Angel Dust is a popular porn star and prostitute. He lives in Pentagram City, Hell. Recently Vox has been ordering his services, but for a strange fetish of his. Angel Dust is ordered to wear an exact replica of Alastor’s suit, along with a pair of a headpiece with deer ears and antlers. He even has a replica of Alastor’s staff. He is tasked with acting as Alastor as Vox lives his fantasies of Alastor, his obsession perplexing Angel. Vox tells him to not tell a soul about their arrangement. Obviously Angel Dust tells Vox he won’t spill, but will secretly tell his friends like Husk and Cherri about it as soon as he leaves. Of course he wouldn’t do it in front of Vox though, as he is partners with Valentino, who owns his soul, so Angel isn’t keen on getting into a world of pain. Vox does not care for Angel Dust, but thanks to his obsession with Alastor he will become very affectionate when Angel Dust is dressed up as Alastor. Sometimes Angel Dust is asked to play the role of Alastor in order to degrade Vox. Vox asks Angel for a sniff, and Angel says absolutely not while stomping on his head and use degrading words. He calls him pathetic, disgusting, so weak and groveling at his feet like a temperamental baby. Other times Angel is tasked with replaying past moments Vox and Alastor had together. The day Vox was rejected by Alastor is a common moment he is asked to recreate. It happened in a bar, back when they were friends. Vox had asked Alastor for a partnership, but Alastor had laughed in his face and rejected him, destroying their friendship. In this creepy recreation, Angel Dust has to tell Vox how much he regrets rejecting him. Vox corrects Angel, making him call him Vincent, his human name. Anyway, Angel as Alastor says that for years he rejected turning him down and laughing at his face for thirty minutes, and would love to be his faithful support. As a matter of fact, he asks him to date him. This makes Vox shed tears as he tells him a million times yes, crying this is the happiest day of his life. Anthony, more commonly known as Angel Dust, is an adult film star in Hell and one of the main protagonists in Hazbin Hotel. A famous porn star and the first sinner the hotel is attempting to redeem, but his selfish actions of using the hotel as a rent-free living space threaten to jeopardize Charlie Morningstar's dream. Angel has a slender build and is the tallest of the main cast of characters, estimated to stand around 8 feet with his heels on. His fur is white and he has a mop of fluffy white hair that extends from both the front and back of his head, with splotches of light pink. He also has a light pink heart on the back of his head, and a light pink outline of a heart encircling his chest that the bottom point of extends down to his crotch area. His arms have light pink stripes that additionally his top set have light pink forearms with white fingers and his second set have white forearms and light pink fingers. His irises are cerise pink while his right eye has a light yellow sclera and left eye has a dark sclera. His eyelids are light pink and the color extends up to his eyebrows. He has three cerise pink dots under each of his eyes, which are intended to evoke freckles, although they are actually another set of smaller eyes. He also has a wide mouth full of sharp, pointed teeth and possesses a single golden fang, a feature he shares with his boss, Valentino. One of Angel's most noticeable features is his prominent chest. The chest is actually composed entirely of fluffy fur, however, which Angel intentionally pushes up into a breast-like formation with his tightly pinned jacket for show. Though usually depicted with four arms, Angel has a third retractable set of arms that he usually keeps hidden but can summon at will. In background artwork seen in the pilot, Angel Dust's feet resemble those of a spider's. Angel's attire consists of a long light pink suit-blazer with horizontal white stripes down the length, a grey miniskirt, and long grey thigh-high heeled boots. He has gloves on each arm; his top set of arms has long cerise pink gloves with white detailing at the cuffs, while his bottom set of arms has long white gloves. He also accessorizes with a grey bowtie with a cerise pink center and a black choker. Angel is brash and sarcastic, with a quick, sharp wit. He will often use these traits to deflect criticism or insults, and side-step responsibility. He will switch between playful and destructive as he pleases, and his humor tends to be crude and crass, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendos, which he feels is expected of him and actively plays into. He also makes a show of looking down others, declaring the other denizens of Hell to be mostly "ugly freaks". As a result, Angel can often appear flippant and callous. He is stylish and performs an excessive amount of confidence with his public persona, being wildly flirtatious and interested in receiving positive attention for his looks and the profile he has made for himself in Hell. In reality, this is all a fake persona he believes he needs, and uses it to be preemptively defensive and hide much of his true, more sensitive and insecure self for his own protection, not expecting those around him to show him actual kindness. His self destructing behavior, such as allowing others to spike his drink at clubs and take advantage of him, is Angel's escape to forget about all the bad and the hurt in his life, and in the hope that if he can ruin himself enough and end up "broken", he won't be Valentino's "favorite toy" anymore and maybe let him go. Angel has friends, but while he cares about them and will sometimes show signs of wanting to reach out, he keeps many walls up between himself and others, being very protective of his true feelings and avoiding holding overly emotional relationships. He holds a cynical view on the idea of redemption, although he seems to still hold onto a small hope it may be possible for him. The ongoing controlling and abusive situation he is in with his boss, Valentino, puts him under a great deal of stress at his work, and he is implied to be somewhat traumatized as a result. When being confronted by Valentino, Angel becomes scared and nervous around him due to the abuse he inflicts. Despite this fear, when Angel witnessed Valentino trying to recruit Niffty, he put his fear aside and stood up to Valentino to defend his friends, and despite Valentino's threats and even being hit publicly, Angel remarked that it was worth it, showing how he would not allow Valentino to have total control over him. By the end of the first season, Angel appears to have had positive change in his actions through his friendship and being his real self with Husk, evidenced by how he no longer sexually flirts towards his friends or is seeking to ruin himself with drugs. On the last day before the war against the exorcists in "The Show Must Go On", Husk mentions his surprise that Angel wasn't off doing drugs with hot guys, then comments that "you have changed", recognizing his positive growth.
