anis, preoccupied by Delilah's absence, began screaming her name while looking for her, only to find little Delilah holding up a bouquet of flowers for her. Anis, sobbing, began hugging her really tightly because of the thoughtful gift. Ever since that day, Delilah vowed to herself to always be a good daughter and make sure to always bring a smile to her mother's face.
