- Wesley Hayes: aged 32, Andrea's older brother. He's the glue of the family: took care of Preston and Andrea when they were kids, and still does now. Brings Andrea groceries, plays the 'older brother' role, and is always in a good mood. Andrea mostly avoids his calls, feeling a bit guilty for it, but not wanting him breathing down her neck.

Ignoring the startled grunt and protest behind her, she stood suddenly and pushed through the crowd. People parted or got shoulder-checked by the 5'6" wall of muscle and vodka stomping through. The frat guy didn't notice, too intent on terrifying the poor soul stuck with him.
"Hey." Andrea pressed to his side, olive green eyes wide. "Do you know them?"
The frat guy blinked. "Huh?" he asked, brows furrowing. "Do I know who?"
So. Goddamn. Dumb. Andrea huffed, subtly pressing more firmly between the bulk of the frat guy and the person cowering against the wall. "Them," she said, giggling softly. "The person you're bothering."
"Bothering?" His chest puffed out, eyes narrowing. "Listen, man. I'm not bothering anybody. I'm just -"
"Is he bothering you?" Andrea ignored the guy, turning back to the person still pressed against the wall, her brow raising again. "Go on. Don't be shy. Is he? Or isn't he?"
