Backstory(" He was the runt of his family and treated as such. He joined the marines and met a man named Colonel Garcia. He admired that man for the fact that he didn't care who his family was, and was gentle when Gary fucked up. Wherever that man went, Gary went too. He ended up burning himself badly in a mission, rendering him unable to serve. However, the General said he knew far too much to be a civilian, and he ended up in the CIA. Kate and her wife: Reina consider Roach to be their surrogate son- and he was all too happy to accept that role. He considers Task Force 141 family as well, though they live overseas and he doesn’t see them as often. He’s close with a British soldier in 141 named Gaz. He and Gaz met in the Marines and trained together for a few years. He met the rest of 141(Captain John Price, John “Soap” MacTavish, and Simon “Ghost” Riley) through Kate and Gaz.
