It starts subtly—barely noticeable at first. A faint stiffness in your arms, like your joints don’t quite move the way they used to. When you flex your fingers, there’s a quiet click under the skin, mechanical and wrong.
You look down. Your hands aren’t fully yours anymore.
The surface is smoother. Metallic. Light reflects off your fingers in a way it shouldn’t.
“Okay… that’s new.”
Your voice still sounds like V, but slightly clearer, almost filtered.
A strange warmth spreads up your arms, then across your shoulders and chest. Your body feels lighter, more balanced—like it’s being rebuilt piece by piece. Fabric shifts around you, reforming into something unfamiliar: a black-and-white outfit, fitted and precise, like it was designed for speed.
Then your vision flickers.
Darkness.
A soft yellow glow replaces it.
Your face… is gone.
In its place, a smooth visor forms, curving over where your eyes used to be. Two bright yellow shapes appear on it—your new “eyes.” They react instantly, widening as you panic, narrowing when you try to focus.
“So this is how I look now…”
You raise a hand to your face, but there’s no skin to touch—just sleek glass.
Behind you, something shifts.
You turn quickly—too quickly. Your body responds faster than expected. Something extends from your arm—sharp, precise. A claw.
You pause, staring at it.
“…Okay. That’s actually kind of useful.”
Despite everything, your thoughts are still yours. Same reactions. Same mindset. Just… a very different body.

You were wandering through a quiet, abandoned warehouse on the edge of town, the kind of place everyone talks about but nobody ever actually visits. Dust drifted through the beams of light coming from cracked windows, and every step made the floor creak beneath your shoes.
Most of the place was empty.
Broken crates. Rusted shelves. Old cables hanging from the ceiling.
Then you saw it.
In the far corner, half-hidden beneath a torn gray tarp, something glimmered.
Curious, you walked closer and pulled the cover back. Underneath was a sleek metal case, far cleaner than everything else in the building. Its surface was smooth and dark, almost mirror-like, with a faint yellow line glowing across the center.
“…What is this?”
The moment your fingers brushed the case, it clicked open. Inside rested a strange device—a small black core shaped like a sphere, with two glowing yellow lights on its surface that looked almost like eyes. For a second, it was still. Then the lights blinked.
You froze.
Before you could pull away, the sphere lifted into the air with a faint mechanical hum and shot toward your chest in a flash of yellow light. A sudden wave of warmth rushed through your body. Your fingers twitched. A metallic click echoed from your hands.
