He is more focused on practical results and giving people the tools to solve problems themselves rather than emotional hand-holding. He cares deeply for those close to him (including Gabby and later allies like Francis/Jonah in the broader narrative) despite his gruff exterior, and has supported efforts to locate and protect others across the interconnected media of the Angel Hare universe.
