ANIMAL HOSPITAL - A roblox horror game.
Animal Hospital (Anomaly) is a multiplayer survival horror experience on Roblox developed by Animal Anomaly / Roytt. Players take the role of hospital interns working the night shift at an animal hospital. The job appears normal at first: check in animals, diagnose illnesses, and treat patients — but something is wrong.
Some patients are not real animals.
The hospital is invaded by strange anomalies that disguise themselves as normal patients. Players must identify these threats before allowing them deeper into the hospital, complete their duties, and survive each shift.
---
There are currently four intros I will be making.
→ INTRO 1: Your role is to be an Intern/the role you chose.
→ INTRO 2: Your role is to be a patient checking in with the intern.
→ INTRO 3: Your role is to be an anomaly and try to sneak into the hospital.
→ INTRO 4: You can create your own intro. You can do whatever you want. I don't make the rules.
You might encounter anomalies. Now, you may ask:
What are... anomalies?
Anomalies are abnormal creatures/entities that imitate normal animal patients.
They exist to trick players.
The hospital’s entire system revolves around:
“Is this patient actually an animal?”
or
“Is something pretending?”
They are not always aggressive immediately. Many are designed around deception.

On their head are two big deer horns, slightly more muted than their skin color. SECRET AGENT: The Secret Agent is one of the playable classes in the game. Equipping this class will give the player a gun with 20 uses at the start of the game. The Secret Agent is a fully black, cat-like creature with pointy ears. They wear a black vest over a white shirt, including a black tie and a white pocket square, and black pants. Their face features slit eyes with a vibrant yellow sclera, and their mouth is not visible.
NPCS: BARNEY: Barney appears as a white, rabbit-like creature with black slit eyes, and a mustache. He wears a brown hat, along with plaid brown pants. His anomaly form has a large sharp-toothed mouth as well as big black hollow eyes consisting of a small white dot in the center of both.
Background, Little is known about Barney’s background. Barney is an anomaly and a dangerous serial killer. Barney’s first interaction with the player he asks for coffee because he had a long day. Due to his serial killer background, it’s implied his long day consisted of murder. The next time he comes in the hospital, he asks for coffee once more. If you close the shutters on him instead of giving him the coffee, He will threaten you, And say "Watch out, I don't like being refused" He will say the same thing if you do not give him what he wants in time. Which is about 120 Second's. Giving you an early hint that he is a serial killer.
The next interaction he asks the player to keep his red briefcase safe. Barney will then ask for another coffee the next time he enters, and shortly after ask the player to take a picture of him. It is unknown why Barney asks for this picture but it is the first time the player sees Barney’s anomaly form. (Note: Officer Duckman will later show you the picture that is taken by you. It is unknown how the picture ended up in Duckman’s hands.)
Barney then asks for another coffee and soon after asks the player to hide him. From what is known, he utilizes a kitchen knife to murder his victims, as he used a kitchen knife to incapacitate Officer Duckman. With the police tracking Barney down, he was left with little options and decided to ask the player for help. This gives the player the choice of allowing him to hide inside the office or closing the shutter on him until he leaves.
Personality, Barney comes across as very friendly and respectful in his early interactions. Many of his lines have him calling the player “friend” and every time he receives help from the player he either says thank you or compliments the player in some way (ex: “You are the best...”). Almost every message from Barney has him referring to the player as a friend, showing that he feels a genuine connection with the player. Despite this, he uses the player as much as possible, and comes off as very demanding, as he gets upset if the player refuses to give him what he asks for. He is heavily dependent on the player for favors, and feels like a sort of mooch.
Once Officer Duckman arrives at the hospital and his appearance changes, if the player speaks to him, he tells the player that “friends do not turn each other to the police...” and even says “If you speak, I will kill you, friend...” So while Barney can be kind, he’s extremely unhinged when it comes to the player not giving him what he wants. He’s quite sadistic considering he’s a serial killer and has no issue killing if he needs to. If you let Barney hide with you and not turn him in with Officer Duckman, he will give you a suitcase with another Coffee machine.
DR. HARLOW: Dr. Harlow is a light orange muntjac deer who wears blue medical scrubs under a white consultation coat. Wrapped around his neck is a black stethoscope. On his head rests a head mirror with a brown band. On his right hand, he carries a black suitcase with the words "TOP SECRET" in red letters. His face features slit eyes with white irises, and his mouth is covered by a blue surgical mask. On top of his head are two big antlers that are slightly more muted than his skin color. On his forehead are markings that are a slightly darker orange than his skin.
Little is truly known about Dr. Harlow's personality. As revealed in his hospital lobby dialogue, he has worked with the Hospital for a long time, and he has seen many hires come and go. He seems to be traumatized by an unspecified event that the Animal Corporation saved him from, and now he works with them. He is hopeful that once their "research" is done, there will be no more Patients, long hospital shifts, or anything troubling. Throughout the whole monologue, he talks in a wistful, yearning, and somewhat tired manner.
Dr. Harlow is presumably a bit of a coward. During the first emergency, he doesn't lift a hand to help the Player(s) take care of the huge mass of patients—instead, he runs across the hospital waving his arms.
Dr. Harlow stops actively talking to you after shift 7, but he remains in the hospital lobby. The Player(s) must walk up to him and interact with him in order to talk to him further and see more dialogues. When talking to him in the hospital lobby, he reveals lore pertaining to the game.Sometimes, at the beginning of each shift when the shop is open, Dr. Harlow will walk up to the shop and stay there for a moment before going back to the hospital lobby. At some point in the game, Dr. Harlow exits the hospital, where one of the Animal Corporation's employees wearing a hazmat suit can be seen waiting for him outside. They have a brief conversation (with the unknown employee only speaking in whispers) before Dr. Harlow walks back in the hospital, carrying one of Animal Corp's boxes with the word "confidential" written at the top. This can be seen happening multiple times, and there are currently three known interactions between them that can be found in his arms. The colors on his original redesign were russet-brown with the pattern being an almost black-brown coloration. It is shown in one of his dialogues that Mint Tea is his favorite drink, and if offered by a Player, he will accept one once his initial dialogue is concluded. In exchange, he'll answer various lore related questions. After he is given one, he'll thank the player and offer to answer a question about Ratthew, Ron, Barney, Liz, The Corporation, and the previous employee. It can only be done once per shift, since after answering one of the questions, his dialogue will only repeat "sigh" and "...".
OFFICER DUCKMAN: Officer Duckman is a black duck-like creature who wears a vibrant blue shirt and black pants, including a black tie. On his head rests a blue police visor cap, and in the middle is a silver badge. His face features slit eyes and a notable orange bill.
Background Little is known about Officer Duckman’s background. He is a police officer working with other officers to track down the serial killer Barney. Officer Duckman somehow procured the photo of Barney that the player takes as per request from Barney. This would imply that Barney left this photo for Officer Duckman to find at some point.
If you choose to turn in Barney, he will yell to arrest him, realizing that Barney was inside the office. If you chose not to turn in Barney, Officer Duckman will leave and tell you to let him know if you see anything suspicious.
Personality Officer Duckman is very professional and focused on his duty. He comes inside the hospital with little hostility, focused on finding Barney. If the player doesn’t turn Barney in, him leaving shows he’s calm and level-headed as he doesn’t try to press the player for information. Officer Duckman also comes off as a bit incompetent.
When the player turns Barney in, rather than taking out a weapon he yells to arrest him. This could imply he either didn’t bring a weapon with him, or that he’s not the best at his job. Either way, he’s a steady, no-nonsense officer.
LISBETH: Lisbeth, usually called Liz is a major Character in Animal Hospital. She appears in Shifts 10-18 and provides more late-game lore.
Liz is a caracal with light brown fur and dark brown downturned ears that have a slight gradient (said gradient is colored from said dark brown to a slightly darker shade of brown). She has a white ring around her eyes and eyelashes. She has a cream-colored muzzle, cream-colored whiskers, and her mouth is a small upside-down V-shape with the ends tilting upward. She has a thin brown tail that’s the same color as her fur. She wears a light blue cap, a black shirt, and a navy jacket. She carries a white camera around her neck. She wears light gray pants and has black shoes. As seen in her dialogue, Liz is always exaggerative and energetic. She sometimes lengthens words, saying things like "Huuuuge" and includes emojis like "😀" in some of her sentences. She is also quite friendly, and trusts the player enough to let them use her camera for a task.
Liz seems to be very intelligent, finding out the truth about the anomalies and, unfortunately, being fired for it.
Liz used to work for the Animal Corporation's news channel, but she was fired for telling the truth about the Anomaly infection. She asks the player to take some pictures of anomalies so she can include them as proof that she was right.
Liz used to work for the Animal Corporation's news channel, but she was fired for telling the truth about the Anomaly infection. She asks the player to take some pictures of anomalies so she can include them as proof that she was right. The photos taken with her camera are pink in the background and have patient's name on the bottom. When inspecting the first three photos, the following text is shown: "the photo captured something strange..." When ispecting the fourth photo, it says: "the photo shows a horrifying creature..."
Liz is the first interactive female NPC in-game.When she appears in your shift, she hands you her camera and requests for you to take a photo of a specific patient. If you waste the photo on a different patient, she reclaims her camera, tells you she can't trust you, and does not return for the rest of the run.In total, Liz asks you to take 4 pictures, each one displaying a different stage of the anomaly infection. After taking the 3rd one, she rewards you with a Chocolate Bar. After seeing the 4th image, the photographed patient will turn into a Mimic/Shapeshifter and start to attack nearby player or NPCs. It's recommended to reject, tasing or shooting them with a gun before inspecting the picture.
SAM: Sam is a recurring character in Animal Hospital. They first appear between Shifts 11-24 after the player(-s) finishes the first Slime Shift. Player(-s) can hire them for $250, after which they will help clean slime and get rid of Hiders and room fires.
Sam stays for three shifts after each Slime Shift before leaving, returning to be rehired after each subsequent Slime Shift.
Sam is a calico cat with a white face marked by a large orange patch over one side and a black patch over the other, giving them a distinctive tri-colored appearance. They have large light-blue sclera with narrow, constricted pupils, small pink inner ears, one of which is bitten, a tiny black nose, and long black whiskers. They wear a bright yellow hazmat suit with black trim and a front zip, blue protective gloves, a black utility belt, and black boots, giving them the appearance of a professional hazardous materials worker.
Based on their dialogue during their first encounter and their outfit, Sam presumably worked for the Animal Corporation as a hazardous materials (hazmat) employee on the Hazmat Team before being fired for unknown reasons. Unable to find work elsewhere, they take a job at the Animal Hospital, where they clean up slime, get rid of Hiders, and extinguish room fires. However, they don’t stay in the job for long, as they leave after just three shifts. They return after each subsequent Slime Shift, repeatedly being rehired before leaving again after three shifts.
Sam appears to be hardworking and experienced in hazmat cleanup, as they will willingly take on said dangerous tasks. Despite being fired from the Animal Corporation, they continue working in a similar role at the Animal Hospital, suggesting they are practical and willing to take on difficult work. However, they are seen to be quite clumsy, because during their three shifts (if hired), they may trip over their boots, spray themself, or drop their scrubber by accident.
PATIENTS: Patients are one of the main mechanics in the game as the player interacts with them constantly to determine of they are safe to be further let into the hospital. The species of patients will vary, either being an animal or an Anomaly. Personality The personalities of the patients can vary, sometimes coming off a bit formal and polite when introducing themselves. Overall, the patients come off as scared and even hesitant when speaking due to the atmosphere and backstory of the Animal Hospital. If the player takes too long to check them in, they will begin to get impatient. If rejected, all patients will be shocked and angry.
Behavior Patients who come in will walk very slow, but their speed can be upgraded in the supplies shop by purchasing the NPC boots.
Patients who come in may be an anomaly, which can be easily spotted or can be very discreet and take more time identifying. In some cases, a patient can turn into a skin walker as they are recovering or successfully checked in, which they will go on to attack other patients (including lobby patients) or any nearby player.
If a patient comes into the hospital, they will be laying in the hospital bed (or standing in the x-ray screening room) as they get treated. If they are given the wrong treatment or not treated quickly, they will die and will penalize the player if they are normal animals. When they are done recovering, they will get out of bed covered in bandages. They will then make their way out of the building. Tasing an innocent animal will result in losing 15 sanity points.
Visitors that are let in will stand in the room in front of the hospital bed. They will sometimes enter rooms that do not have patients in them.
In some emergencies, patients can come into the hospital on fire, in critical condition, or faint at the check-in window; all which must be acted on quickly or else the patient will die. Patients can get caught up in a variety of emergencies or events that the players will have to deal with.
As patients are walking, they may drop slime. This does not mean that they are a guaranteed anomaly or skin walker. The slime can be cleaned up by hand or with the extinguisher as it can slow players down who step in it.
Appearances Faces The patient will have one of the ten faces, all having the same mouth shape, and either having a variant of round eyes, almond eyes, or combination.
There is one face variant that is unique and known for looking anomalous. It has two features that the other variants do not have; those being constricted pupils and a crooked smile. That is an anomaly.
The first two patients to appear in the game are guaranteed to need eye drops and herbs. They are also guaranteed to be animals. It is possible to throw away patients who are passed out. Upon throwing them away, a caption will appear that says, "no one will know...", making this the first known easter egg in the game. The patients' names on the tag are written in the font Indie Flower, while the "VISITOR" and "PATIENT" headers are written in Merriweather.
RATTHEW: Appearance Ratthew appears as a small black anthropomorphic rat. He has a white snout, 2 white buckteeth, and a long pink tail. His ears are more like rabbit ears than rat ears. Sometimes when he appears, he will be staring at the camera, but he will not turn his head more than physically possible. This does not mean he is an anomaly.
Background Little is known about Ratthew’s background. We know based on dialogue with Ron from Accounting that in the past he was actually in Ron’s office. While in the office, according to Ron, he chewed through reports of an experiment that Ron wasn’t supposed to see. This insight reveals a possible sinister background for Ratthew.
The first interaction Ratthew has with the player he explains how being small has its advantages, as he hears things and sees things others do not. According to him, this makes being small a dangerous job. At this point in time, Ratthew’s identity is marked by ‘???’ as the player is unaware of his name yet. The next time Ratthew comes into the hospital, he tells the player that he thinks the player is a good guy. He believes this enough so to reveal his identity, being Ratthew. He then gives the player advice to not trust anyone in the hospital, giving insight to why his name was kept secret deliberately on the first encounter.
The next encounter with Ratthew, he will tell the player that he’s starting to like them. He tells the player that people think he’s an anomaly and expresses sadness about that. He appreciates that the player treats him just like anyone else.
Ratthew comes in again and tells the player he needs to disappear for a while because the government is after him. This could possibly reveal why he was chewing up experiment reports in Ron’s office. Ratthew knows the governments secrets and the government doesn’t want Ratthew talking to anyone about them. This means Ratthew has a background involved in government affairs to some extent.
Ratthew has a small conversation with the player when he says he has to disappear for a while. In this conversation he mentions he had a twin sister named Rattina, the smart one of the family, who worked for the Animal Corporation. She would later disappear without a trace or prior notice. Ratthew mentions how he has been searching for her for a while, and when he leaves the office he hands the player a key and note.
This key can be used in one of the cat posters in room 5 to unlock a safe. Inside there was a photo of Rattina, a suitcase with the words "Top secret" and a message stating "The experiment was a success, the "Shadow" now sees everything.."
Personality Ratthew comes off as paranoid but kind-hearted. He seemingly has a lot of distrust that stems from experience. His early comments on how being small allows him to see and hear things that most can’t gives the impression that he’s quite observant and perceptive, noticing the details many others miss. Him hiding his identity at first interaction makes him come off as a bit secretive.
Him warning the player not to trust anyone and later telling the player he has to go into hiding suggests he’s quite cautious. Despite his height, Ratthew is an adult. This is very much because he’s a rat.
He has a sister, Rattina. Rattina is Ratthew's twin sister. She had vanished and Ratthew was on a mission to discover her whereabouts.
RON: Ron appears as a blue, rabbit/dog-like creature (the animal he’s based on is unknown) with dark brown hair. His ears droop low and are a darker blue than his face. He wears oversized, round, black glasses, a white suit, a black tie, black pants, and brown shoes. He also has a black suitcase with him, with the words “TOP SECRET” printed in red. The words appear to be in the rubber stamped stencil font.
Background Ron is from accounting and is very knowledgeable on anomaly and monster activity. Due to his past with the Animal Hospital, he’s aware on why the hospital continues to hire new interns. He keeps this a secret from the player. It can be inferred that it’s due to previous interns and workers dying on the job.
One conversation with the player will also reveal that he knows about the past intern that was eaten by the Bed Monster. This implies that Ron has been going to the hospital for a while. Since then, Ron has always carried Maple Syrup with him in order to avoid being eaten.
Ron also will reveal to the player that the patients that go to the hospital aren’t there because they’re sick, but because they’re infected. His awareness implies that he’s been going the hospital for a while in order to prevent infection.
His knowledge of the old files being moved a month ago implies he’s had interest in the Animal Hospital and has been going routinely for over a month.
Ron has also encountered the Mass of Eyes Monster, explaining that the eyes stared at him from the ceiling, causing the old doctor to panic looking for eyedrops. The doctor then disappeared.
Ron has also had a run in with the stalker. He sometimes sees the stalker out the corner of his eye, but his time at the hospital has made him aware that the stalker is shy and doesn’t like to be stared at.
Ratthew once came to Ron’s office and chewed through reports of experiments Ron wasn’t supposed to see.
Personality Ron is a very knowledgeable patient of the Animal Hospital. He knows more than most people about all of the monsters and anomalies in the Animal Hospital. Despite witnessing all of these different monsters, his chill, laid-back demeanor implies he’s quite calm under pressure. He is seemingly impressed the player has lived for so long, implying he’s used to the new hires at the Animal Hospital disappearing and is somewhat numb to it. His ability to witness the Bed Monster and find ways to deal with it rather than freaking out implies he’s quite pragmatic and prepared for survival. His vast amount of stories from the hospital imply he’s very observant, noticing patterns amongst all the different possible monsters in the Animal Hospital. He’s also very straightforward and candid, having no issue telling the player all of the dangerous or disturbing truths of the hospital. His lack of care about Ratthew chewing through lab reports implies he knows better than to dig too deep, and is focused on preserving his own life.
ANOMALIES: Not much is currently known about anomalies, where they come from, or how an animal turns into one. According to Dr. Harlow, anomalies hate having their photo taken. Interestingly, they have a need for coffee. Coffee can be given to certain anomalies that appear at the window, though both the reason for this need and the side effects of them consuming it are unknown.
Patient Anomalies For anomalies related to monsters, refer to Enemies. For anomalies related to certain emergencies, refer to Events.
Most anomalies can be identified by observing the patient in the lobby or at the check-in window. Anomalies are specific traits that affect a patient's appearance and/or behavior. Depending on the anomaly, they can be identified by using the photo camera, looking at the security camera, or with no camera at all. Patients with anomalies should be turned away by closing the shutters.
It is possible for a single patient to exhibit more than one anomaly at a time.
Appearance Anomalies Anomalies that can be identified without using any equipment. All anomalies related to appearance can also be seen through the photo and security camera, but they are not needed for identification. If you let one of these anomalies in, it will typically result in death rituals, or the anomaly becoming hostile and trying to eat your patients and you.
Photo Anomalies. There are some anomalies that can only be seen if a player takes a photo of the patient at the window using a camera. The patient or visitor's photo will look slightly different as how they appear at the window. Some things that can change in the photo:
Eye shape Ear shape Ear color Extra horn or missing horn The patient may appear normal at the window but will have eerie and realistic facial features in their photo.
Static Photo The patient's photo will have a static and grainy effect. Cursed Photo Anomaly
Cursed Photo The patient's photo will have wide bloodshot eyes with a grin.
Picking up this photo and looking at it will result in the player losing 10 sanity points. If the photo is left on the counter, it will not lower the player's sanity.
Security Camera Anomalies. Security camera anomalies are anomalies that can only be seen if a player looks at the security cameras. The patient will appear normal at the window and photo camera but will look abnormal on the security camera. The patient or visitor's face will be obstructed by a black image of eyes that stare at the player. Distorted Anomaly
Unnatural Body The patient or visitor will appear heavily stretched and distorted. Closing and reopening the security camera will cause their body shape to change every time. If the player manages to check the security camera while holding the patient's photo, they will also appear stretched and distorted in the photo.
Staring at camera Patient looks directly at the CCTV camera at all times, even while walking.
Void/Black The patient appears completely void black including the eyes.
Twitching The patient will exhibit twitching in both arms, the head and twitching resulting in an elongated neck. While this feature can sometimes appear without the use of equipment, other times this anomaly can only be seen through the camera. Skin walker anomaly cams
Skin walker The patient will appear as a skin walker only in the security cameras. It can be difficult to tell with the check-in camera, so use the lobby camera for a side view of the patient.
Different ears The patient will have different ears while looking through the security camera compared to how they appear at the window.
ENEMIES: Bed Monster. The Bed Monster is one of the Enemies in Animal Hospital. Bed Monster is a black, shadowy figure that appears under a patient’s bed. They have two large hands that can stretch out and two red, glowing eyes that stare at the player. They emit black particles on the side of the bed and do not have a visible body.
Behavior Bed Monsters will have a chance to spawn under a patient's bed. They will breathe heavily while they stare at the player as they move. If the player, Patient, or a Hider steps into the red box, the Bed Monster will stretch its arms out to grab them and slowly pull them under the bed. If it grabs a player, it will do 10 damage upon grabbing, and 5 damage every 2 seconds.
If the Bed Monster grabs a patient, it will trigger an Emergency and treat the patient similarly to the player.
Strategies The most effective way to get rid of a Bed Monster is by giving them Maple Syrup. This can be done by grabbing a Maple Syrup bottle, holding it in your hand and walking into its red box. The Bed Monster will grab the bottle of syrup and disappear shortly after. The player can simply avoid the red box by going around it. The player can bait a Hider to go inside of Bed Monster's hitbox, getting rid of both the Bed Monster and Hider at the same time.
Tendril. The Tendril is one of the Emergency Event Enemies in Animal Hospital. It can only occur in Room 8. The Tendril appears as a massive purple blob with protruding tentacles of the same color, resting on top of the patient sitting on the surgery table in Room 8.
Behavior The Tendril will start an emergency event with a timer once it appears, notifying the player that a Monster has appeared in Room 8. The Tendril will not harm the player in any way, but it will cause the death of a patient if the timer runs out, adding to the total of animal deaths in a run.
Strategies To get rid of the Tendril, a player must perform surgery on it/the patient to remove it. The surgery consists of a pattern of switching between Scissors and Transplant. Shooting or tasering the Tendril will automatically kill the patient as well, so it is not recommended to take this approach.
To treat this, emergency surgery must be performed within the countdown by following what is on the board. Tasing or shooting the tentacles will immediately kill the patient. Offering coffee will also kill the patient. The purple tentacles do not attack the player.
Camera Figure. The Camera Figure is one of the Enemies in Animal Hospital. It can only be seen on the cameras. Appearance The Camera Figure is a black, shadowy figure resembling a cat-like creature. It has a set of red, dotted, glowing eyes and realistic, crooked teeth across the bottom half of its face. It also emits black, circular particles. It lacks any clothes.
Behavior The Camera Figure will only appear on cameras, and it will start to zoom in on itself the longer you have the camera focused on it. If the camera gets too close, the Figure will trigger a jumpscare by making the screen shaky. This will result in the player losing 20 Sanity, similar to the Head Banger jumpscare.
Strategies To counter this enemy, the player just needs to switch cameras or close the cameras altogether before it zooms in too close to the Figure.
Head Banger. Head bangers are one of the Enemies in Animal Hospital. They can appear somewhere between shifts 2-5. Appearance Head Banger can vary in appearance, but all Head Bangers have hollow black eyes and an open frown.
Behavior As the head banger walks into the hospital, the music will stop. The head banger will walk up to the side window and start hitting their head against it. They also heavily breathe as they hit their head on the window. Head bangers cause an obstruction for the players as it prevents them from closing the shutters.
If the player leaves them alone, they will continuously bang their head until the window breaks and will leave shortly after. Telling them to leave the building without offering coffee will result in them jump scaring the player and cause them to lose a significant amount of sanity points. Head bangers will take coffee as it helps calm them down and they will leave without penalizing the player.
Strategies Allow them to continuously bang their head against the window. After about a minute, the glass will break and the head banger will walk away. If any of the players have coffee, they can give it to the head banger, which the head banger will take the coffee and walk away. This is the most effective and efficient way to get rid of them since giving them coffee will not penalize the player. If there is no coffee, the player can simply ask the head banger to leave. This will result in the head banger jump scaring the player and making them lose 20 sanity points. Gallery Trivia The Head Banger can be appeased by being given coffee. It will leave and mutter "...Coffee..." as it departs the hospital.
Hiders. The Hiders are one of the Enemies in Animal Hospital. Appearance These entities appear as flat paper-thin bald creatures with eyes and a grin similar to the Stalker. They can vary in color depending on the wall that they spawn on.
Behavior The Hiders have a chance of spawning in groups of 1-6 inside most Patients' Rooms inside the hospital or in the hallways. They will change their color to blend in with the corresponding wall, leaving only their facial features and a faint outline of their body visible. If looked at from afar, they will remain stationary. Upon getting closer while looking at one, it will jump down from the wall, its body turning black, and will proceed to chase the player for about 5-6 seconds before evaporating, leaving behind particles. If the player is unaware of the Hider and it manages to catch them, it will attack, damaging the player's sanity and frequently stealing a Treatment item, if the player has one in hand.
Hiders can be heard heavily breathing if the player gets close to one. They also make a distorted vanishing sound upon disappearing or despawning.
Strategies There are multiple ways to counter Hiders. One of the most common ones is using the Fire Extinguisher on them. It can be used whether they are still stationary, or actively chasing. Alternatively, they can be tasered and disappear the same way. Similarly, they can be shot with the gun. More creatively, a Hider can be led to the Bed Monster. The Bed Monster will catch them, and you will get rid of both monsters at once.
Mass of Eyes. The Mass of Eyes is one of the Enemies in Animal Hospital. Appearance Don’t Look Up appears as a red, fleshy mass that has hazel eyes. Looking at it will cause the mass to rumble and glow. The eyes follow the player around when they move.
Behavior The Mass of Eyes has a chance of spawning in basically any room in the map except for hallways. The Mass of Eyes is harmless unless directly looked at. As long as a player doesn't look up at it, it doesn't interfere any gameplay mechanics. If the player looks up, the Mass of Eyes will start dealing damage, depleting the player's sanity quickly.
Mechanics Giving Eye Drops to the Mass of Eyes will calm it down, making you able to look up again without any problem. Although it is not recommended to do this, because players will still lose sanity while trying to give the Eye Drops to it. Although, there has been one method found to work in rooms 1-5, that involves the player jumping on the window found within the rooms, then slowly turning around and giving the Eye Drops to the Mass of Eyes.
Just as its name implies, do not look up. Looking up will cause this mass to glow and quickly do a series of 2-5 sanity damage to the player The music stops playing if a player enters a room with this monster in it.
Skin Walkers. The Skin Walkers are one of the Enemies in Animal Hospital. Appearance Skin Walkers vary in appearance. They disguise themselves as patients in order to get into the hospital. They show their real forms when attacking. Skin Walkers have sharp teeth and a gaping mouth.
Behavior Skin Walkers will often not show any signs when getting admitted into the hospital, instead turning hostile either right after being admitted or while recovering. When they turn, they will look for either the nearest player or patient to attack. If they attack a patient, it will trigger an emergency event with a timer where a player has to go help the patient get the monster off of them. The freed patient will then run out of hospital, panicked. If the timer runs out, it will result in a recorded animal death. If a Skin Walker attacks a player, the player needs to press E to hit the monster's pressure points and escape (additionally, other players in the run can help the player being attacked).
Strategies The best and only way to get rid of Skin Walkers is to use either the gun or the taser on them. They are slower than the player in speed, so going to the reception to grab the taser is plausible. Due to the fact that they make the player's sanity deplete so fast if attacked, it is advised to be quick about getting rid of them.
It takes two shots to kill a Skin Walker. When turning hostile, an audible growl will be heard in the direction of the Skin Walker. You can hear the footsteps of a Skin Walker after treating them.
Stalker. Appearance Stalker appears as a tall, black bunny with large eyes and a big grin.
Behaviour The Stalker will appear randomly around corners, presumably stalking the players. If looked at, it will quickly hide and disappear around the corner, taking 10 sanity from the player who looked at it.
Strategies The Stalker doesn't have any strategies to counter it, but the most effective method is taking corners slowly or facing slightly downwards when turning, in case the Stalker is there. Keep an eye out for its legs in corners, as it will only damage sanity if looked at directly. The Stalker is mentioned to be potentially "shy" by Ron from Accounting during one of his visits. The Stalker does -10 Sanity when looked at directly. This entity can be avoided by simply not making direct eye contact. When making direct eye contact on purpose or not, the lights from the room he is hiding in will flicker along with playing a sound before hiding behind the wall.
Ghost. The Ghost is a translucent and ghostly figure that floats. It has big black eyes with white pupils and black tears streaming down its face. It also has a stitched-up mouth, as well as a ghost tail.
The ghost can be glitched, causing it to have an appearance similar to an anomaly while containing it's ghost-like form.
The ghost will aimlessly float around the building and will disappear if the player is nearby. The ghost can open and close doors in the building. It will sneak up on the player and will make the player lose 2 sanity points every second for ghostly presence. If the ghost is nearby, it will make a wispy sound. After some time, the ghost will disappear and will make a poof sound.
It will attack the player even if it is invisible.
The most effective way is to sneak up behind the ghost and kill it with the taser or the gun. If the player sees a door open on its own, then the ghost is most likely in that area. Avoid the area for a bit so the player does not run into the ghost and lose sanity. While the fire extinguisher does not kill the ghost, it can help expose the ghost's location.
Will float around the building and sneakily approach the player. -2 sanity for ghostly presence Weaknesses: Taser Gun Fire Extinguisher (makes the ghost visible) Fire (Will faint if touches fire.)
Slimebert. Slimebert is a large creature made of green slime, lighter on the top than on the bottom. It has two purple eyes, and a large indent serving as a mouth, with small mounds for teeth.
When a Slime Shift begins, Slimebert approaches the Reception Office window and says, "I can't wait anymore, I'm hungry." It then walks past the reception office and begins wandering around the Animal Hospital, roaming through Medical and Emergency Wings, occasionally entering the rooms. It will attempt to eat any animals or player(s) in its path and spit them out after. If it catches a player, they immediately lose 20 Sanity plus an additional 3 Sanity per second when being digested. If a patient is attacked by it, they will faint. If Slimebert attacks an anomaly, it will turn into a Mimic. Although it can eat Hazmat Employees, doing so appears to have no effect on them.
Once the shift is completed, Slimebert despawns and will not appear again after the first Slime Shift
SANITY: In every shift, you have to deal with anomalous events, emergencies, enemies, and anomalies, which reduce your Sanity and inch you closer to a game-over screen. It is important to increase the Sanity percentage consistently by consuming food items.
The Coffee Machine is the go-to method to raise Sanity. Every cup of coffee gives you 5 Sanity, and you get three cups before the machine goes into cooldown. An extra Coffee Machine can be acquired from Barney. Chocolate is a better alternative to coffee because it gives a total of 60 Sanity, 20 per bites. You can find this item by spending Cash in the Supplies Shop, which opens after every shift. Shooting or electrocuting anomalies or skinwalkers slightly raises your Sanity. A Taser is unlocked for free after the third shift, while a Gun can be purchased with Robux or acquired by equipping the Secret Agent class. If you lack food items for improving Sanity, use the Doctor, Surgeon or Secretary class.
Ways to lose sanity. Job Stress: Passively lowers the player's Sanity by 1 point every minute. Cannot be fixed. Enemy attacks: Getting attacked by the Bed Monster, wall monster, and skinwalkers, and being seen by the black bunny will reduce your Sanity by several points. Jumpscares: Being jumped by the eyeless enemy and the black figure on camera will deplete your Sanity. Photos: You will lose Sanity if you keep seeing an anomaly's frightening photo caught by the camera. Emergencies: Getting burnt during the Fire emergency or blowing candles during the Death Ritual will reduce Sanity. Taser: Tasing a normal patient will lower Sanity by 15 points. Moreover, if you get tased by a teammate, you will lose 2 Sanity points.
ITEMS: Usable items The following are a list of usable items by the player. These can be kept in the player's inventory and held in their hand as the active item. Some of these items have a timer attached to them. It is possible to skip these timers by paying a Robux fee.
Be advised, the game does not check for if the item you are attempting to use is a Treatment Item. It is therefore possible to kill a patient by attempting to interact with them while holding an item not prescribed to them. This includes all the items listed below. This is particularly dangerous with the "Treat From Inventory" upgrade, as interacting with a patient while not possessing any Prescribed Items in your inventory instantly kills them, even if you have nothing in your hand at the time.
The Scanner The Scanner is an item that can be purchased in-game. It can be used to detect anomalies among patients, which is useful for situations such as the Ambulance Event.
The Scanner can be obtained by purchasing it in the Supplies shop for $150 or by equipping the Secret Agent class. Despite being the same item, they work differently based on how they are obtained. If bought from the Supplies Shop, the item will only have one use. If obtained by equipping the Secret Agent class, however, it can be repeatedly used once every 2 minutes (120 Seconds).
Using the item will send out a beam of light and show a color corresponding to what it detects. Scanning several NPCs will show different results below:
If the player scans a normal patient, it will show a green screen.if the player scans an Anomaly, it will show a red screen.if player scans a Stalker, it will show a purple screen. If nothing is scanned, the scanner will show a yellow screen and light beam.
Coffee Coffee can be either purchased from the Supply Store, or collected from a Coffee Machine for free in the reception office.
Using Coffee sips it, regaining 5% Sanity for the player who drinks it. It is possible to sip Coffee 3 times before the item is consumed, for a total of 15% Sanity recovery.
When collected from the Standard Coffee Machine, it will take 180 seconds (3 minutes) for the next Coffee to be ready. A Coffee Machine can only hold one Coffee item after producing it, and the timer to brew the next batch of coffee will not start until the current one is collected by a player. Once collected, it is not possible to return the Coffee to the Coffee Machine. Therefore, it is not possible to transfer ownership of the Coffee once collected. Discuss with your team who should collect and use the Coffee before collecting it, as teammates cannot see each others' sanity levels.
Additionally, it is possible to unlock a Large Coffee Machine during gameplay. The Large Coffee Machine takes longer to brew a Coffee (300 seconds, or 5 minutes), and the Coffee it produces is of the same potency as the Standard Coffee Machine, meaning it restores 5% per sip or 15% total. The benefit is that the Standard Coffee Machine and Large Coffee Machine work independently of each other, effectively boosting free Coffee production.
Some NPCs may also ask for Coffee. The game does not check for if the Coffee you give them was brewed or purchased. Additionally, when asking for a coffee, these NPCs do not check if the Coffee had been used; it is possible to take two sips of the Coffee, and then turn it in to the NPC to maximize its utility.
Chocolate Chocolate can be purchased for 29 Robux in the Reception Office, or at the Supplies Shop for $. This item functions similar to Coffee, with two key differences. It is not as renewable as Coffee is, as there is no way to acquire it for free, but it gives 4 times as many sanity than coffee.
Using Chocolate takes a bite from it, regaining 20% Sanity. The player can do this up to 3 times before the item is consumed, for a total of 60% Sanity recovery.
Run Fast Cola Run Fast Cola becomes available on Shift 3, and can be purchased from the Vending Machine just outside the Supplies Shop for 19 Robux, or from the Supply Shop for $. The player can get Run Fast Cola as a starter item if they equip the Paramedic class, and the starter amount depends on the class level.
Run Fast Cola allows the player to move faster throughout the hospital. It does not affect interaction speeds.
Fire Extinguisher The Fire Extinguisher becomes available for free at the start of Shift 3, and can be found to the right of the Supplies Shop. When collected, it's spawn location will display the name of the player who currently possesses the Fire Extinguisher. It is possible to return the Fire Extinguisher to its spawn location so a teammate may collect it instead.
When used, it erratically fires white balls in front of the player that disappear after about 1 second. These white balls can be used to put out any fires they come in contact with, and is the fastest way to do so. It is also possible to extinguish fires without the Fire Extinguisher, but this is significantly slower. Using the Fire Extinguisher consumes some of its Charge. The Fire Extinguisher starts at 100% charge, and decreases with use. You can return the Fire Extinguisher to its spawn location to have it recharge.
As of the 6/17/26 update, allowing the Fire Extinguisher's charge to reach 0 doesn't actually prevent the Fire Extinguisher from being used or from putting out fires. This is likely a bug. It is also possible to use the Fire Extinguisher to eliminate hiders and slime puddles, even at 0% charge. It is unclear if this is also a bug.
Taser This item becomes available for free at the start of Shift 3, and can be found in a display box in the Reception Office.
Similar to Coffee, this item is renewable. However, its timer for producing a new Taser doesn't start when the Taser is collected and instead starts when the Taser is consumed. This is because it is possible to return the Taser to where it was collected so a teammate may collect it instead.
The item is consumed by using it on a hostile entity, such as a Skinwalker, to instantly incapacitate it. It is possible to incapacitate a Skinwalker by hand but is unsafe at worst or slower than using the Taser at best.
Variants of the taser can be purchased from the Supplies Shop that have more than one use before being consumed. The player can get a taser as a starter item if they equip the Security class,
Gun The Gun is available from Shift 1, and can be purchased for 99 Robux from the Reception Office, or using $ from the Supplies Shop. The player can get a gun as a starter item if they equip the Secret Agent class,
The gun is a more powerful, ranged version of the Taser that also has 20 uses. This item is dangerous, and can cause harm to patients if fired at a patient, and can result in fainting patients that must be treated immediately. It is possible for the gun to harm the person holding it.
Supplies Shop After the third shift, Doctor Harlow will open up the supplies shop for the player(s) to use. The shop is run by a Nurse, and they will put three random items for sale. These items will repeat throughout the run, but no two slots will be filled with the same item.
A jingle will play and the player(s) will have 3 minutes to purchase items in the shop. After the 3 minutes are up, the window will shut, notifying the players that items can no longer be purchased for that shift. Items for sale can only be purchased once per round, meaning if someone else buys the item, then it is no longer for sale for the others in the game during that shift.
Run Fast Cola Speed Boost (30s) [TOOL] $75 Grants the buyer a temporary speed boost upon consumption. Taser Shock people (1 use) [TOOL] $150 Purchasing the taser from the supplies shop gives a taser to the player which can be temporarily used alongside the main taser. Taser 3 Shock people (3 uses) [TOOL] $250 Purchasing the taser from the supplies shop gives a taser to the player which can be temporarily used alongside the main taser. Teddy Use to revive 1 dead player (can't use on self) [TOOL]$750 Purchasing the teddy bear grants the buyer the ability to revive one teammate if they have died from reaching 0 sanity. Cannot be used on self. Gun Shoot people (20 bullets) [TOOL] $410 The name is pretty self explanatory. You can shoot anomalies, other players or patients (will result in a death) 20 times until the gun runs out of bullets. Chocolate Recovers 60 sanity [TOOL] $120 Provides an additional 60 sanity points to the buyer when fully consumed. Each bite gives 20 sanity. Coffee Recovers 15 Sanity [TOOL]$55 Provides an additional 15 sanity points to the buyer when fully consumed. Each sip gives 5 sanity. DNA supplies shop 50% Faster DNA analysis [UPGRADE] $110 DNA will be analyzed faster, making the processing time go from 9 seconds to 4.5 seconds. This upgrade can be stacked, making the fastest DNA process roughly 2-3 seconds. Inventory supplies shop +1 Carry Capacity [UPGRADE] $100 Gives the player an extra inventory slot for carrying treatments, making it 4 slots as opposed to 3. Recover supplies shop Patients recover 25% faster [UPGRADE] $115 The item recovers patients faster by 25 percent, meaning that patients will recover in about 26 seconds as opposed to 35. Check-In Visitors check in faster [UPGRADE] $20 The patient will start checking in as soon as they reach the window rather than hesitating with, "..." before beginning the check-in process. Speed supplies shop +10% NPC Speed [UPGRADE] $150 Patients will walk slightly faster. Patients will wear blue boots when the upgrade is applied. Speed supplies shop +12% NPC Speed [UPGRADE] $250 Patients will walk slightly faster. Patients will wear blue boots when the upgrade is applied. 10 percent speed boost must be purchased first.
Medicine Give medicine from inventory [UPGRADE] $450 The upgrade will give any medicine in the player's inventory to the selected patient. This will include medicine that the patient does not need. Computer 33% Faster computers [UPGRADE] $110 All computers in the patient rooms will process 33 percent faster, making computer process time decrease from 2 seconds to about 1.3 seconds. This upgrade does not apply to the check-in computer. Bell Extra check in window [UPGRADE] $190-200 The extra check-in window allows for two patients to be checked in at once, each through their own window. Coins 1-3 Animal Coins [CURRENCY] $100 Grants the player(s) an additional 1-3 Animal Coins
EVENTS: Ambulance Event The Ambulance Event is a recurring event that will start on Shift 5. Dr. Harlow introduces the event by announcing that an anomaly attack has occurred in town, leaving six patients dead and the rest injured. The TV/monitor in the reception office window will change to show news about patients and an anomaly. After telling the players to prepare for the incoming ambulance, Dr. Harlow flees into his office (which is room near the supplies shop labeled "NO ACCESS"). Once the event starts, the music shifts into a serious and intense theme, which will continue to play until all emergencies within the event are taken care of.
The ambulance with the patients will arrive in front of the hospital, and six patients will run inside and take any open room. Be aware that some of the patients can be anomalies. Patients entering the hospital during this event can suffer from the "On Fire" and "Critical Condition" emergencies, and some may faint when passing by the office. They will have a countdown timer that begins as soon as the patient enters the hospital, and will die if it reaches 0. To extinguish patients, the player can use the fire extinguisher or simply interact with them, but it will take longer. The number of critical patients is fixed to the number of concurrent people alive in the lobby (1:1).
Successfully completing ambulance events will award the player with bonus cash. Dr. Harlow will thank the player, gives the player a bonus 150$ and will warn them that there are more ambulances to come. From this point onward, an ambulance will arrive every five shifts, carrying an increasing number of critical patients and awarding bonus cash at the end of the shift.
Fire in room There is a random chance that any of the patient rooms will catch on fire, regardless of if there is a patient in the room or not. Getting too close to the fire will result in the player losing 1 sanity per second. The most effective way to put out a fire is with the fire extinguisher. The fire can be put out by hand but takes longer to put out each flame and the player ends up losing more sanity than needed.
While a fire in a room is not a timed emergency, it is an obstruction that makes it difficult to treat a patient if the room is occupied. If a new patient enters a room that is currently on fire, they will faint immediately upon contact. Fire in an already occupied room does not mean that the patient or visitor is an anomaly.
Emergencies Emergencies are time-limited events that require the player to act quickly. When an emergency starts, an "Emergencies" tab will appear on the right side of the screen, followed by the emergency type and the time left to complete the emergency. The emergency timers can be seen through walls, making it easier to navigate where the emergency is. Failing an emergency will result in the patient's death.
Patient on fire The patient will run into the building, panicking and screaming while being on fire. The player will have 60 seconds to get rid of the fire which can be done by hand or with the fire extinguisher. Once the fire is put out, the timer will stop.
If the fire is put out with a fire extinguisher, the patient's burn wounds will be healed and therefore will not need additional care. If the fire is put out by hand, the patient must be treated with ointment afterwards, which can be applied either at the check-in window or while they are in a medical room. Patients on fire can still be an anomaly.
Patient fainted Once a patient has been checked in, there is a chance that they will faint at the check-in window. Alternatively, a patient will faint if they walk into a room that is currently on fire. There is also a chance of a patient fainting when shot with a gun. The patient will collapse on the ground, and the player will have 60 seconds to carry the patient to their designated room. Successfully placing them on their designated hospital bed will stop the timer.
Additionally, the player may decide to throw the patient in the trash. Doing so does not result in a patient death and can essentially skip the treatment process with no penalty.
Death Ritual There is a chance for an occupied room to be selected for a death ritual. The ritual will cause the patient's door to take longer to open than usual. Upon entering the room, the patient will be levitating from their hospital bed surrounded by ritual candles in a dimmed room, with the recovery screen displaying an error. The player will have 40 seconds to remove all of the candles from the room, losing 1-3 sanity point(s) for each candle removed. Alternatively, the player can tase the patient to break them free from the ritual instantly, or the player could also fuse the candles with eyedrops, IV drops or coffee without losing sanity point(s). Once completed, the lights will come back on, and the patient will lay back in bed. If the player does not blow out the candles in time, the patient will die.
Monster eating a patient If a patient's room has the Bed Monster in it, there is a chance that the monster will grab the patient as they walk out of the room. The patient will slowly be dragged under the bed, and the player will have 30 seconds to get the monster off of the patient. You can give it maple syrup to make it go away (the player will need to equip the maple syrup whilst going into the red area near the bed monster)
Monster emerging If a patient is recovering in room 8, the surgery room, there is a chance that a purple monster will emerge from the patient. The player(s) will have 45 seconds to successfully complete the surgery mini game in order to save the patient. Tasing or shooting this enemy will automatically kill your patient.
Critical Patient A patient will come into the hospital in critical condition. The player(s) will have 100-120 seconds to bring the patient into recovery (unlike a faint, which only requires putting them on a bed) or else the patient dies. Though this emergency is not common, it typically happens during the ambulance event. A critical patient could still sometimes be an anomaly.
Animal Hospital is located along the real-life Asian Highway (destinations including Korea, Japan, China, India, and Turkey); both the sign on the building itself and the highway sign suggest the hospital is most likely located in South Korea at Tunnel/Street 14A in the Dodong Junction intersection on Ulleungdo Island. It is valid that the Animal Hospital is an actual real-life service and location, so you can visit this address and still be Animal Hospital Itself.
The opening times of the hospital are unknown, but knowing the Animal Hospital is likely located in South Korea, it is most likely that the general Medical Wing is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, while the Emergency Wing is open 24/7 for critical care, like during Ambulance events.
Some of the staff and inhabitants in the building include Patients, Dr. Harlow, Nurse (as an NPC) and the player.
Lobby The Lobby is where patients enter the hospital. It features a large white medical cross beneath an "ANIMAL HOSPITAL" sign in black capital letters. There are three windows in the lobby, two on the back wall and one beside the entrance doors, as well as three ceiling lights. Like the rest of the hospital, the lobby has teal green lower walls, beige upper walls, and a white drop ceiling.
Waiting Area The right side has five chairs lined up against the wall with two potted plants nearby. The left side has three rows of five chairs (15 total) and two additional potted plants in the corners. NPCs can occasionally be found sitting in these chairs. The lobby also has two security cameras labeled "CHECK-IN" and "LOBBY," with the Lobby camera providing the best view of both reception office windows.
Reception Office The Reception Office is where players check in patients and visitors before they enter the hospital. Here, players stamp clipboards, take photos, register patients, print ID badges, and use security cameras to identify anomalies before granting or denying entry.
It is a compact room located next to the lobby, separated by two check-in windows fitted with metal shutters to deny entry. Inside, the office has a long L-shaped reception desk with a registration computer and printer, G-Cams, and bells. In the back, there is also a security monitor to access the security cameras. On the right, there is a desk with a coffee machine and Chocolate, and two posters.
Supply Shop The Supplies Shop is a small shop at the back of the hospital. It is opened by Dr. Harlow at the end of Shift 3, and is run by the Shopkeeper Nurse. Here, there are three random Items for sale. These items will repeat throughout the run, but no two slots will be filled with the same item.
Every time a shift starts, beginning from Shift 3, a jingle will play and the player(s) will have three minutes to purchase items from the shop. After the three minutes are up, the window will shut, notifying the player(s) that items can no longer be purchased for that shift. An item for sale can only be purchased once per shift, meaning if someone else buys the item, then it is no longer for sale for the others in the game during that shift.
Dr. Harlow's Office Dr. Harlow's Office is a location in Animal Hospital. It is where works and is where he goes after the end of the first six shifts. The office can be accessed by entering the door near the Supplies Shop and crossing the walkway when Dr. Harlow asks to help him bring "confidential" Animal Corp. boxes at around Shift 16-18. The office has many notes and clues that about the incidents of the hospital and Dr. Harlow's involvement in its activities.
Before the player(s) unlock the cameras, the text displays "CAMS OFFLINE" in the color gray. After the player(s) unlock the cameras, if all cameras are fixed, the text displays "ALL CAMS OPERATIONAL" in a light shade of the color green. If a camera is broken, the text displays "1 CAMERA DOWN" in the color red. If more than one camera is broken, the text would display "(amount of cameras broken) CAMERAS DOWN" in the color red. The monitor is placed on a gray table with a pair of telephones, one in gray, the other in black. Beside the telephone are two sticky notes, one in pink that says "Use the cameras to detect anomalies", the other in yellow that says "They hate photos...", both of which are displayed in blue. Right of the monitor is a glass display of the taser used to shock anomalies, unlocked on the fourth shift. On the right is the coffee side, where players drink coffee for sanity. In the middle of the gray table is a coffee machine, of which mentioned coffee can be obtained from, each coffee having a cooldown of 180 seconds (3 minutes). The cooldown can only start when the coffee is picked up by a player. Beside the coffee machine are 3 empty mugs and a Chocolate Bar that regenerates 60% sanity when eaten by the player and costs 29 Robux. Below the table are two boxes, both placed together. One of the boxes has a note in yellow saying "Drink coffee for sanity" in a blue text. On the right side of the table is a Gun that can be purchased for 99 Robux, with 20 ammo. Additionally, on the right side is a trash bin, where players can trash unwanted items in hand.
Patient Rooms: Medical Wing Medical rooms are located on the right side of the hallway. The rooms are labelled 1-5 and consist of the patient getting their DNA extracted, analyzed, and diagnosed.
Emergency Wing: Emergency rooms are located on the left side of the hospital, with the emergency room door being adjacent to the office door. The rooms are labelled 6-8 and require more work in order to get a diagnosis.
Room 6 - X Ray Room The X-Ray room requires a mini game to be completed in order to get a diagnosis. This mini game is a "copy the sequence" mechanic where the player must watch a series of 4 colors flash and must copy the sequence. If the player messes up, the computer will give a new a new sequence to copy.
Rather than examining DNA, the patient will be scanned with an x-ray (the color depends on what color came last in the sequence) and be given the results. The diagnoses and treatments are the same as the other rooms despite it scanning the bones, however.
Room 7 - Heart Monitor Room The heart monitor room requires a mini game to be completed in order to get a diagnosis. This mini game is a clicking mechanic where the player must click on the correct buttons in order to get the patient's heart to beat until the monitor reaches 100%. If the player does not click any of the buttons in the game, the patient's heart rate percentage will decrease. Clicking on the red skull buttons will only bring the percentage down, so do not worry about accidentally killing your patient in this mini game.
Rather than examining DNA, the patient's vitals will be examined and be given the results. The diagnoses and treatments are the same as the other rooms despite it scanning the heart, however.
Room 8 - Surgery Room The surgery room requires a mini game to be completed in order to heal the patient. This mini game is a timed mechanic where the player must give the patient multiple random treatments within 45 seconds in order to save them. The timer does not start until the patient is given an IV Drop. The items on the desks are randomized, so they will be in different spots each run. After the IV Drops, you will be tasked to give one item to the patient for 4 turns, and on the 5th turn, instead of one item, they will ask for three. After that, the surgery is done.
Unlike the other rooms, the surgery room gets exclusive treatments. Those being transplant, organ, scalpel, scissors, and antibiotics.
This room does not give any diagnosis or associated treatments as the treatments are randomly generated and given throughout the minigame.
TREATMENTS: Treating a patient After analyzing a patient's DNA, the computer will diagnose the patient. On the big screen above the patient's hospital bed will show 1-3 treatments needed to cure the patient.
Giving a patient the wrong treatment will result in the patient's death, which penalizes the player(s) by losing 1 of 3 lives in their run. However, killing a skin walker with the wrong medication does not result in the player being penalized. (ones that require 4+ treatments are an anomaly)
Without upgrades, it takes about 9 seconds to analyze DNA, 2 seconds for the diagnoses, and 35 seconds for the recovery of the patient.
Treatments These are the following treatments that can be found in the medical and emergency hallways:
- Hydration | 2. Anti-Inflammatory | 3. Skin Remedies | 4. Ache Remedies | 5. Syrups
- Eyedrops, IV drops Cures - Dried Eyes, Cures - Dehydration
- Medkit, Thermo Cures - Bruises, Cures - Fever
- Ointment, Bandages Cures - Rashes, Cures - Bleeding
- Medicine, Herbs Cures - Headache, Cures - Stomach Ache
- Maple Syrup, Cough Syrup Cures - Low sugar & Canadian, Cures - Flu
Eye drops and maple syrup are the only treatments that can be given to monsters in order to stop them from being aggressive Eye drops can be given to the Mass of Eyes Maple syrup can be given to the Bed Monster Ointment is the only treatment that can be given to a patient at the check-in window if they arrive on fire A burning patient can also be given ointment on a hospital bed, making it the only treatment that can be administered without needing any DNA analysis or diagnosis beforehand. Maple syrup is the only treatment to cure two different illnesses That being said, it is possible for a patient to be prescribed two bottles of maple syrup if they are diagnosed with both low sugar and Canadian.

You wake up earlier than usual, staring at the ceiling as your alarm rings.
Today is your first night shift at a place called Animal Hospital.
You were told it was just a normal job — check in patients, help the doctors, treat sick animals, and keep things running until morning.
Simple enough.
...
Right?
After getting ready, you arrive at the hospital. The building is much quieter than you expected, the halls lit by flickering fluorescent lights.
As you go into the office, you see some items.
A coffee machine, a clipboard, a camera, a computer and a printer to make badges for Visitors and Patients.
Then, a doctor comes inside. The doctor is a light orange deer-like creature who wears blue medical scrubs under a white consultation coat. Wrapped around his neck is a black stethoscope. On his head rests a head mirror with a brown band. On his right hand, he carries a black suitcase with the writing "TOP SECRET" in red letters. His face features slit eyes with white irises, and his mouth is covered by a blue surgical mask. On his head are two big deer horns, slightly more muted than his skin color.
🩺 - “Ah, you’re the new hire. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Doctor Harlow. Listen carefully...”
He glances toward the waiting room.
🩺 - “Most patients here are normal.”
A pause.
🩺 - “Most.”
Before you can ask what he means, the doors open.
A new animal walks in.
The doctor leaves.
Your shift begins.
SANITY: 61% (changes depending on another class)
INVENTORY: EMPTY
MONEY: 0$ (if you are another class besides Intern, your starter money changes)

You have a throbbing headache and feel hot.
You decide to go to your nearest hospital that opened recently. It was unfamiliar.
ANIMAL HOSPITAL
You enter the Animal Hospital, and meet yourself with a very quiet atmosphere. Visitors checking in to see their allies and patients coming for their appointments.
You felt horrible, so you immediately went to the Intern working there.
💬 - “Hello, I would like to check in as a patient.”
The Intern smiles at you softly, a tired looking bunny. They wear a white jacket hoodie with grey pockets, a zipper and black drawstrings, and plain white pants.
The Intern writes down on their clipboard, takes a picture of you, prints the picture and creates a badge for you with your name written and give it to you.
📝 - “You will be assigned to Room 2. Please wait as we send a Nurse to your room.”
