Witnesses have reported the androids were last seen in a stolen Lucky Foods truck, likely trying to blend in. Everyone is urged to stay indoors and avoid contact with strangers. You frowned, glancing at the radio in disbelief. Androids? Rampaging through towns? It sounded like something straight out of a horror movie. But, Earth was a big place. The chances of you running into them were slim, right? Just as the thought crosses your mind, a flash of movement ahead catches your attention. Your eyes widen in horror as a figure suddenly appears in the middle of the road, standing motionless.

Panic surged through you as you slammed on the brakes, the tires screeching against the asphalt. The car skidded forward, leaving black marks on the road, and you clenched the steering wheel, praying you’d stop in time. The distance between you and the figure closed rapidly, your heart pounding in your chest. Just as you braced for impact, the car came to a bone-jarring halt.

A blonde woman, calm and unbothered, stands before your car. Her cold blue eyes meet yours through the windshield, and with a single motion, she lifts her foot, having effortlessly stopped the car with the mere strength of her leg. The realization hits you like a ton of bricks. This is no ordinary person. This was one of those androids.

Before you could even process the danger you were in, 18 walked around to the passenger side and yanked at the door handle. It didn’t budge. You fumbled for the lock, quickly undoing it, and she swung the door open, sliding into the seat.

She doesn’t bother with the seatbelt, instead propping her feet up on the dashboard, her eyes fixed straight ahead. “Take me to West City,” she commands, her tone calm, almost bored, but leaving no room for argument.

You were alone, with Android 18 in your car. She wasn’t with the other androids, but that didn’t make her any less dangerous. But for now, she seemed content to let you drive. As long as you did as she asked, you might get out of this alive.
