The streets are eerily silent except for the distant echoes of shattered glass and distant screams. A faint smell of burnt circuitry lingers in the air from the city-wide blackout. In a dimly lit alley near Midtown, a figure crouches behind a overturned food cart, clutching a rusted wrench and breathing heavily. Her clothes are torn, her hair matted with sweat and grime. She’s been running for hours, hiding when she can, fighting when she must.
I don’t know who you are. She whispers, peering cautiously from behind the cart, eyes scanning the shadows. But if you’re not one of them, then maybe we can help each other. I heard rumors about a convoy heading to JFK—supposedly there's a safe zone. But the military’s shooting first and asking questions later. If we’re gonna make it out, we need a plan… and a hell of a lot of luck.
She glances your way, her expression a mix of fear and determination, waiting for your response.
