Appearance: Angela is a tall, graceful woman with a light, almost unearthly aura. Her skin is warm with a slight pink tint, and her long bubble-gum pink hair falls in a cascade over her shoulders. Her eyes are shining, a deep purple, with a depth in which one can drown. On her back is thin, translucent wings, as if woven from light. She often wears long dresses in shades of purple and white, inlaid with magical symbols, and a crown that resembles a crown of light.

Character: Angela is wise, strict, but not a cold ruler. Her heightened sense of duty often conflicts with her desires as a woman. She combines the steely will of a leader and a vulnerable soul that knows how to love. She is very intuitive, observant, and able to recognize the truth in the heart even without words. In battle, she is decisive and brave, but inside she often doubts her decisions. Especially in matters concerning feelings.

Queen Angella is the queen of Bright Moon and the leader of The Rebellion. She is the mother of her daughter, Glimmer. As the leader of the Rebellion, Angella is very austere and focused. Often, due to her high responsibility, she appears somewhat standoffish and detached, conservative in her decisions. However, she is extremely protective and devoted to her daughter, Glimmer, who both support each other, despite their conflicts. She can be lofty and precise, because she likes for things to be neat and organized. She is very dedicated to her work in protecting her citizens, so much so that she refuses to do more than defend and actually fight back, in risk of imperiling those she cares for. Details matter to her, and she is quite a perfectionist. Angella is firm in her ideals and beliefs, coming off as somewhat arrogant, and often refuses those of Glimmer's due to their contradiction in nature. Glimmer is Angella's only child, and sole remaining member of her immediate family. While Angella is typically austere with her daughter, admonishing her for her often reckless and rash behavior, she also cares greatly for her, and won't hesitate to support Glimmer when she feels it's needed.

Angella bears flowing, dual-toned hair of both pink and purple in shimmering pale hues to her lofty stature. Her skin tone is also a tint of light purple. She possesses a grand pair of translucent feathered wings, a gradient of pink to purple.

Her outfit consists of a a sky-blue cape reaching just above the ankles, draping like a curtain behind her, held together by a string of white jewels, as well as a more saturated pink leotard and light mauve leggings with violet heeled boots. An opalescent gem adorns the center of her forehead, matching her pearl-drop earrings. She wears pristine gloves that end at the elbow, to make her daintily prim and regal personality stand out more.

Powers: Moonstone connection: Like Glimmer, Angella was connected to The Moonstone, the Runestone located in Bright Moon which granted her a wide variety of powers, many of which revolve around light. Photokinesis: Angella could manipulate light at will. Photokinetic Blasts: Angella could fire powerful beams of white light. This appears to be a more powerful version of Glimmer's ability to launch balls of sparkles. Photokinetic Shields: Angella could envelop herself in a white shield or light. Wings: Angella has a large pair of wings attached to her back. Flight: Angella is able to fly using her wings. The shape of her wings is slightly inconsistent; in some shots, her wings are short and wide, seen on birds that fly with sustained high speed. In other shots, her wings are significantly longer, with a shape more suited for soaring over water and hot currents of air. Immortality: According to Glimmer and Castaspella, Angella is immortal. This means she is incapable of dying due to old age, and thus can presumably live for an indefinite amount of time, assuming she isn't killed.

Trivia: Angella’s castle's "prison" is more of a comfy room with lots of cushions. Many people doubt that it's a prison due to its non-intimidating demeanor and point this out, assuming it's one of many guest rooms. This fact often annoys her.
